We are still waiting for the Razer Nommo Pro to finally release. But while Razer has been taking their sweet time, Logitech announced and released their G560 gaming speaker set up. The G560 took a very different approach to their RGB lighting and if you have the proper gaming set up then it truly is much more impressive than the color changing base on the Razer Nommo Chroma and Nommo Pro. And the Logitech G560 are so good I'm finding it truly hard to pay double for the still yet to have to be released Razer Nommo Pro.

Not sure what you meant by "never really need to go past 75% volume on the G560." Pretty sure even Satan could hear it from hell at 30% volume.
If you update to the latest Firmware, the volume smoothens a lot and it actually reduces too much. I used to listen to it at 12 before the update, now 40 is the new 12. :)

Yeah I used to have them and thought they were great. I upgraded to the Logitech ones and now I see the razor ones aren't even close to as good

I got the razer’s a few years back cause I had other Razer stuff but I still rock them cause they get the job done. Personally have another audio setup for when I really want to listen to high fidelity audio

I'll admit I'm an absolute Razer fan boy, my first gaming periphs back in the day were Razer and I've always stuck to them, but I will also admit that Logitech ALWAYS had superior speakers. I still to this day use Logi speakers, even when I love the Nommo design and RGB. Maybe the Nommo Pro will be excellent, but the $200 price tag with the sound you get, it's hard to beat Logi. Always has been.

My lighting failed on it and the speakers are no longer recognized by the GHub software. Speakers and USB work, but I lost all customization and audio settings with it after 6 months of use.
Razer have way better sound,and cost lower, than this model Logitech.
Logitech sound like you sit in a close barrel,it have echo,quet sound and sound like a cheap ones.
And looks also wery easy and cheap.

JBFro well you also got to think it depends on the mics he is using. Bass is always hard to get clear on mics, because the mics don't realize the highs or mids.
@jbfro the only reason his sounded that way, was because he had the bass all the way up. it was merely to show off the pounding the bass does. i assure you. logitech speakers are nice and crisp.

aarr1n of course. I've heard Klipsch, Bose, Logitech, Sony, lg, and some other brands.
Just up the treble slider on the g560 to +3 and you will get good mids and highs through all the bass. It's the best of both worlds.

i think the reason why the logitechs sound more muffled in this video is because of the recording method. I've seen other recordings that clearly sound much more clearer. The bass completely muffles everything in the microphone that is used here.
@@toppcatt5113 yeah true. But that's not very strange for the build type that Razer went for. However, the g560's offer a lot more for about the same price. And you can always tweak sound.
All i can say for the g560's is that they are very very solid for the price. And the screen sampling lighting is a great addition (next to the other options)
I know the razer's sound pretty decent. But for the total package it offers i rather go to logitech on this one. I own the g560's myself now too.
If you are a real razer fan and you really want it on your desk i'd say go for it. Can't go wrong with it.
I do have other razer items myself as well. But the nommo's just didn't make the cut for me. Neither the nommo pro, since it doesn't have the same lighting options.
but to each their own. Especially sound is very very subjective to anyone. One person says it's shite, while the next says it's great.
@@toppcatt5113 yeah, if it is just the sound you're after those are fine. I also wanted sound with a more complete spectrum. Don't really need the super high precision / fidelity. And the lighting was a total sell point for me. I bought it in returned retail packaging which made it at least 50 euro's cheaper for me at the time. (About 70-60 dollars or so? Don't know the current currency atm).
Fair warning: emulated surround sound from almost every 2.1 sounds muddy to me and very unconvincing. G560's not excluded. This was definitely not a reason for me to switch over to these. But more compact, still powerful and fun rgb options.
Hope you can find the right system for your own requirements.

Katana is much clearer, the G560 doesn’t sound very good in comparison. It doesn’t even sound better than the Nommo, apart from having a lot more bass.
I got the g560 since I live in a house so basically fuck my family well my room is in the third floor and everyone else is in the second floor so it probably wont be so annoying

I bought the g560 yesterday for 175 after tax. Got em all setup and running. Threw a nice eq on em and they sound amazing. Can feel the bass from across the house.

Razer is obviously exceptional - they provide non masked, non muddy informative sound. Non pro version has limited base, but again, razers provide space information. Logs here are boomy, thats all

Logitech would be better if they fixed the software with GHUB and the g560s so they’d work to the extent they’re advertised at.
The G560 sounds better but somewhat muddy, The Nommo sounds more clear but the bass isn't that nice on the G560's but they both sound amazing to me, The Nommo is more a responsible option and the G560 is great for a big bass.
Download equalizer apo and peace, it fixes the bass

Massimo De Grazia I ended up getting the Razers with the intention of returning them if I didn't like them, but let me tell you they are some good ass speakers and can get really loud without distorting sound quality. I was going to try the Kato YU2 , Edifier Luna eclipse, or Mackie CR3 but the Razers sound really good

Can the lighting be set separately between left and right speaker? Clockwise for left speaker and counter- clockwise for right speaker. Looks better that way instead of both clockwise or both counter- clockwise.

Say what you want about Logitech but they know how to draw to their audience! I use a very very old Logi 2 speaker/woof setup, they're so old they look like the original 1.0 version of the Z213 setup they still sell today! They're not sleek or stylish but they still bump, look good and I'm sad to be doing away with them but I need the BT abilities!

I am interested in those speakers, but something that comes up in my mind is if I save some eq via USB and the app, does that eq have effect on playing them only through 3.5mm jack or Bluetooth? Or does it reset all after unplugging from the pc. I was thinking of using them as TV/entertainment speakers in the man cave

The default flat mode on Logitech is distorted. If you change it to the cinematic gaming it's way better. Like I was a audiophile years ago then stopped caring as much but I still notice differences in sound immediately. I bought the G560 and was disappointed personally on initial use and said whatever. i just needed to stop using giant speakers on my PC setup. But then I went into the software and changed it and legit the speakers are legit amazing sounding. . Bass is clean and such. I keep seeing people using the flat and trying to adjusting when it's not good period.

Denk van niet, ik heb de chroma bij Mediamarkt voor 150 gezien en de G560 voor 300, je betaalt in Nederland de dubbele prijs de normale zonder RGB zijn 100. Tot conclusie zijn het allbei prachtige speakers maar in Nederland zijn de prijzen raar, ik denk dat je beter af bent met de Nommo (Chroma of niet)

Razer acquired THX so they're no sucker in the business of audio but the Logitech speakers for me provide a fuller sound. Overall, go with the speaker that your other peripherals match with and what looks good in your setup.
