Wow, I'm glad I found your channel during the pandemic, You've helped and inspired me and my partner to be financially wise and live minimalist. Truly thankful for all the lessons and knowledge you've shared with us.
Hey, Nate, thank you so much for your content. I have started my own investment and savings path because of your great tutorials. I have also always been a minimalist, so I totally appreciate your minimalism videos. Loved your whole channel through and through. You are a person of integrity. We wish you the best for your future! Much appreciation!!!
You’ll be missed man. You were one of the guys that inspired me to make videos. I used to watch your income updates at 4am while I was editing mine. Hopefully you’ll come back someday but either way, glad to say I’ve met and hung with you! Stay awesome 🤙
One of the most impressive things I like about Nate is his ability to speak in front of a camera without any awkward pauses - the way he speaks is so fluid and he’s really good at communicating his thoughts in a logical way that’s easy to consume. There’s so few cuts and he hardly says umm or ahhs. It’s honestly crazy. What a dude, wishing you the best of luck, man. Thanks for inspiring all of us!
I almost cried with this video, it seems like yesterday when I started watching your content. Been following you since 2017-2018 and you were one of my biggest inspirations to start my personal finance channel directed to Mexico. Best of luck and success Nate 🙏 I’m grateful for all that you shared with us
@@4ndy123 So bitter and miserable. Can't stand someone else having a positive experience and showing genuine gratitude and kindness. Let me guess, I should grow up too? Or shut up? Something tells me that Carlos is miles ahead of you in every possible way.
Good for you, Nate! You demonstrate a level of maturity and thoughtfulness that most people never achieve. You should be very proud of the man that you are and you will be a wonderful partner and father!
I have enjoyed your channel immensely and have enjoyed watching your progress over the years. Thank you! I have missed you and am glad of the update although I hope you will share your life milestones with us occasionally - especially any little Nates who come along!
Good to see you again, Nate! I started my UA-cam channel in 2019 and I was afraid THAT was too late. But nope, it's still not too late even today. UA-cam is still growing and will continue to keep growing.
Difference being, you'll continue on the platform whilst it makes you money, instead of trying to make it a free dating platform to showcase your wealth?
That's a really sad news. I love to watch your video not only because they are very useful, but also for chance to witness how your mind works. You have like a different kind of thinking which differs from what I see in everyday life and it helps to level up my own existence. I would be happy if you have inspiration to continue with youtube one day. Thank you for everything you've done!
Nate, I started watching your videos in 2020, during the pandemic and you don't have idea what they helped me. Thank you for being honest and to have taken your time to explain us what happened. Best of luck in your future!
Sad to see you go, you are one of the major inspirations for my channel. Hopefully we will see you on more podcasts in the future, even if it’s only once a year ;)
This video shows why this channel is the Bible of self development youtubers. His retirement means that his channel wasn’t and never will be a cash grab. So many other channels turn into a money making factory. But this one will go down as a genuine, effective and relatable channel for everyone who wants to better themselves. Thank you so much for the great advice!
Congrats, Nate! What an amazing life you’ve curated for yourself! The first video of yours that I saw was from 4 years ago, the first tour of your minimalist apartment. Honestly, you have been the best source of personal finance information for me. Thank you! I really hope that you do occasional updates. A lot of us care about you and are rooting for you! ✌️🙏
Best wishes to you, Nate. Enjoyed your videos over the years, especially the minimalism that came through here and there and I remember being thoroughly amazed at how fast you read books. I, for one, sincerely appreciated that you were not repetitive like many others and it definitely made a difference. Have a great life!
Your videos have been of great help! You were always someone I looked up to! Nice to see that you have reached your goal for your 25. Please do post updates now and then. Greetings from Brazil! 🇧🇷 🙏🏻

Well done on a killer UA-cam career dude. I'm excited to hear how your businesses turn out over time. Sound like you're absolutely crushing though - great to see!

Loved all your content man. Started binge watching your videos in 2018 and you fundamentally changed the way I looked at money. Thanks for all the knowledge, appreciate everything you’ve put out and I wish you all the best going forward ❤️
Nate O'Brien is a very wise individual for his age and for making this decision. Not too many people know when enough is enough. If you are able to be financially free at the age of 25, it allows one to focus on different aspects of life. I like how Nate at least gave us a farewell video of sorts to give us closure. All I can say is to have the best of luck and maybe after some extended period of time, there will be other updates on the channel.
Great vídeo! Thank you for sharing your perspective 🙏 best of luck on your projects and I hope you find the right woman for your future family soon. As a father of 3, that is the greatest blessing 😊
Much appreciated! Hopefully you keep the channel up and drop an update or two every now and again. Thanks for everything and good luck with your life goals!
I discovered you through your brother Mike’s channel and found you very mature and informative. Thank you for all you do, and you inspired me to make my own goal and see it through. I wish you well, and I know you will achieve everything you put your will to because you have proved it with this channel. Again, thank you.
Started watching your content back in 2018 and loved it. You were a huge inspiration and model for me to finally start my channel this year. Thanks for the years of content Nate! Go get that next goal!
I appreciate your existence Nate. Thank you. Even with this goodbye, you've solidified your invaluable character which in itself is inspiring way beyond UA-cam.
Man I am so glad you posted this! In the early days of my finance journey, I loved watching your videos! It was you, Graham Stephen, and Ryan Scribner that I viewed a lot! I still tell people about your channel because you were just so genuine and nice. These days I watch mainly Joseph Carlson. I retired at 28 and like you, I had to come to terms with not feeling like I needed to prove anything and just being content with what I achieved. I have let things run on cruise control also. I suppose I've attained Barista Fire as some call it. Life is good. I am satisfied. (:

I wish you the best with "moving on". I don't need new videos. Hope to hear from you in future occasional updates (maybe in a couple years or so) because I am very interested in how it goes. Thank you Nate for your channel. It was your channel thought about a debt snowball. I never heard this before. Then, it was from you that I heard about Dave Ramsey. Was watching your videos when only thousands subs at that time. Your empty apartment. Living in your car. That was years ago. Wow, time flies so fast.
Makes total sense! Thank you for your videos and information. And NO, you should not feel guilty ending your channel. Total genius! Good Luck in your future endeavors 👋
Good for you man. While make content is great, knowing you said everything you needed to say and share is a good stopping point. You've completed the mission you set out to do. Forcing yourself to make content is the biggest disservice you can do to yourself creatively. Its like those clothing style channels making their 98th video telling us to wear an all white canvas sneaker and navy blue chinos. Your channel lifespan was a good run and has helped many people. Cheers man
Good to see you come back brother. I started UA-cam a year and half ago thanks to your channel, learning from you and picking up and today I have over 100k subs. I learned a lot from you and I wish you do well in whatever you do and where ever you go. !
Cheers to the end of a chapter! Thank you so much Nate. I grew up watching your channel starting at 12 years old, as one of my favorite personal finance content creators. Now I am almost 18, I have to say that your videos really impacted my goals from a young age. Wishing you well on your future endeavors!
Best of luck with accomplishing the 3 goals you've set for yourself, and of course future new goals that I'm sure you'll find yourself pursuing as well. Thank you for all your content throughout the years (educational and personal), as I've found myself learning many things from your advice/experiences. Take care Nate 👋
Nate, I've enjoyed your channel immensely over the years, not only for the knowledge you shared but also for how you shared it. Your demeanour always struck me as one of integrity and humility. I wish you and your brother all the success in the world and hope you find the perfect farm. All the best!
Thank you Nate. You started your channel around the time I graduated high school and I’ve learned so much from you over the years about finances and entrepreneurship. My life (and the lives of many others) is better for all you’ve shared.
Congratulations on the amazing run Nate! I'd been following your content since 2018 and am immensely sad to see you go but at the same time very proud -- it's very on-brand of you lol Your content has had a huge influence on me over the years -- it helped me develop a mental framework for coming up with unique business ideas I hadn't considered before. I was also really into the minimalism during the era when it was a trending hashtag (I'm now more of an essentialist, but labels don't matter much). Your videos helped me a lot with my finances in my early twenties and now I'm starting to see the dividends (metaphorically and literally) of those decisions starting to pay off in my late 20s. I still use some of your productivity tips to this day (ie Eat the Frog), and read a lot of the books you recommended. Safe to say, I think more than being a huge fan, I feel like I've been viewing you as a role model on how I want to approach my work, finances, and life. For example, whenever I need to make important life decisions without the influence of outside forces, I've learned to disconnect and figure out what decisions make sense for me and the type of life I want to live. I really like the approach you've taken with YT, and feel you've been clear with where your values have always lied. And whenever I ask myself what is a good example of down-to-earth, humble, and honest way to conduct my businesses and my own youtube channel, I return to your work and your character as a reminder. If I ever see you in person one day I think I'd (1) freeze up from the weird parasocial moment and (2) shake your hand and thank you in-person for the content that has played quite a significant part of my life. Looking forward to continue following on other socials, good luck on the 3 goals for the next 5-10 years!
Totally agree and relate to your comment! I had the same thought as you--very on-brand of Nate to leave the platform after accomplishing his goals haha.

I think it's essential to emphasize the importance of diversification and risk management. Many people are scared of the stock market because they don't understand it
I was skeptical at first, but investing in the stock market has been a game-changer for me. I've been able to pay of my credit card and start building wealth

Thank you for all the videos. I’ve learned a lot. Good luck with everything.
Thank you Nate. You started your channel around the time I graduated high school and I’ve learned so much from you over the years about finances and entrepreneurship. My life (and the lives of many others) is better for all you’ve shared.
Congratulations on the amazing run Nate! I'd been following your content since 2018 and am immensely sad to see you go but at the same time very proud -- it's very on-brand of you lol
Your content has had a huge influence on me over the years -- it helped me develop a mental framework for coming up with unique business ideas I hadn't considered before.
Bout shed a tear 🥲 best of luck to you and Mike! Thanks for being the most genuine UA-camr and friend out there 🙌
Probably the only honest UA-camr that doesn't continue UA-cam just for money. I wish you a lot of luck in the future and no matter which way you will take, I believe everything will go smooth since you are a very smart person!
Thank you Nate, for this channel. I have learned so much from you more than you’ll ever know. I’ll miss your book recommendations and minimalist tips. Godspeed 👍
You will be greatly missed! Thank you so much for all of the valuable content you provided. 🦋
Thank you and I’m really happy for you that you achieved your goals and you’re advancing to a new season of your life. Good luck 🍀
I figured you were going to leave UA-cam 😢
Thank you so much for everything you've taught us throughout these years!
Best of luck!! Hope to see more of you in the future:)
Yes, I thought it would be nice to have some closure instead of completely disappearing
One of the few youtube channels I love. Wishing you and your family a good summer bro
Nate finally coming to my state. Happy to be here when it started and happy to be here when it ended. see you soon.
Your videos were so helpful! I truly going to miss you but I am excited for your future. All the blessing!
End of an era! Thanks for all you've done! You are the first finance UA-camr I ever followed
I think it's essential to emphasize the importance of diversification and risk management. Many people are scared of the stock market because they don't understand it
I agree with you..education is key I've been sharing resources and articles with my friend's to help them learn more about investing
I'm so glad i started investing in the stock market...it's helped me pay off my mortgage faster and build a safety net
I completely agree! Investing has allowed me to tackle my debt and start saving for retirement. It's amazing how much of a difference it can make
I was skeptical at first, but investing in the stock market has been a game-changer for me. I've been able to pay of my credit card and start building wealth
I'm so grateful for the financial freedom that investing has given me. I no longer stress about making ends meet or paying off my mortgage
I'd tune in for a life update from Nate very several years. Good luck -- so wonderful to have some many years ahead.
Good for you!! Proud of you!!
Thanks
That’s awesome Nate! I really appreciate the things you have shared through your videos. I hope that you reach the goals. Enjoy your freedom
