[Mod Guide] Nerf Desolator/ Stryfe (complete rewire, switch upgrade and motor replacement)

This is a guide on how to modify/ rewire your Nerf Doomlands Desolator. If you want to rewire a stryfe the internal's are almost identical and this guide and should also be able to help you. The only major difference is you should not remove the battery tray. I hope this is helpful.

I know that every time I mod a blaster, I spend a good bit of time chasing after screws or springs that miss the parts tray & roll away. So thanks for leaving that part in your vid. Nice work!
Also, just have to say, when I finally get my hands on a Desolator, it's definitely one that I want to try adding LED's to.

I would highly recommend it unless you are using a MOSFET. They are pretty cheep and all you need to instal it is some expoxy putty and something to trim out some of the plastic.

Could you have fit a 3s into the stock to support Rhinos over Badgers?

Yes. You can actually fit a decent sized 3S into the tray if you cut out the bottom of the battery tray, since it's placed differently from the Stryfe and doesn't interfere with the trigger mech.
