Hi from England! Thank you for your video! I enjoyed quite a lot and the background music makes it comfortable while watching. Nice beach too! Thank you!
I love seeing these kind of slice-of-life videos from Japan. Thank you for showing a bit of Kamakura and providing a bit of easy Japanese language input (even though it does remind me that my listening comprehension is still lacking).
Thank you for sharing! I absolutely loved the video. You seem like a kind and genuine person. I enjoyed the relaxing vibe you gave off and it really does feel like taking a walk with a friend ❤
Very enjoyable to see these normal everyday sides of life in Japan. Thank you for sharing them. And by the way, you have a quiet, soothing voice, very pleasant to listen to.
Hi Yuri-Chan, I love these chill chats, it’s far from boring. Listening to your thoughts/feelings and experiences is inspiring and helpful to me and others too I am guessing. I want to say you have great fashion and I appreciate your strength to reach out through this medium where we can interact with you. Oh I’m more of a mountains guy 😆 too many sharks here in Australia 😂
Thank you for sharing more of Kamakura and more about yourself. It really does feel like we're taking a walk with a friend, and it would be so fun to go on a tour with you. I'm also really glad that you decided to do what makes you happier. I can't wait to see more of Kamakura :)
I follow a few woman on social media who are into the fashion scene in the Tokyo area and "Jirai-kei" is one of the styles a couple of them like. One is very much oshi-katsu too. That is how I learned about this segment of Japanese society. Wanted to move to Japan to work but am considered too old to work. Moving elsewhere but will be able to save up money to spend a good amount of time as a visitor in Kanto. I will have to look you up for guide services since I am not really into the touristy areas but everyday Japan is my thing. Love the ocean and Japan in general.
Just watched your UA-cam video. Great to see the background behind your story. Keep the faith and gambatte. I will support you in anyway I can. Rainen tanoshimini
Kamakura (and the area of Yuigahama) is my favourite city in Japan. I live in Tokyo but try to go as much as I can ♥ I really liked the video! You look really natural talking to the camera and I think that's what makes the video more engaging and 面白い :) And it's a good practice for Japanese! Thanks for adding subtitles in English too. Can't wait to see more!
I like the video! Seeing your hometown of Kamakura looks really nice. You have made me interested in seeing Kamakura and possibly booking a tour haha. It’s cool that you were able to see some of the places in the US, there are so many great places in across the states. You spoke about how people could feel nervous when traveling to Japan, thats how I feel about my upcoming trip. It’s mainly the language barrier for me.
I am going to Japan in January real soon as an end of my 20’s gift to myself and was wanting to visit Kamakura to see the big Buddha statue but after seeing your video I wanna talk a walk around Kamakura. By the way, you are a beautiful girl.
Such a nice video Yuri-chan. Your hometown looks nice from what you have shown everyone. I have visited Japan a few times but not since 2019 and I am planning on going back for another visit soon, maybe i will stay this time. I will contact you if i want a tour, I think a personal tour would be great. Keep the good videos coming and also do not worry about your English, i think your English is fine. Just takes practice.
Hi Yuri! Stumbled across your channel and before I knew it I was 15 minutes into your video hah. It's funny how we might speak different languages, live in different countries and yet still have the same thoughts like 2:35. Thank you for sharing!
Nice video, it's great to see Kamakura when it's quiet, it was so busy when I visited in 2018. I'll be in Japan for Xmas and New year, I'd love to take a tour of Kamakura. I can't speak Japanese though unfortunately.
Yurichan I can teach you to swim ! You would laugh after two weeks how easy it! I would love a Kamakura tour! Even a full japanese tour by train, car, bicycle, paraglider, skike.
I have a closer friend in Osaka. He has taken me and my wife everywhere in Japan. Tourist areas and not tourist areas. He is part time tour guide. I love Japan...I know is hard there for many working so much....but the place is more organized compare to the US. As you can see...also big fan of Ultraman. haha. Good video. BTW....for swimming....maybe you learned the wrong way. Main thing if you have to swim..is to go from one end to the other. Assuming is short distance. There are ways to keep your head above water and not having to worry too much about breathing. Just a thought. Will subscribe to see what else you will officer. Domo-Arigato.✌
Spent a day in Kamakura some years ago while traveling in Japan and I absolutely loved the town and its history (visited the museum as well)! We also just explored, found tombs and temples where there were no tourists at all (excluding ourselves lol). Overall a lovely town.
I love Japan and have managed to wing it OK as a solo traveler, but it would have been great to have a guide like Yuri-chan show me the local favorites and smooth out the language challenges. I taught myself basic phrases before visiting but they get you only so far. On my next visit in 2025 I’ll be looking up Yuri-chan.
The first time I watched I only noticed the jacket and the camera when you showed yourself. I had to look a second time to notice the black skirt with the lace edges, as well as the black ribbon. I wonder what kind of top you are wearing? Anyway, great video again. Oh, about swimming: I was also bad at swimming. Getting water into my nose was the worst feeling. As I got more experienced, I learned some tricks. You can swim and keep your head over water all the time; it takes more energy, though. But you can also do a relaxing backstroke, and as long as you mostly keep air in your lungs, your face stays above water. You just have to exhale/inhale quickly, then pause a bit while holding the air in. And if you have to put your head under water, start by breathing out a bit to keep water out of your nose. Just note that your buoyancy depends upon the amount of air in your lungs. Even if you don't enjoy swimming, it's a good idea to learn how to stay alive in the water.
But wait a second, didnt you jump into a lake during your trip in the US and now you say you can't really swim? You seem to be very brave😅 I'm actually planning to visit Kamakura on my next trip to Japan in April 🤩
Are you wanting to be famous? Is this your entree to the idol life? It’s lovely to be young but ….. ???? So what should I do different after this ? Live in Kamakura with the elites and hippy children ?
I really appreciate your honesty and vulnerability in sharing your thoughts. Great video.
Thank you🙂↕️
