You missed all of the references in the skill tree with stuff from Back to the Future, ghost in the shell, that type thing. Much smaller but I thought they would get a mention
Following the Panam quest lines, you'll eventually reach a quest that involves Mitch and Scorpion(the 2 best friends of Panam). After completing the quest you receive a figurine of MortalKombat's Scorpion.
If you take the ending Johnny and Rouge path, at the end of it right before you meet again with Alt, there's second Matrix ester egg where you see the same cat twice after you getting up the stairs.
I've got two months of Gamepass left, Cyberpunk ain't getting anymore of my time until at the very least that's expired, and even then there's Star Wars Squadrons & Ghostrunner for me to play. CDPR gotta fix this shit
One thing I like about the BB room is there’s also a legendary revolver in the room. Tie that with Kojima being in the game and one can interpret it as a reference to Revolver Ocelot... or at least I like to think so.
Well, Keanu's character *IS* a rock star... kinda makes sense. But now that you mention it, I had been scratching my head over it. Works splendidly. Guess that's why it took a decade to make.
Could'nt remeber the pokemon name, but it was my first thought too. But that shell, and his ghost alike appearance? That still might be GITS refference
Additional Witcher 3 Easter egg I found, when meeting Takemura at the Japan town docks a Arasaka ship called the Okami sail by with its name in bright white letters. Okami means wolf in Japanese so its a reference to the White wolf. Also has some kind of float as its cargo.
When you're sitting in the Basilisk (Which is looking like a small World War Millenium Falcon) and Panam doesnt get it to start, you can choose to say: "I have a bad feeling about this", quoting Han Solo from Star Wars
One reference I see few people mention is the "Security you can trust" advertising. In the wide board, you can read, that it's by the "International MNEMONIC Data Transfer services". In the high ad board, you also learn that the first 80GB are free of charge. 80GB was also the headware memory, that the Title character had in "Johnny Mnemonic" (another Johnny played by Keanu Reeves), before installing a storage doubler.
When you get a special smart gun from a question mark location it sings the melody of disturbia from Rihanna when you talk to it and sometimes when you equip it to use it “Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum”
Skippy seems to be a reference to the book series called, “The Expeditionary Force” by Craig Alanson. The beer can (Skippy) in the book has a LOT of the same kinds of quirks that Skippy the gun has. Especially the comments about being dumb when you find him. Also, Skippy in the book series is an AI too.
In one of the endings during the tests they are doing to V, one of them is an "empathy test" (Tyrell: "Is this supposed to be an empathy test?" re: the voight-kampff test) with a question about a seemingly random situation which reminds very very heavily the beginning ("I will tell you about my mother") scene of Blade Runner. There is also a Roy Batty niche at the Columbarium.
Almost all the missions are named after songs. The three main ending missions are “where is my mind” a song by the pixies. “All along the watchtower” by bob Dylan or more famously redone by Jimi Hendrix. And lastly “new dawn fades” by either Moby or Joy division.
I started noticing when I got to the string of Samurai references and I guess I started paying more attention cause after that I kept being like "wait....hold on" lol I mean Stairway to Heaven, All along the watchtower? Nice cdpr, nice lol
One more Blade Runner reference is a filing cabinet in the mission 'The Hunt' which if you scan says it contains dreams of electric sheep and unicorns. Blade Runner was an adaptation of the book 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep'.

There is a Batman easter egg. Go to the tunnel where you got with Panam and go further in, you'll find the "Batcave" and get to keep the "Batmobile". You're welcome
@@CthulhuSauce yeah that one was awesome, wondering how murk mans gonna do his work now without his murk mobile.
@@CthulhuSauce i got that and later on was thinking “wow that was like the batcave” but didn’t put the two together 🤦♂️
@@tristancosta6790 Yeah, the note in there is what really connects the two. When I first found it my mind jumped from 'Whooo Batman!' to 'Probably a shiv stash.'
@@CthulhuSauce dude i went back there and couldn't find it
don't know what i did wrong
You missed all of the references in the skill tree with stuff from Back to the Future, ghost in the shell, that type thing. Much smaller but I thought they would get a mention
Blade runner lol I saw em
Theres even an AKIRA one in the skill tree
Love the game. A bit Overwhelmed with everything; and my PS4 is smoking out the back trying to keep a steady frame rate. But I love it
Following the Panam quest lines, you'll eventually reach a quest that involves Mitch and Scorpion(the 2 best friends of Panam). After completing the quest you receive a figurine of MortalKombat's Scorpion.
If you take the ending Johnny and Rouge path, at the end of it right before you meet again with Alt, there's second Matrix ester egg where you see the same cat twice after you getting up the stairs.
Oooh man that's true I noticed the cat in both staircases but didn't realize it xD
Missed that there's also straight up a character named Jotaro to go with the JoJo Pose
Omg where?
Kevin B
It's not even a reference, people really do be called Jotaro in Japan
Who is jotaro?
I know I saw find jotaro on my quest tracker and had a small panic attack
Ok but the club owner Suzie Q??? aint she a reference?
The game is SOOOOOO GOOOODDD but SOOOOOO BUGGGYYYY 😞😞
So it isnt good
I've got two months of Gamepass left, Cyberpunk ain't getting anymore of my time until at the very least that's expired, and even then there's Star Wars Squadrons & Ghostrunner for me to play. CDPR gotta fix this shit
Give a month. Game hasn't even been out a full week. There will be improvements.
I actually haven’t encountered any bugs at all so far in my play through. I guess that makes me extremely lucky
@@gren3515 its been running great for me on the ps5 just like 2 crashes
#1 : An intoxicated man, that looks strangely alot like Todd Howard, laughing in a Japan Town club.
When all the bugs are fixed he'll be removed.. lmao
"Who's laughing now?"
@@mrj5256 It just works (oh how we love Todd)
"All of this just works"
One thing I like about the BB room is there’s also a legendary revolver in the room. Tie that with Kojima being in the game and one can interpret it as a reference to Revolver Ocelot... or at least I like to think so.
Or how about every single mission in the entire game is a song...
yes!!!! im not trippin balls. ive been noticing that all the time but no one has mentioned it.
Well, Keanu's character *IS* a rock star... kinda makes sense. But now that you mention it, I had been scratching my head over it. Works splendidly.
Guess that's why it took a decade to make.
@@amzarnacht6710 RIDERS OF THE STOOOOORM
@@CaptainAceOfSpades that song has been stuck in my head ever since i did that quest...
It's an homage to Cowboy Bebop ;)
Wow... ghost in a shell... and I thought "semen clam"
truly thought it was a sperm, a cute sperm but still...
i thought the same, sperm in a clam
Can’t believe I didn’t catch that one 🤦🏻♂️
it looks more like wobbuffet
I thought the pokemon wabafett haha
"it's ghost in the shell"
No, that's a wobbuffet.
Is this some special kind of sushi made of your ancestors souls?
looks like sperm in a clam to me lol
Pokemon!
Could'nt remeber the pokemon name, but it was my first thought too. But that shell, and his ghost alike appearance? That still might be GITS refference
@@prymus141 It is a GITS reference. I was joking.
Additional Witcher 3 Easter egg I found, when meeting Takemura at the Japan town docks a Arasaka ship called the Okami sail by with its name in bright white letters. Okami means wolf in Japanese so its a reference to the White wolf. Also has some kind of float as its cargo.
It carry a huge wolf head as well. Saw that too
When you're sitting in the Basilisk (Which is looking like a small World War Millenium Falcon) and Panam doesnt get it to start, you can choose to say: "I have a bad feeling about this", quoting Han Solo from Star Wars
I also found a document called "cyberpunk 2020 rule book"
I did too
Heyo been watching y'all for years and wanted to ask a favor. Tell everyone how good they're doing in the office! Love y'alls work keep it up
You are a nice person
There’s a character in a side mission named Scorpion and he looks like scorpion from mortal Kombat
Rest in peace brother 🙏 The Aldecados will miss ya.
Plus if you finish a side quest related to him you get a scorpion figure.
If you complete all those quests you get a scorpion action figure
Who clapped Panams cheeks?
@@retrokbm3004 🤔
You can find Witcher's clothing - wolf school 2077 edition in the form of a shirt plus a jacket.
I've been waiting for #5 😁
Saw those three Shells and immediately remembered Demolition-Man. 😂
This game is so good I’m not having too many bugs on PC but more than expected. My heart goes out to those on older hardware.
I have it on Ps4 and haven't seen any of the issues people talk about the worst I've encountered was tposing
Thought the “Breathtaking” achievement would at least have been mentioned.
Dex, the second fixer you meet, is wearing shoes with the Witcher wolf school medallions on them.
V also gets some Wolf School clothes.
@@TheNewTimeNetwork that's promotional not Easter egg
When you get a special smart gun from a question mark location it sings the melody of disturbia from Rihanna when you talk to it and sometimes when you equip it to use it “Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum”
So I found the gun in my game yesterday and got that stuck in my head, but I couldn't figure out why it so familiar, thanks man lol
i was left speechless and almost got emotional when i saw the glados cameo
There's a grave for Roy Batty complete with his dying quote in the gravesite near North Oaks
GLaDOS easter egg was pretty great lol though she’s the only one that leads you to actual danger
as someone with over 300 hours in Dark souls 3, the praise the sun emote Easter egg makes me SO HAPPY!!!
Skippy seems to be a reference to the book series called, “The Expeditionary Force” by Craig Alanson.
The beer can (Skippy) in the book has a LOT of the same kinds of quirks that Skippy the gun has. Especially the comments about being dumb when you find him. Also, Skippy in the book series is an AI too.
and skippy sing a Rihanna song I think bum bim de bum bum de, made me think a rihanna song
One pose in camera refers to Titanic "draw me like one of your French girls"
The mission “big in japan” is a refrence to a 80s song called big in japan by alphaville
They named all the mission titles after several 80s 90s and 00s songs that Johnny Silverhand would enjoy.
Yeah a lot of missions are named after comes especially the end ones
Almost all the missions are named after songs. The three main ending missions are “where is my mind” a song by the pixies. “All along the watchtower” by bob Dylan or more famously redone by Jimi Hendrix. And lastly “new dawn fades” by either Moby or Joy division.
@@R0adK1lled also the secret mission is don't fear the reaper
Just got the Mortal Kombat, Scorpion action figure in my apartment. I love it!
All of the missions are named after songs too. Idk if anyone else noticed that one.
I did notice a side mission by Panam, but didn't realize all of them are.
I started noticing when I got to the string of Samurai references and I guess I started paying more attention cause after that I kept being like "wait....hold on" lol
I mean Stairway to Heaven, All along the watchtower? Nice cdpr, nice lol
One more Blade Runner reference is a filing cabinet in the mission 'The Hunt' which if you scan says it contains dreams of electric sheep and unicorns. Blade Runner was an adaptation of the book 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep'.
also one of the best screensavers - electric sheep...fuck i should go look it up if it still exists
@@ipraytovodka Almost as good as the flying toasters!
You can get the Akira bike, or at least a bike that looks very very close to it in Westbrook.
get it like any other vehicle sold by fixers.
Speaking of Akira, there's the walking man hologram from the start of the film in the background of one of the city sections.
I just got the skyrim one where he was like "and you... who are you..."
hadvars voice is seared into my brain
I need to find out where gameranx gets their thumbnails made because those things are always freaking awesome
They have over 6 million subs, so they most likely hired somebody with a lot of photoshop experience to make their thumbnails. If you’re looking for someone to make thumbnails for you, you can probably just look on photoshop Reddit forums and message some people with work that you find impressive.
Monowire is from Johnny Mneumonic, with corpo talk matching his favorite hotels.
The obo clown look is based off of Judge Dredd's brother Rico
At beginning of game there is radio news of werewolves which come from The World of Future Darkness (Vampire Masquerade)
The area of Chiba and the talk of their clinics is from Neuromancer, merging all ai's to delamain to form a greater entity is also from neuromancer
very cool! i didnt see the Hideo Kojima one before, so that was a real surprise! also #7, totaly missed that one, so funny >_< and ahahahahahaha i had no clue about the Photomode poses XD
Legend has it there is a secret Easter egg for a locked frame rate
It costs $500 tho.
Just wanna point out that the at the back of the Cemetery there’s a bunch of real life names of people who have died and been immortalised within the game world
I like the Bladerunner one, it works really well.
When panam saves mitch using "the cowboy" I think thats a die hard reference.
Judy also has a tattoo of the ghost in a shell, and the very last side mission with her, the one were you can romance her, that mission is called pyramid song too.
My favorite easter egg is Diana Burnwood - Agent 47 handler. Rogue and Diana are voiced by same voice actress: Jane Perry. If you choose Rogue ending she will read the briefing as Diana.
Absolutely phenomenal stuff! Loved Diana.
