Casual tour of Japanese highways with me.
Good morning!
I just got back from a two-night, three-day trip to a hot spring inn called Daikon no Hana in Zao, and I’d like to share the details of my trip in a few posts!
Have you ever seen what Japan’s highways are like?
This drive took about 6-7 hours one way, and the tolls were over 9,000 yen...💦
It’s crazy, right!?
Unlike in the U.S., the highways are toll roads and pretty expensive, but there are a lot of services along the way☺️
I hope you all enjoy it!

Hi Yuri-Chan, I love these chill chats, it’s far from boring. Listening to your thoughts/feelings and experiences is inspiring and helpful to me and others too I am guessing. I want to say you have great fashion and I appreciate your strength to reach out through this medium where we can interact with you. Oh I’m more of a mountains guy 😆 too many sharks here in Australia 😂

Most restaurants offer free water and ice with a cup in the U S A. With Starbucks, that's an excellent way to get around giving them money.

Hi Yuri! Stumbled across your channel and before I knew it I was 15 minutes into your video hah. It's funny how we might speak different languages, live in different countries and yet still have the same thoughts like 2:35. Thank you for sharing!

One of the reasons why numerous foods in the US have so little flavor & so much salt, sugar, etc., in them is because our expanding US road culture forces stores to depend mainly on customers that drive instead of customers that walk. Driving customers have very different buying habits. Because the US is massive & drivers have to cover a lot of ground, they visit fewer stores & have less time. They're much more likely to buy processed food in larger quantities & store food for much longer time periods. Producers add a lot of salt, sugar, enriched flour, sweeteners, preservatives, antioxidants, etc., to their foods to prevent it from spoiling too quickly. Many food packages even have nitrogen in them to slow down the oxidation/aging process. It prevents a lot of food from being wasted, but it also means unhealthy American lifestyles, cancer risks, disease, etc. That's why Maruchan tasted so disappointing when you visited the US most likely.

Thank you for explaining in detail! I see!!! That strange taste might indeed have been due to additives🙂‍↕️

I follow a few woman on social media who are into the fashion scene in the Tokyo area and "Jirai-kei" is one of the styles a couple of them like. One is very much oshi-katsu too. That is how I learned about this segment of Japanese society. Wanted to move to Japan to work but am considered too old to work. Moving elsewhere but will be able to save up money to spend a good amount of time as a visitor in Kanto. I will have to look you up for guide services since I am not really into the touristy areas but everyday Japan is my thing. Love the ocean and Japan in general.

I have a closer friend in Osaka. He has taken me and my wife everywhere in Japan. Tourist areas and not tourist areas. He is part time tour guide. I love Japan...I know is hard there for many working so much....but the place is more organized compare to the US. As you can see...also big fan of Ultraman. haha. Good video. BTW....for swimming....maybe you learned the wrong way. Main thing if you have to swim..is to go from one end to the other. Assuming is short distance. There are ways to keep your head above water and not having to worry too much about breathing. Just a thought. Will subscribe to see what else you will officer. Domo-Arigato.✌
