Wouldn’t it be fantastic if Dr. Newson was able to open clinics in other countries and trained the practitioner so all women who want it had access to her knowledge.
Exactly! I'm starting the "journey" to find someone to help me get started in Canada. And I'm sure there may be some who are great. However I am so worried no one understands and has the knowledge like she does! I want to go see her!!!
@@thatrealambergirl I’m also in Canada. Do a search on the North American Menopause Society website for a menopause trained practitioner in your area. The cost is out of pocket but so worth it.
The problem with following and listening to you is that I don't trust anyone else now! I don't know where to start, who to listen too. I feel like no one understands it like you do! So now I'm in a hunt to find someone who can help me with my very extreme peri, in Toronto. I don't feel like I'm finding anyone! 😭
Thank you so much for sharing this information on the options of HRT. I just started at age 59 because I just found a doctor to help me. This information is critical.
My GP suggested watching you as research to her starting my HRT journey. This was my first time watching you. So easy to listen to. So informative. So exciting to think of the possibilities that await me. Thank you. I’ll be back for more ! 🇦🇺
Thankyou for all the amazing work you do. Everything you publish has really helped me self educate so I can have informed conversations with my GP that demonstrates the personal ownership I am taking for my own body and mind. Doing this is now leading to much better outcomes with my GP. That said changing GP practices made a huge difference too. First one wasn't interested and fell very short of good help. So much pressure could be alleviated on the NHS by elevating great HRT assessment and prescription.
Thank you for getting this information out. Can you please talk about fluid retention that occurs when on hormones. Does it decrease over time? Do you recommend taking a diuretic?
Thank you, Dr Newson! I would LOVE to have access to the academic book chapter you wrote and mentioned in this video. Please let us know the title of the book once it’s available. I’m eternally grateful for your work for women. Please don’t stop! 🫶🏼
Thank you Dr Newson. I would be very grateful If you could do a podcast on Fibroids and HRT link. I am one of many, many women who suffer from uterine fibroids and going through terrible symptoms of perimenopause but not sure if I can take the HRT because of my fibroids. There is a lot of confusion and misinformation about this between health professionals. Thank you so much.
Our skin is our largest organ. It’s interesting that these patches have glue which could have chemicals in it? Also, people don’t always think that conventional moisturizing lotions could have chemicals in them as well. I’ve been using castor oil, almond oil or coconut oil on my body for years. I always say I’d never put a lotion on my skin that I wouldn’t eat. 🤷🏻♀️
Can you talk about cycling your hormones in post menopausal women please? This is how our body worked when we were cycling normally. It seems strange to me, that we now have static doses. Thanks
Thank you so much for what you do and for your support and guidance You give to us all. Would it Please. Talk about what we should take after having a hysterectomy And Overs removed. Thankyou so mch xxxx
Dr. Newson thank you for the very informative video . You had mentioned about capsules progesterone . What do you think about compounded vaginal suppository progesterone?
ua-cam.com/video/CgGGNWQDQ2Y/v-deo.htmlsi=IFqyRUa2VxSoIzwG I heard your symptoms talked about in this video. Never mind the title - it’s totally misleading. The doctor is very knowledgeable about histamine intolerance and menopause, how symptoms can overlap and also get triggered by HRT. But it sounded like it can be prevented with the correct individualization of treatment!
Unfortunately, I’ve been bleeding for three weeks straight. I’m almost 52, late stage perimenopause.. I went to the doctor and they prescribed Medroxyprogesterone, even AFTER I requested a bio identical progesterone. I’m so frustrated. 😩😩😩
That's not for you then. Change it up. Hows your diet and nutrition? What about supplements? You shouldn't be getting headaches. Try coarse salt with water. Non processed salt. Homepathy remedies help too.
I went to the doctor s for my review in August all he done was laugh at me and said he was taking me of evorol Conti patches for good Thay are helping me what causes neausa heart palpitations please thank you ♥️🌹

What's your gut health like? Your microbiome is been destroyed by low levels of Estradiol and now anti biotics. I'd see a clinical nutritionist who knows what she is talking about. You need to start eating fermented foods. Cabbage... Organic Superior Yogurt. Kefir... You also need good pro biotics regularly. The mirena coil is awful I would never recommend it. You can take Progesterone vaginally. Lower dose. Or even transdermal Progesterone if desperate. You should look at your B9= Folic acid.. get the tests done and thyroid. B9= produces Progesterone.
Localised 10mg Estradiol pessasiers for vagina at night/estradiol cream. You won't have UTIs. Your gut is not good. Its causing all this. You could have leaky gut. Low Estradiol kills the lactobacillus good bacteria.

I’ve recently started HRT at the age of 67. Was so happy until I started bleeding. Haven’t a period in years! I am in body identical taking micronised progesterone and oestrodial gel. My GP has just changed me to a synthetic progesterone to stop the bleeding. I am now so worried as I keep reading about the link with this and breast cancer. Don’t know what to do…
Natural? Sorry if I missed it is it both oestrogen’s and progesterone both natural version you give? Also you should interview Dr Barbie Taylor world best guru in this filed! 👌
Personally I don’t agree with a lot of what Barbara Taylor offers. She no longer practices and IMO she doesn’t seem to keep up with research and the advancement of new information. I’ve read that her videos were made several years ago and uploaded later.
Dr. Gersh is far superior to Barbara Taylor whom isn't even practicing anymore. She lies about Progesterone as well. She downgraded it's part. She also exaggerates and kind of gets a kick out of shocking women. She was good with the SERMS part.
The safest is bio estradiol but then you have to take bio progesterone. The progesterone makes me very angry so i feel like how can i then take the safest way of hrt?

No don't get that. Use the Progesterone vaginally at 100mg. Micro grams.. at night. You reduce the dose because its inserted and no liver metabolites.
