Burritos were good hey Doddy! 😁 Nice to get a chance say hi ... (didn't want to interrupt ur lunch with the fam tho... and my burrito wasn't gonna wait!)
Awesome, I actually built the Martyn Ashton rep over lockdown and then sold it to its current owner once complete. Glad you liked it. It was a labour of love but is absolutely as far as I could part perfect even Down to the decal kit I designed and procured .
Oh man that muddy fox courier, my second MTB after the Al Carter. I remember riding them when MTB's were rare in the UK and people asked what they were. So many memories on this show. Looking forward to the retro video.
Yes absolutely love the Malverns Classic, such a great atmosphere and so much to see and do:) Great to see you there again and loved your tunes thanks Doddy💙 Even my wife noticed that Scots bike was a bit special:) Never left our street food stalls much, so looking forward to seeing what I missed on your channel😂
really glad scotty won the comp with the pace, being an old trials rider and a friend he brought the bike to me for some work to be done to get it ready for Malverns. i didn’t know the bike existed until he showed me and it was an absolute pleasure to work on it. i remember going to bike shows and watching Chris Akrigg on his pace hitting everything flat out.
I had as Race Rite back in the day …. It was smaller and had a titanium coil , that was 1993 and eventually lost it sadly . Anyone remember this gem of biking GOLD
I love your passion for older tech. I had a Hans GT Ricochet trials bike I found at a garage sale. I eventually sold it to a collector but man that was such a rad bike for its time.
That GT Psyclone in team scream at 08:03 was such a flashback for me. Nearly identical to the '93 Bravado LE that I had (and took it to the classic that year...) Which was also in team scream. Of course it had XT instead if XTR and was a rigid front fork rather than a Rock shox... Panaracer smoke/dart instead of Richeys but everything else was the same down to the onza bar ends. I miss that bike and I gave it away for a song during my broke student days...
I remember the mbuk article on the cannondale ambulance bike, back in the day. I inherited by brothers mean green caad2 f700, totaly loved that bike, it was one of the last cadd2s sold in the uk. rode it loads, untill it got nicked. I have owned cannondales to this day.
Would be amazing to see you back on the dirt jumper! Those old mbuk dvd’s with you on the giant stp taught me all the basics that have kept me rubber side down (mostly aha) for years now!
I dreamed of owning one of those Pace RC100 frames when I was just in my twenties, not just because it was ridden by an influential sheep, but they always looked awesome. What I have now is awesome, but part of me still wants that old Pace and maybe a Trimble Inverted Four... Damn, I am an old biddie now, I never saw that coming! 🤣
I ride mtb with the seat down in the front I've learned to push off a Little on the seat with the back kicked up a little.. now street bike the seat needs to be level for proper posture... Good stuff. Really enjoy the old bikes and all the wild design's. Keepemcoming
Thanks for all the tech you show here Doddy! You always do a great job with this! I take it your new little guy is named Dustin....you ought to introduce him to us! Your next riding buddy...
Defo 'Kuh-nipex'... I thought u would whip some out to undo that axle to fix the dropped chain at the lake race😁... didn't have mine with to lend...soz!
GTs are already huge among retro bike enthusiasts and highly sought after bases for commuter and gravel builds. If they bring out a retro-styled steel triple-triangle gravel bike, it would sell like hotcakes.
#AskGMBNTech Hey guys, I’ve been chasing a creak all over my bike for a bit now and I’ve finally reduced it to just one. I have already eliminated creaking from my BB and 3-bolt mount chainring and crank, but there is still creaking coming from under me-but only when I am sitting! I have already cleaned out my seat tube and put assembly compound around my dropper post, as well as cleaned my saddle rails and mount, greased the bolts on my seat, and put assembly compound on the rails when I re-assembled. But it STILL creaks! Help me GMBN, you’re my only hope!
@@Fish_-ce6kk doesn’t need to be a mountain bike, one from any bike would do? Worth trying at your local bike shop to see if they have one you can test? Or get a cheap secondhand one from eBay or local ads site or Facebook marketplace
Did you go to the Malverns this year? What do you think of these retro bikes?

Curtis bikes are made in Somerset. The workshop is now 100 yards from where I lived in the 90's.
Tora, Tora, Tora!!!
I might NEED one of those to compliment my BMW TMX, I even kept a pair of NOS Shinburger pedals for an occasion as such. 🤠😈🤩

Was chatting to the Tora guys when they were at dirt farm wales on the Friday, they were there testing... great to see the bikes in action
amazing the time saved from the cananondale ambulance bike....worthy winner even if it wasn't quiet what i or other people were expecting,
3:56 Lovely bike,, only problem is the shock and the linkage will be getting all the mud...
I love my 2014 GT Karakoram comp. Good on ya GT congrats!
K in Knipex is not silent-mind totally blown.Doddy`s Malvern report top notch as per!
My co worker told me that a few months ago. My Mind was blown too! Haha.
Na don't trust the Germans trying to speak English. They can't even pronounce Vehicle or anything with a V in it

Wow, you spin Doddy? Got any sets on Soundcloud I should listen to?
Got the superb anomaly on my downduro bike 👌👌👌

Looked like a great event! That cannonade would be getting a good workout now with so many heart attacks 😅

#askgmbntech,
Doddy your photos are always amazing, could you go into detail of settings and photography equipment. Great show
Any glimpse of a new 2023 GT Sensor?
Enjoy!
The Height-Rite was the first attempt at Dropping your seat...it was miserable compared to today droppers....especially the wireless Sram!
Fun!
Doddy the new Paris Hilton
Doddy you gotta get the Smoke/Dart tanwalls for that fox. I have a pair lying here not used, hit me up if you want me to ship them over
GT IS THE BEST BIKE BRAND THERE IS!! Bring GT’s back on the channel!! Ok I feel better now😁

What about trying another saddle? Even if just borrowed from a friend. Maybe it’s the actual saddle creaking

Hah sick
Yet on GMBN it's somehow SHRAM, despite their own videos available and also why it's called SRAM 🤷🏻♂️
Schram..... The English can't speak English anymore. They say stuff like bran nooo instead of brand new.
@@janeblogs324 Not sure you're in a position to comment on the correct use of English haha
Did those guys ever drink a Tequila Sunrise?? Colour is all wrong. Should be orange and red. I can taste one now.
If you want to talk about cool paint jobs look no further then the bikes made by Klein.
