Never mind the weather....skin is waterproof, it'll no let any in!! I really enjoy the rapport between Gerry and yourself it can add to any driech outing
Hi Murray, I have spent a bit of time around Killin and the Maragowan campsite. The Falls of Dochart pub does great food. I've walked a bit in the forest with the dogs between where you parked and Killin village. A lovely part of the country. I must remember the cycle route. Thanks for sharing Cheers
I bought a very expensive Cannondale carbon full suspension MTB... and it's been nothing but trouble, stick to the old bike is my advice. Thanks for posting, enjoyed watching, thumbs up.
The Hovering Scotsman think I will - sounds like more bits to go wrong with all the fancy bits and bobs ! (Might be a more comfortable bike ride tho?) . Might need to sort my squeaky brakes at some point !! 😂😂 Thanks for watching ATB Murray
@@ScotlandsMountains Yes very comfy and the bigger wheels these days glide over the terrain with ease, also surprisingly light. But yes they are far more complicated so things go wrong at times, and there's always the worry that if you crash the carbon frame could suffer terminal damage. I wish all I had to deal with was squeaky brakes.
Great video , I cycled from Callander to that Car Park a few years ago, was a great day out. Oh and I recently painted the Glen Ogle viaduct on my Ray Fine Art channel 👍🚴🏻♂️🖼
Would you be able tell me where the fork is that takes you on the 2nd half of the loop? I took screenshot of the map on the national park site ended up almost at strathyre before turning realising i overshot so turned back but couldn't find the fork...heading back up again next week to have another go. Much appreciated.
Chrisp hi Chris - my vlogs tend to be a bit behind time (if that makes sense ). Usually takes me a while to get them edited ... this was from a few months ago - next three are from Skye - just before I got the infection at end of June . Finished antibiotic treatment yesterday and feeling a lot better tho - even managed up the pap of Glencoe on Sunday - first hike since the Skye trip 👍
Edmund Arrowsmith only briefly when I was filming as camera was on the helmet ! Think I mentioned it during the vlog - it was on for 99% of the time when I wasn’t filming 👍
Ian Crowther we didn’t like the look of it either 😂 the video makes it look calmer than it was too - think we may have been going for a swim followed by a high dive if we’d tried to cross 🤔😵😂 Thanks for watching ATB Murray
This is why I mainly watch UA-cam and no longer TV programming. Thanks Murray for keeping it real :-)
... and a Rubber Duck! Preferably a large one. Essential outdoor gear in Scotland apparently! 😉
Great video and footage very nice indeed well done thanks for sharing cheers

Safety first guys! Lol that trek across no mans land looked like one of my "adventures", cool... :D
Hugh McCann was a bit of a trek through that !!😂😂😂 was glad to get back in the saddle for sure
thanks for watching
M 👍
Nice adventure Murray, 2:33 sounded like the railway reopened and a steam train was heading for you 😀 Nice wee change! Thanks for sharing! Kris.
I may need my brakes checked #squealing lol 😂
The main thing is you got out, had fun and had an adventure:)

Looks like a fabulous trip! What's up with you health? Are you fit again?

I now own a Specialized MTB (relatively modern version) but I reckon you guys will still give me a run for my money.
Ben Pattinson aye but your brakes work properly Ben - i remember the descent in Glenalmond !!😂😂😂
Looked a cracking ride, how far and how long?
Ignore me. Missed the last bit of video where it flashed up.
Hi Ben... might be old and hard to stop but it works a treat... and so does the old bike!! Bw G
Interesting watching this with the subtitles switched on: the voice recognition does a "creative" job.
It’s one of my favourite pass times when I need a laugh - watching the vlogs with subtitles 😂😂
It was sad to see you without a helmet Murray.

@@ScotlandsMountains sorry Murray, thanks for the explanation however it what we saw
The sound of your brakes!! Had me in stitches! Another great show Murray!
Didn't like the look of that ford and progress of the torrent thereafter - wise move re the detour!
