TEXT
Black is the color of my true love's hair.
Her lips are something rosy fair,
The sweetest smile and the daintiest hands,
I love the ground whereon she stands.
I love my love and well she knows,
I love the grass whereon she goes,
If she on earth no more I see,
My life would quickly leave me.
I go to Troublesome for to mourn, to weep,
But satisfied I ne'er can sleep.
I'll write her a note in a few little lines,
I'll suffer death ten thousand times.
Black is the color of my true love's hair.
Her lips are something rosy fair,
The sweetest smile and the daintiest hands,
I love the ground whereon she stands.

I was listening to this like, this person is amazing and then realized I went to Juilliard with him. Nick is excellent. I remember back in the day when Melissa Shippen was singing that at all of the liederabends at school and then Michael Slattery, Woody Bynum and I all got in on the action too. Those were the days. Lovely job old friend.
gorgeous. really nice.
you absolutely killed it. so good
🙏
Stunning. You gave an otherwise mundane text such life and delicacy. True artistry.
Thank you for this ❤️ you've added so much humanity to my afternoon 😊
This made my night. thank you for uploading
I sang this song for one of my high school competitions. I got very high marks and felt like I was the best singer. But this man puts my performance to shame and truly humbles me.
Nicely done, man
amazing job.. I like the idea of keep hands in pocket. when doing solo's I always wonder what to do with hands...
The only thing I have to say to this is:
MMMM 😂
