    I definitely have the issue of wanting to wear baggy or oversize clothes so I don't want to make everyone look at my chest. I really love the look of tent and babydoll clothes, but am an hourglass, so it definitely makes me look 30 pounds heavier. Plus, I've got a 34DD chest, so ... definitely doesn't do me any favors. But I love it! it's so sad :(

    I love that you mentioned the importance of great bras AND not going to Victoria Secret to get sized (they will lie about your size just to sell bras). For women with large chests and smaller rib cages, I highly recommend Freya bras. They go down to 28 size band and go into K-sized cups. It's a life changer. Plus they're really cute and have fun prints - not just beige.

      "Fun prints and not just beige" is a minus for me. It's so hard to find a nice beige bra. All of them are "fun prints", laces, shiny material, etc. It's impossible to wear them with a basic white t-shirt.

    Thanks for this video. Most people don't know how difficult it is to be petite with large bust. I am the worst combination of all: petite, large bust, apple shape, curvy.
    Shopping for ANY style of clothing is a complete nightmare. It has made me hate shopping and I never want to go out because it requires dressing up or looking nice. Everything is a challenge. Your videos have helped improve my decisions on some of the pieces I buy. I will continue watching!

      With great respect, I have a similar shape. Try to find the positive aspects to focus on. Look at how many women pay lots of money and endure surgery to get bigger breasts. They wish they had what you and I naturally have. I'm working on slimming down. A little self-love can go along way. I'm watching my negative self-talk as well. With great respect.

      @@judiko142 Thank you so for your kind words/advice. I am trying to love my body again. It takes time. The large breasts are just uncomfortable at this point. I am looking into reduction surgery to be honest. It hurts my back terribly. I have also been on a weightloss journey. I am half-way to my goal. So far I am already feeling much more confident in my clothes. But, you are right. It is all about appreciating what you have.

    • @pennycandyys
      @pennycandyys 3 роки тому +4

      I have considered breast-reduction surgery as well, but it turns out I actually scar. Not keloid, but hypertrophic. So the scars really show up (I’m pale). I also always keep in mind some wise words from Jamie Lee Curtis, something like fixing things doesn’t always fix things. And if you look at other stars her she, you can see that she was right. So I’m trying to lose a bit of weight so I’m happier with my size, and I’m trying to be nicer to myself. I hope anyone who’s reading this will too. ❤️

    Well done! From a petite 5'3" girl with a 32DDD bust you got everything spot on in my books. I hate high waisted pants because I end up with no torso, V-necks and scoop-necks are the only t-shirts I wear and even though I wear dress shirts they nearly all have hidden pins between the buttons where my boobs are. Of course, bra selection is the key to everything.

    This is the best video I have ever seen to address this body type and considerations that come with it. It frustrates me when channels only recognize short torso with long legs or long torso with short legs. It really does feel like being a busty petite combines the struggles of both those worlds. People like me may have a long torso, but 70% of it is taken up by my boobs. So I end up feeling like I have virtually no space on the top or the bottom. Please release more content for our shape. I think your ability to provide such specific insights to a body type that is not yours only demonstrates how smart and flexible you are at what you do.

      Hi Ashley! For us apple (I'm one too), the important thing is to define waist without drawing too much attention to the belly, so that means lower necklines are flattering (accentuate our chest), and wearing a dress (]draw attention to our legs!).

Even if it just fits what if someone wants to wear a sweater under that coat? No room. Even when I was just a size 8, I never had pipe cleaner size arms. I do weights to tone my arms so there's muscles, do manufactures forget that? lol*

    So lovely, thank you for helping us! For your viewers, don’t want to iron? For instance baggy T Shirt? Fill spray bottle with water, spray hanging T Shirt (or other clothing item) with it, smooth with hand, leave hanging to dry. Follow same procedure for slightly wrinkly coming out of dryer. Quite wrinkly? Spray more and throw in dryer with same coloured towel on lower heat. Still wrinkly? Spray again, and smooth. Stroll wrinkly? Iron, lol, or ignore cause you’ve run out of time, lol. Best to get prepared night before. Hope this helps 😉😘

    I am two dress sizes larger on the top than on my bottom. Dresses and tailored coats are impossible to find. I find that a loose top in a fine/light fabric that drapes well is forgiving but you must wear something very streamlined on the bottom eg a hobble skirt or Capri pants. Seeing the narrow bottom, gives the effect that your whole body is that shape but the top looks bigger because of the extra fabric. Any sort of opaque chiffon or silk works wonders. I always go darker on my top....in fact, I usually wear monochrome. That works.

    Victoria's Secret put me in bras that were too small because I'm a petite. I was wearing a 34b for a long time, but it soon didn't fit anymore. The store tried putting me into an A cup when an A doesn't fit me. (I don't shop at VS anymore). It's like people don't assume petite women can be curvy. I'm more bottom heavy so maybe that's why VS did that to me.

On the heels of the deleted Instagram and scam website discoveries, this is a hard blow, however; you found the inner wherewithall to keep going. May you have some peace and comfort, for your Dad is still cheering you on, just from high above. He is always near. Death is only a horizon.....love is eternal and will always bridge it.

    Great tips. My chest-waist-hip proportions would look great if I were 3" taller, but I'm not! It can be hard to find things that are flattering. Some of these tips I'd already figured out -- v-necks all the way! But some were new. Thanks.

    Really great tips, thank you! Especially the one about dress shirts with buttons. I have a really hard time finding a good one
    I do think there are some exceptions I have noticed though and maybe you can talk about these. For instance, I sometimes wear paper bag pants but I have longer torso and short legs and I try to wear the pants with monochromatic colors. Then it looks okay.
    Also, I was wondering if wearing black is also a good option/tip for petite with large bust. Sometimes I can wear turtle neck but only if it's black. And then my bust looks less prominent.
    Also do you have tips about vertical lines or prints? And types of materials? I feel bulky with some materials. Please more videos about petite women with large bust and not flat tummy. Thank you!

      Yes, if you have long torso and short legs (I have the same) - paper bag pants do work much better than girls with shorter torso.

    This is extremely relatable because I never understood why paperbag pants didn't suit me ever.

    The best bra is unlined and half corset type of shape. I've found it works best. Heavy padding or padded, or thin straps, do not hold well and feels like it will pop up

    Just found your video! I am 5”2 and have a very large boobs 38DD. I don’t have a slim waist either so finding anything to wear is very difficult without looking larger and frumpy 😩. Since pandemic I just gave up on trying to dress up.

    I haven't noticed you mentioning that many large bust brands don't offer smaller band sizes. As a petite woman, this is frustrating. You mentioned Third Love - they don't carry 28 and 30 bands in larger cup sizes.

    Some people are saying they have a big bust at DD/DDD.
    Can I have a shout of to my ladies who are G+ in UK/Aus and J+ in the US?
    It's a whole other challenge! I'm in Melbourne and only David Jones has 32HH in stock, and Brava will order it in for me / post to me. That's for Elomi brand.
    Freya and Curvy Kate are great too.
    I'm sure it's hard selling bras, having to stock so many sizes for each design. I hate ordering online, even if they have free exchange. It's so much easier to drive to a stir and spend 2 hours trying everything on.

    Wow! So helpful! What about graphic t-shirts? Sometimes, when part of a group or team they buy these team shirts. Or your company has a polo shirt to wear on “team” days. How can you make this work?

    • @melblue107
      @melblue107 3 роки тому +3

      take in the sides of the polo so it has more of a flare shape at the hips. it will look much more flattering.
