Great video! I'm a 32DDD/F and it can be really hard for me to find tops and dresses. Apparently small people are not supposed to have big boobs. I also have to buy separates because I need a medium/large top and a small bottom. Items can be too long in the shoulders. Sleeveless tops I can have the straps shortened, but I don't mess with trying to alter ones with sleeves. If you have a large bust, wearing tops that have a ruffle/butterfly/poofy sleeve or shoulder pads will add balance and look really flattering. Showing some skin up top with a scoop neck or V-neck helps. If you wear a crew neck adding a necklace breaks up the large chest area. I love watching Chi and MM Personal Styling. "Apparently small people are not supposed to have big boobs." THIS! This is why it's impossible for me to find button front shirts that fit right, especially over my chest

Please could you do a video about clothing for this body shape in winter . E.g. How to find fashionable coats that are warm but suit petite women with bigger bust How to keep warm and be stylish
I usually have to size up in a coat (36E here), but I try to find the ones (especially for my heavy coats) that either are belted or have that little pull string that cinches in the waist. Otherwise I look like Pillsbury doughboy. The other thing that’s nice about that pull string is that if you gain or lose a bit of weight, it’s very forgiving. The absolute worst tops for me are peasant tops. All that gathering and round neck makes me look huge, and if I belt it, there’s just so much extra fabric there.
"...tops tend to look shorter on you." YES! Finally someone realizes this. I'm 5'3" and a 36DDD. Aside from tunic style tops, I'm constantly having to pull down my shirts.
Yes! It sort of works for me because I’m also short-waisted, so it pulls the waistline up where it should be. The “sort of” is that it doesn’t do the same for the back, so there are some unpleasant wrinkles and ride up as the back gets pulled up and towards the front.
I love Wendy!!! Yes, I, too, with a well-endowed bust, have experienced all of those difficulties. Summer is hard when you want to wear a 👕 T-shirt. It is a definite balancing act trying to dress for corporate and cover up but not look heavier. Love this channel ❤️
Wonderful video! I am 5'2" a 34G with a 29 inch waist. My torso is really short and I can't wear baggy t-shirts, thick sweaters or anything high necked as it makes me look very bulky and wide. Your suggestions worked beautifully and I feel so much more confident about how I look. Also your clothing is absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much!
This is really helpful! Thank you for sharing! Basically I find that a lot of clothes will easily make me look heavier or make me look provocative if I try something more fitting. The real struggle is with shirts & dresses that have buttons, getting the right size that fits our shoulder right but our ladies don't pop out 😅 I mean.... What's a girl to do 😅
I just go for the bigger size and take in the sides below the bust. Strain lines and gaping buttons only make a larger bust look bigger and it looks cheap. I’ve given up on getting a good shoulder fit and a full-enough bust, it’s just not going to happen unless I go custom-made. Look for tops with bust darts or waist shaping, too, they usually fit a lot better. Most shirts are made flat-fronted, like men’s, there’s no way they’ll work on our curves. Right now H&M has a blue and white striped cotton shirt that has darts above and below the waist, it works pretty well as it “opens out” in the bust area and it is only about $25 or so.🙂
Great points! I just wear the. Chunkier sweaters. It has been so cold un southeast Texas. I am 4'-11" and a 36D. When I was younger style was the thing so I would just wear something flattering and just freeze if my jacket was not flattering or match the outfit. Now at 54 I just go with looking frumpy. I am ok with it. I want to be comfortable.
I'm 160cm 23F hourglass, pretty much her exact figure in the video, with no idea about my chest size really, but you're a life savior, I have a relatively big chest and everyone says I should be happy but I'm so self conscious about it that I literally wear nothing but sports bras that hide them more and I curve my posture so that they don't show, now I feel like I can actually dress nicely without making everyone stare, thank you!!!

Thank you so much for this video. Although I am 5'6 and not that short, I am a 34 G and have always struggled with shirts and dresses. This has definitely helped me gain a better understanding of what might look best on me. Thank you!
Raglan and dolman sleeves have always been on my Don’t Buy list, they just add unwanted bulk to the bust area and make a short waist look even shorter, by making it look wider. I think a fitted, but not tight, cut is best for sweaters for those with fuller arms and bust. We all need long sleeves for cold weather, but I would rather layer a thin sweater over a shirt or other thin top than wear one of those bulky, thick, big sweaters. It also helps to have a choice if going indoors, I can remove the sweater if it’s too hot indoors. In my mild California climate, most people overreact to temps in the mid-60sF, and blast the heat to 75 or 80F, instead of just wearing long sleeves or layers, then the rest of us are miserably hot. I love a long-sleeved silk shirt or silk tee as a first layer under sweaters, I rarely overheat or get sweaty in them, once my outer wool or cashmere sweater is removed. If a thick, hot sweater is worn right over a bra, it can’t be removed in public, obviously.
Thank you, it was very helpful! My bust size is saggy 80I, my waist is slim with long torso and a little bit of tummy fat. Add short legs, wide hips and pancake butt, and my body looks so disproportional in every outfit, I almost gave up at finding anything fitting my strange frame, let alone flattering. Thank you soo much... No one talks about the hardships of being short and having fuller chest area and if I wear high rise... It's a disaster.. looks like two apples on a small tree.. 😞 I found mid rise jeans along with your tips go well for casual look

Very helpful to know what to wear to make busts look even bigger. Most of the “No’s” were a yes since my wife wants to maximize her 36DDD bust without hiding her slim waist and 125lb body.
Wow, Wendy has the same body-shape/type as me (narrow waist-big bust) 🤗 Yup, no more bulky turtle neck sweaters in winter 😝 Looove V-necks now 🤗 Thank you for this video!
Thats me too, 5"1'&1/2. Big bust and short waisted, and a square hips. Struggle is real in finding the best fitting clothes in a place where almost all clothes being sold is made for skinny people or even for heavier people but with no shapes.. Wrap top, peplum top, princess cut, and a-line worked for me, other than that i dont know what else may look good on me. Also as a short waisted lady, sometimes its tricky to style with waist belt because my front view will look boxy
As a tall (180cm) hourglass with big bust, i love pairing puffy OR wide(not both at once) but at the same time cropped sweaters with extra-high rise jeans. It gives me much more light look than normal-lendth sweaters,
As a girl who ticks all these boxes, I find wearing sleeveless tops is more flattering than tops with sleeves or it just adds more fabric at the chest area overall.
Chi, a problem I’ve noticed is the dolman sleeve trend ~ it’s EVERYWHERE! Can you address these vs set in sleeves or ~ my fave! ~ ragland? Thanks! Also, do you know who makes the black bra you featured? It looks super comfortable/supportive AND so beautiful. Also interested in the high-waisted red top. Thanks again!
Great video! Now my question is, what is the best bra to use if you have a big bust like Wendy? Bra with underwire or without underwire? Specially, what brand bra and style is using Wendy in the video?
Thank for this video! I am just like your model but I am 5’5” and do have hard time finding clothes that look good with my 34DD bust. Please make more videos addressing this problem ❤
I agree but I have a big bust and am short waisted with a little tummy. So tucking in shirts just makes me look more busty and top heavy. Have you done any videos on this?
5,4 and 32H here. Do you have any suggessions for the girls who are in colder countries? It is easy to say "don't wear chunky clothes" and I wouldn't do but .... How to make ot work when it is minus 10 or even colder?
Several thinner layers. Maybe a thermal layer, then form fitting sweater, with a form fitting coat over it. This keeps you warmer than one or two chunky layers anyway.
Hey chi.. i am 5'2"... heavily busted n also ve a bit of belly fat... Could you suggest dressing ideas for me .. Also are kaftans good choice for my body type???
Probably the most important thing if you have a bigger bust is to get properly fitted for a bra. The +4 method is outdated and a disaster for petite women with larger busts. There is no way this model is a 36D. I would guess that her band is closer to a 32 and her cup size is several sizes larger than a D.
I’m a (natural) 36 E, too, and can second that, how difficult it is to find clothes that fit my bust. I’m petite and have a small, delicate frame, so if I size up, as I must, in tops, jackets and dresses, the shoulders are always too big for me, the neckline is too low and/or wide, the sleeves too long, and there’s too much fabric around my middle and hips. I get so tired of having to take everything in in the sides and shorten them, and usually I can’t narrow the shoulders without re-making the garment completely. For simple, collarless tops, sometimes simple darts in the back neckline, above the shoulder blades, can make them modest enough to wear, I don’t want to show any cleavage, my bust has always received more unwanted male staring without deliberately inviting more, especially when I was younger and also had a very slim waist (I don’t now). Some men at the office always talked to my bustline, not my face and one creepy colleague even asked me what bra size I wore! The first time I met one internet date, he walked toward me, eyes you know where, with both hands outstretched as if to grab them and said “Wow, are you a D cup!?”. Disgusted completely, I got rid of him as fast as I could, and that was our last date. I’m an interesting and kind person, not just a pair of boobs for male titillation!
Finally understood why many of my clothes were not fitting me properly. I was doing all these mistakes, I wanted to pull so many outfits that look great on my sister but we totally different bodies
I'm 5'3 and usually don't appear petite. When trying to look casual, my superheavy curve just eat the illusion: wider hips, big booty plus big cups make it so hard😢
No fashion channel ever addresses this, it’s all front tuck, side tuck, belts. Not every hourglass or big busted women has washboard abs. I’m 110 pounds and five feet tall and I still have a tummy. Sigh.
I struggle with all lower necklines, even in petite ranges, especially square necklines which are my fav. They are always too low for very petite woman with a larger bust :-(
I've known for years that lower necklines suit me, but try finding them in British shops! My whole wardrobe is a compromise because I can't find clothes that suit me.
What do you suggest for having permanent-headlights/visible nipples? Unless I wear fully-padded bras (I am small-chested, but I'm checking out a lot of your videos), they're very noticeable. Even with heavily-padded bras, they're sometimes visible. Being smaller-busted, I don't need a bra *except* for nip-modesty for unpatterned clothes. Help?
Im 5’1” and my boobs take up all my torso, so anything with a belt or mid seam do not work for me, I would have to get everything altered. And don’t have the extra money to do that with everything.
I would love tips on how to dress feminine and cute with a large bust, because I always feel vulgar with cleavage, seems like girls with big bust can only be sexy :( I want to look sweet and cute not sexy :( that's how I always end up like all the donts on this video :(
thanks but no it makes everything too much fitted and it does bring attention on all the curves, i am not comfortable passing through an open with an eva mendes style like this

I have Wendy's figure and height. I struggle so much with clothing including with a bigger bust. The video was really helpful :)
Glad it was helpful!
Thank for this video! I am just like your model but I am 5’5” and do have hard time finding clothes that look good with my 34DD bust.
Please make more videos addressing this problem ❤
Chi, I love you! Your tips actually work for me!
Yaaaaay! So glad to hear that ❤️❤️
This is so helpful! I’ll have to start decluttering my closet now 😅
Yeeeey thank you so much! ❤️
I wish someone had told me that in my early twenties.
Me too!!
Extremely helpful Chi!!! ❤ Thank you for this!
You're so welcome!
I needed this video, thank you so much!!!
You are so welcome! ❤️
I am tall girl but this video has helped me alottt thanks for simplifying my life❤
Thank you Chi 🙂
Any time! ❤️
Hi there. Thanks for the awesome video and sharing your knowledge to help us short people. Judy
Dank je wel voor de tips, ik ga er nog meer op letten, groeten uit Nederland
Shopping in Japan is a nightmare because of this. Things I REALLY LOVE I simply can not wear.
Thank you for this video. I'm top heavy and I really do have trouble picking the right tops. I'm 5 foot one with the apple body type.
You're welcome! ❣️
I agree but I have a big bust and am short waisted with a little tummy. So tucking in shirts just makes me look more busty and top heavy. Have you done any videos on this?
SAME! No one addresses tummies, sometimes I think I must be the only woman that doesn’t have a 6 pack.
Peplums maybe? Just trying to come up with ideas for you haha
@@kimbrolyy that’s a good idea if the start at the right spot and are long enough.
@@michelleisabel that’s the truth!
@@kimbrolyy For me peplums make more "tenty" look and the feeling of more tummy than just with simple tuck.
More more more please!! I need this!!
Excellent!! this is what I was waiting for... Thanks so much!! ❤
You are so welcome! ❣️❣️
💯 I love your channel
I appreciate this! Thank you! ❤️
Great, thank you.
Please share the details for the v neck blouse at 4:18 I really need this in my life! ❤
Yes, please share!!
Please share blouse at 2:15 (coral/red)
Looks like we just have to freeze with those thin knits instead of chunky sweaters 😂
I'm short and have a big bust but i also have a tummy.. Anything for that?
Me too. Belts look terrible. Fitted low neck tunics with shoulder pads work over wide pants.
Same here sis😢
What if you have a short waistline and big belly
Hey chi.. i am 5'2"... heavily busted n also ve a bit of belly fat...
I am 32H, and I think she tends to be like that or near.
I thought she said 36B. She looks my size and that’s my size.
My life!
Omg. Yeah still so many problems. 5', but 30e bust. So challenging even with the items mentioned in this video.
I can feel your pain with my 32G!!!
I can relate. So annoying to have men’s eyes keep traveling down. Saving that for the hubs.
Finally understood why many of my clothes were not fitting me properly. I was doing all these mistakes, I wanted to pull so many outfits that look great on my sister but we totally different bodies
Thank you very very much 😊
You are so welcome! ❣️
Apparently busty girls are destined to freeze in winter. 😂
Ahhh finally with the same thoughts! Need to layer from September till April... Need my turtle neck and chunky clothes!
I'm 5'3 and usually don't appear petite. When trying to look casual, my superheavy curve just eat the illusion: wider hips, big booty plus big cups make it so hard😢
I wish I could tuck in, but my belly is also my problem😢
No fashion channel ever addresses this, it’s all front tuck, side tuck, belts. Not every hourglass or big busted women has washboard abs. I’m 110 pounds and five feet tall and I still have a tummy. Sigh.
Ahhh yeah!!!
Omg! I have the same problem 😢
Same!
Fantastic video!!
Thank you very much! ❤️
Great content.
Thank you! ❤️
I’m 5’5” & have a big bust & half the battle is making sure you have a good bra. Empire waists are good.
I struggle with all lower necklines, even in petite ranges, especially square necklines which are my fav. They are always too low for very petite woman with a larger bust :-(
Define waistline
Belt
Fitted top
I've known for years that lower necklines suit me, but try finding them in British shops! My whole wardrobe is a compromise because I can't find clothes that suit me.
I m petite overwight hourglass with tummy fat arm fat this video help a lot
Glad this was helpful! ❣️
Help?
Hi Chi, I'm 5 feet tall. How can I order clothes from your clothing line. Please let me know. Thanks
Hi Veronica! You can check us out at www.petitedressing.com ❣️
4:25 is the blouse on the right available on your store?
What if I have big bust AND big thigh + hips? And I'm not comfortable having attention to these parts. :(
In such agreement....
😊
Your videos are amazing! Could you do an petite pear bikini video in the future? Can’t find anything that looks good….
Im 5’1” and my boobs take up all my torso, so anything with a belt or mid seam do not work for me, I would have to get everything altered. And don’t have the extra money to do that with everything.
I hate to break it to ya sarks but I’ll be giving the blouses a miss this season, don’t wanna be drawing unnecessary attention to myself 😤😤😤
❤
I would love tips on how to dress feminine and cute with a large bust, because I always feel vulgar with cleavage, seems like girls with big bust can only be sexy :( I want to look sweet and cute not sexy :( that's how I always end up like all the donts on this video :(
🙏👍
thanks but no it makes everything too much fitted and it does bring attention on all the curves, i am not comfortable passing through
an open with an eva mendes style like this
Came here to cry about my 5ft and 32C but after reading all comments, I think I better shut up.
Chi, I love all your video. You are really a life changer. My closet now looks better than ever.
I have full bust full butoocks and a slim waist 😮
I'm 5'1 size 12 32F breasts 😂
It's like panty line. When you can see bra line, just doesn't work 🎉
