I got these for 7 bucks at a goodwill the same month they released but I'm trying to figure out how to use it without USB, like connect it to my switch for something :
When I want to know about the latest tech in the market I always come here because it has everything (style, good edition, nice narration and on point etc) you sir never disappoint.
I got them and I absolutely love it. Have a decent room 20x20 and these speakers make watching game of thrones epic. music sounds so nice and crisp. after updating the sub woofer lost the extra punchy base and you can add more if you want but its a very balance sound now.
I love these things, really glad I bought them as I was talking myself out of it at first. The one thing I hope to see is the ability to change each color zone a different color. When the RGB software has a "hiccup" as I call it the left speakers' 2 zones alternate between different colors and it looks awesome! Not sure why it's not an option from the start, or at the very least the ability to change each zone independently. Love the vids, Frank!
I am considering to get the Logitec G560 for my gaming setup. Because I have a light form of tinnitus(constant peep in ears), so I can't use headsets anymore as it will damage my ears more. I did some research and it looks like these would be perfect for gaming in my situation. But I also need good sound quality for editing. So I was wondering if you got an idea about how good they are for video creation. Would love to hear some info on it!
Admittedly, I haven't heard these speakers but I find it very hard to see how these would be better than a very good pair of bookshelf speakers you can easily find at this pricepoint.
I'm really confused in between the steel series arena 7 (2.1) and Logitech G560.. To me, after the sound quality, RGB matters the most, idk which has better light sync with movies/any videos
Using mine right now, still hits hard and loud, audio equipment rarely becomes outdated, some of the best mics, speakers and headphones available today came out a decade ago.
OMG, I just bought these speakers just after watching your review. They are amazing! The surround is incredible too! The only down side is the stupid sticker on the bass. It took me like 5 minutes taking it out.

Miguel Algaba After two years of having them I can say that the sound could be different from one brand to another. I would say that the best thing from these speakers is that they can be really loud if you want or need it, specially if you watch a videos or lectures where there is poor sound quality, so maybe these are for you. However, one thing that I found poor about it is that the music quality is no great compare with my Bose mini speakers that I have. I guess is the building structure of the speaker and cannot be adjust with a sound card. So if I want to enjoy music and relax, I turn my Bose on, but if I want to do something else, these Logitec G560 are a great option.
Could you please compare this ones with the older ones Z625? Like which is more powerfull which has more base or better highs and lows.Obviously doesn't need to be a pure specifications review but I would like to see a indeped review between them.
I just picked them up for $149.99!!! I can't wait to try them out, I've been Gaming on my PC with a old and outdated AF Panasonic Home Theater system, it's got the job done but I KNOW there are way better choices for my needs and this one, for now, will cover them! Eventually I'd like some HS7's mounted onto the wall beside my Ultrawide but for now I'm Gucci.
I have had these speakers for the better part of 2 weeks, and I have to say they're not as good as Frank suggests. The Light-Sync ability only works well if the game is supported, if the game is not supported, then you must change the settings to borderless mode, which impacts performance a great deal, and even then, the Light-Sync ability looks and feels out-of-sync with what's on the screen. I am not saying these speakers aren't worth it, I am still using mine! But until more games are supported, the main feature of these speakers is essentially locked away.
AtomicNitro9000 When playing PUBG at fullscreen = 80-90fps, and playing PUBG at windowed borderless mode = 40-50fps. When playing The Witcher 3 at fullscreen = 100-110fps, and playing The Witcher 3 at windowed borderless mode = 60-70fps. When playing Wildlands at fullscreen = 50-60fps, and playing Wildlands at windowed borderless mode = 30-45fps. I also tested these findings on a friends new custom built computer and a loss of frames was also noticeable.
I ended up returning mine. If connected through USB, even with the volume at 2/100 in WIndows, the speakers were loud AF and base was way too loud. The sound leveled out after going over 20/100 but that was way too. The software and light-sync is also buggy as hell.
I don't have problem with borderless, played that forever, but I just got these and it feels like the light is a good 1-2 seconds out of sync, and more often than not it spits out lights that are only a fraction of the screen. 90% green, 5% red and it spits red on the wall, like why? The sound is TERRIBLE, just terrible.
I and my colleagues from work, we have check'd many computer speakers for example: Razer Nommo Chroma Speakers , Logitech G560 , other different speakers. We selected one: Sound blaster X katana. I bought this mini but powerfull soundbar and I'm happy with them.
Got these speakers a week ago, well worth the price. For a person that likes bass in my audio, I felt like it was a little much, but fixed it using the equalizer.
I was about to buy these, then I had the opportunity to hear them so I got Nommo Pros. They're not bad, but they don't sound like quality. I kinda miss the lighting effect, but at least Nommos can synchronize with the blackwidow elite
I have these for my PC set up, and surround sound speakers for my consoles. Clearly they're not going to match the sound of the surround sound, but there still pretty good! And the glow at night, going along with my music, is a nice touch :)
It depends what you want, what kind of switches do you want Romer-G from Logitech or Razer's test them out and also what do you think that'll match your setup etc etc cant really go wrong with either i'd personally go for g513 since i like it more but personal preference
I was so hyped for these, bought them, 2 weeks in, worst speakers I've owned. Sound is crisp, but the bass is just okay; a bit muddy, but that's about all it has going for it. Yes, the RGB is beautiful... when it works. A few weeks in, the RGB would randomly shut off. Reinstalling software and drivers would fix it, but only for a short period. The live desktop feature is lacking. Likely because it is sending the signal from USB to sub, then sub to VGA. Since not many (current) games are supported (red flag), you have to opt-in for the live desktop feature and it is just not synced well. The delay is highly noticeable and it just frustrated the heck out of me. Then let's get into the software and drivers. One word, "garbage." The drivers are sh*t, and it kind of breaks when attempting to play games that naturally ask for 5.1 and higher. Even with a digitally faux surround, you lose bits of complete dialogue in games like Fallout and Farcry. Even when tweaking audio settings in Windows, the Logitech drivers will keep recognizing output as 7.1 and won't disperse that sound properly into a 2.1. When gaming, I basically had to toss on my wireless Corsair headset, as it actually plays digital 7.1 clearly and properly. This issue is known within the Logitech forums, yet Logi has yet to find a fix, at least for Windows 10 users. Luckily, I purchased the $20 2yr no questions asked warranty from Microcenter, returned them, used the money on a mobo, and order some Edifier monitor speaks, which were a reasonable $100. I guess if I want RGB, I will look into the new Phillips Hue setup for gaming. I wouldn't recommend these speakers for any gamers. I was amazed for about 10 minutes until problem after unfixable problem kept popping up. I am not saying they won't work for you. The experience may differ. could depend on your mobo, soundcard, OS, whatever, but I am just giving you all a fair warning. Good luck.
I had exactly the same problems plus others. If you look online, they get a hell of a lot of bad user reviews. Totally not worth it. The implementation of RGB is actually kinda cool for once, but too many issues with the drivers and audio. I'm going to go for regular high quality speakers in future and not something for the 'gamer' market.
Great video! I ordered these Monday, but I have a Mac Studio. I haven't seen any video reviews where these are used with Mac. I've heard it's more limited...as far as settings and stuff.
I'm an audiophile, professional dj and gamer: after using these for 1 year I can guarantee you these are the best speakers out there for BRs, FPS, any game and even listening to music. You will unlock their full potential if you add a 7.1 amp soundcard such as SoundBlaster X G6. The sound these produce are like listening to the vmoda m100 headsets but in speakers: crystal clear highs, mids and very rich bass. Totally worth paying the ~ $350 they usually cost.
Thx for that great video, what amazing channel you have and also thx for you awesome review, thx to yoi i ve bought this speakers yesterday! Thx one more time and big huge from your Portugal subscriber
Hey @randomfrankp, i was wondering if this speaker works with a sceptre monitor- comes with audio out, audio in, vga. The monitor itself has built in speakers but im trying to top the sound up a bit. You think these speakers would work? By the way great vid!
What are the white speakers you have on your setup behind you? What mounts are you using and how do they work? Are they mounted to the wall or the back of the monitors?
Screen reactive RGB has been around for a while this is just streamlining the concept.....i wouldn't mix music on these but they do a good job for what they were designed for
I'm on a search for a new speaker and it finally came down to just the g560 and the Katana I've watched both of your reviews but still couldn't decide. My peripherals are all Logitech but my top priority for speakers is the sound quality only. Price, RGB, Brand asides which is better in terms of audio quality? and is it a minor or big difference? THANK YOU!!
Can these be used to tell directionality of sounds? i was born totally deaf in my right ear and partially deaf in my left and this puts me at a huge disadvantage against normally abled players when it comes to telling where an enemy is in games like pubg when they are in ur outside a building, shooting at me etc.
Sometimes I just sit on my couch grab a pickle, dill or sweet but it has to come out of a jar, and watch some UA-cam. I don't know why I commented this I just thought the internet should know... ^w^
I've been seeing people saying its glitchy from the software making it have no sounds or having to plug in and plug out to make it work again is this true? Or has it been fixed?
Speaking of that award you mentioned, why not make a stamp/award you give certain products you most certainly liked that almost are perfect in your eyes(so a award that is hard to earn but means its a really good product). Thanks for the vid, ordered myself a set ;)
Yo Frank I typically use my headphones when gaming because my setup is in my bedroom & I have a wife! LOL If I turn down the volume to almost 0 & have my audio coming from my headphones at night will I still be able to take advantage of the RGB effects?
idk why i like watching reviews of something that i just bought
I just did the same thing
Smooth flex
you need validation that you made the right choice lol
Haha, im buying it in 2 days, i like to watch reviews before i buy :)
I got these for 7 bucks at a goodwill the same month they released but I'm trying to figure out how to use it without USB, like connect it to my switch for something :
aw man i remember the videos when you were in your dorm room and stuff. Look at this now. amazing
I was so ready to buy this until you said $200
lol same but ill save up
It's worth it, I love mine!
Sameeee I got $30 ones rn XD
Kaelan Naseyowma yeah no, sound quality that doesn't exist. Only thing is rgb.. these are worth maybe 50€ lmao
Mystic_ 112 lol, cheapo. Sound quality is important
When I want to know about the latest tech in the market I always come here because it has everything (style, good edition, nice narration and on point etc) you sir never disappoint.
Daniel Gaviria And thats my reason that I do not watch him anymore.
Only tech he likes and the rest you mentoined.

Just LISTEN to to those RGB effects !
I think you forgot the red circles and arrows in the thumbnail. Oh yeah, don't forget the shocked expression XD
TBVG I’m not unbox therapy

randomfrankp or a Fortnite UA-camr lol. Great job as always, keep grinding 👍
randomfrankp o shit

When humans merge with machines and become cyborgs, I will be a RGB person
All of us brother, all of us
Cyberpunk should be like:
Pridebot
Admittedly, I haven't heard these speakers but I find it very hard to see how these would be better than a very good pair of bookshelf speakers you can easily find at this pricepoint.
Too many wires on those book shelf speakers and you need a sounds card. This works just with USB sound is way better plus the lighting.
I would still prefer a sound-test so I can hear relative to other sounds I hear through my speakers. Nice video though, thanks.
are they outdated in 2024 ?
Hell no, they are possibly the best I’ve had and I’ve been through a few
I'm really confused in between the steel series arena 7 (2.1) and Logitech G560..
To me, after the sound quality, RGB matters the most, idk which has better light sync with movies/any videos
@@art-ns9gw the z5500 are the best for the money u can get a good one for half the price of these but its 4x more powerfull 1010 watss
Using mine right now, still hits hard and loud, audio equipment rarely becomes outdated, some of the best mics, speakers and headphones available today came out a decade ago.
No
So glad you showed PUBG !! I just placed my order and can’t wait to get them in! Great review
Just bought these today and these speakers are the best speakers i have ever used, thanks for the review

got these yesterday. really impressed with them.
Uhh first 😉 jk. But seriously, these are amazing!! Like this video if you dig that RGB screen sampling effect!
first comment ;)
do you say the name of the mouse pad
i like it
how do these compare to the Creative BlasterX Katana ?????

I would love if they released these without the sub. I just never really had a need for a subwoofer.
One of the best reviews ever. Thank you. I am buying one right now.
-Lets cause some trouble...
*turns volume to 41%*
*and i oop*

Yeah they have bad reviews on Amazon!
IBradFrazer Borderless mode doesn't decrease performance that's just a myth, it's been disproven many times

Definitely on my Christmas/b-day wishlist
Got these speakers a week ago, well worth the price. For a person that likes bass in my audio, I felt like it was a little much, but fixed it using the equalizer.
the problem is there is no bass under 40hz so that "subwoofer" is more of a mid bass.
*I want real high quality sound, with good spectrum and bass.*
*If I wanted a freaking Christmas Tree I would buy one.*
Then why are you here...?
I bought these day one and loved it. Lightsync for me though is spotty
I was about to buy these, then I had the opportunity to hear them so I got Nommo Pros. They're not bad, but they don't sound like quality. I kinda miss the lighting effect, but at least Nommos can synchronize with the blackwidow elite

Can you do a comparison between the Logitech G513 vs the Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2
King XF not a hard pick... Blackwidow v2 for the win!
ImGoogle not compared to the G513

Thanks very helpful....Im picking them up when bestbuy tells me the order is ready.
Wow some modern looking speakers with color that I can consider replacing my JBL Creature II speakers from 2006 with

I'm looking forward to getting these & especially when they integrate OverWatch into the game list
Totally getting those
I have these and the Razer Chroma v2. I prefer the Razer speakers. They are much clearer and don't sound as muffled.
Great video! I ordered these Monday, but I have a Mac Studio. I haven't seen any video reviews where these are used with Mac. I've heard it's more limited...as far as settings and stuff.
RandomFrankP you literally reviewed my entire setup wish-list in the last 3 days, how are reading my mind lol

My favorite tech youtuber back at it again with the quality content! Liked the vid even before watching this
a year later how do you feel about these speakers verses anything that might have came out since
Thx for that great video, what amazing channel you have and also thx for you awesome review, thx to yoi i ve bought this speakers yesterday! Thx one more time and big huge from your Portugal subscriber

Just join vape nation
7:48 finally someone else thinks like me. never understood why people do the sound tests its limited by my current speakers and his mic
Great review. I think you should say more about the Bluetooth support, though because it looks like they did a great job with that as well.

Thank for 👏👏👏
Awesome videos frank! keep up the quality content
Rocking the Z5500. Still the best Logitech speakers ever made. Shame there no longer made.
What are the white speakers you have on your setup behind you? What mounts are you using and how do they work? Are they mounted to the wall or the back of the monitors?
Screen reactive RGB has been around for a while this is just streamlining the concept.....i wouldn't mix music on these but they do a good job for what they were designed for
Hope to see more product and presentation from him. My top 3 youtube subscribers.
Got these for Christmas :)
I'll stick with my current logi speakers 2.1 THX they sound great because to many lights put me off
Damn these are definitely worth it! Wouldn't have heard of them if it wasn't for you. Thanks Frank!
I’ve seen this title on your channel and introduction like 10 times lol
very useful video and best subject of gaming speaker!
I got these speakers for 7 bucks at goodwill the same month they released they are very good when im playing yakuza on my pc
Take a shot everytime he says "I'm telling you"
thanks for this, needed good speakers
I'm on a search for a new speaker and it finally came down to just the g560 and the Katana
I've watched both of your reviews but still couldn't decide.
My peripherals are all Logitech but my top priority for speakers is the sound quality only.
Price, RGB, Brand asides which is better in terms of audio quality? and is it a minor or big difference?
THANK YOU!!
Nice review, thanks
I thought that was the box for the subwoofer but it’s actually the unit itself wow 0:43
Thats really cool, maybe I'll check these out!
But in background , he has another speaker Lol.
My first thought exactly
a 250 dollar gaming speaker setup can't replace actual studio monitors.
Great content as always!
Can these be used to tell directionality of sounds? i was born totally deaf in my right ear and partially deaf in my left and this puts me at a huge disadvantage against normally abled players when it comes to telling where an enemy is in games like pubg when they are in ur outside a building, shooting at me etc.
Hi logitech g560 or Creative Sound Blaster X Katana? Thanks
Sometimes I just sit on my couch grab a pickle, dill or sweet but it has to come out of a jar, and watch some UA-cam.
I don't know why I commented this I just thought the internet should know... ^w^
Vegan Teegan sounds like fun
Do u sit on the pickle or eat it
Saaaaaane
Can you set the G button to turn it on and off?
Question....if you switch to USB headphones, can the lights still work for immersion?
I've been seeing people saying its glitchy from the software making it have no sounds or having to plug in and plug out to make it work again is this true? Or has it been fixed?
I’m looking for the best speakers for CS-go. For when I don’t feel like having a headset or for warm up (death match). Are these the best still?
your awesome! i love your contact and your setup is so cool.
Speaking of that award you mentioned, why not make a stamp/award you give certain products you most certainly liked that almost are perfect in your eyes(so a award that is hard to earn but means its a really good product).
Thanks for the vid, ordered myself a set ;)
These are pretty awesome!
Retribution is incredible
Another awesome video!
Yo Frank I typically use my headphones when gaming because my setup is in my bedroom & I have a wife! LOL If I turn down the volume to almost 0 & have my audio coming from my headphones at night will I still be able to take advantage of the RGB effects?
Thanks for the video!
This Is Awesome Tech Device.. But Can You Put Two Of Them Together..? To Have More RGB... :-) :-)
They are very good looking speakers👍
Wait, was that another gaming setup you used?
Can I just point out that SteelSeries already has the Stat to Lighting effect (such as health being represented by a color range).
2 years later this is still one of the best speakers
just curious what kind of monitor is this?
love your channel!
What kind of table is that in the setup he used to feature the speakers? It’s amazing
How does this compare to your Kantos? I've got Kantos and not sure if I should swap over. Thanks!
where should we put the sub woofer? for best placement
the 5th best gaming speakers vid on this channel
Liked when achievement hunter was on screen 😂 tempted to buy them now
Are these recommendable for a home style cinema/gaming tv for console
Awesome video!
i wish someone did a video for the settings like a hands on. im not familiar with some settings terms in lighting.
