Hi Stephen a very nice simple composition that has infinite possibilities thank you for posting. I totally agree about social media in general as it can and does get in the way of not just painting but life as well. Until next time take care and stay safe my friend
Thank you very much my friend.. i do appreciate that..
Hello Stephen, i'm also very busy painting. My artwork is more contemp modern art. I'm trying to paint as many art before December, because i want to sell at our Art and Craft Market here in Port Elizabeth,SA. But i am so please when i found a new snow scenery art work from you. Its now late afternoon here and tonight i will for sure make time to look at your beautiful painting. Love your show, its calming and make me so relax that i found myself a little bit sleepy listening to your voice. Love to listen to your easy, friendly show with always beautiful work. God bless you and thank you for teaching us the easy steps.
Brilliant work and completely understand about Facebook. It can be a life stealer.
Thanks my friend..thats true.
So beautiful but the snow looks like water on this side of the fence.
Hello Steven. Another awesome painting, thankyou. Once you are not so busy I hope you will consider posting the link to your reference photo. It is sometimes difficult to see the details while seeing the canvas and palette.
Thank you.
Hi Cheryl... thank you....the reference photo link is in the description under the video...
Thank you Steven. That helps me a lot.
Hi! This was my first oil painting… i must practice 😀but its ok…
I had problems with blending yellow into blue sky.. it looks greenish 🤷♀️😀
Just a little pink in between should fix it.. 😁
Do you include the reference image on patreon? I ask because I’m new and am working with a limited palette of sorb with the addition of burnt umber and Prussian blue. A reference image would help with me making colors since I don’t have the same palette you use
Here is the reference photo Louis...i hope that helps.

Thanks. I will be joking your patreon. Just waiting till tomorrow so I don’t get billed 2 days in a row
practical queston: although you do not see them on the photo, should not the posts get a kind of shadow on the ground. They catch the sun, but should not there be a type of shadow on the snow, even if you so not see it on the photo?
Yes i do agree with you completely. And yes you could put a shadow on the snow if you wish. It may even look better...but if you imaging a line coming from the sun towards the posts it would cast a very sharp shadow, hardly visible to be honest..but yes i you wish a little shadow is possible..thank you
Will you be getting more stubby brushes in on your web site?
I have them on this website..here is the link..thank you.
