Hopefully enough is different and fun for cohh to be interested in a long playthrough. I love his poe playthroughs and 2 can't come out fast enough but hopefully this league will be great.
It's not really a "huge" update it's just a new league, but it just so happens to be something a lot of ppl have been waiting for (melee rebalance) so it's really popular. And the league mechanic is a banger this time around.
@@Berwveimplementing base building is a pretty big update for a game that never featured it. I'd assume they are doing it for testing purposes for poe2.
@@michellepainter9057 you call it base building but that makes one think of a survival game. this isnt really the same thing, everything you can build is on rails in a predisposed place, you just click a button to pop into existence a predefined asset. not really base building in the common sense of the word
Breaking down the 2 parts: Is the update Huge? The update is fairly standard for PoE Update size, a bit bigger as they had lite bit more time then normal, but standard. Every cupel of months we get an update like this, the big hype here is primarily the theming and some of the changes they made (A cupel big QoL things and Melee buffs that have been highly requested). Why update the first game with the second one on the way? Grinding Gear Games effectively has 2 teams. One is working on PoE 2 and one is continuing updates for PoE 1. The PoE 1 team also gets to borrow art from the PoE2 team, and that is what they have done this time, as the town we are building is a time from PoE2. The intention is for GGG to keep updates PoE 1 even after PoE 2 has been released so that the game everyone loved does not disappear.
*Builds up hype for the second game *Introduces new players *Added in features that will be in the second game, allowing to test out if they work properly and if the community likes it. *Adds stuff players have been asking for,for years *Amongst other reasons
How are the reviews destroying it for you? It is currently reviewing at a 89% overall and current, so it seems most are overall happy with the game. For me I enjoy it, but it does take a lot of learning.
@@irgendwasmitxy its best to experience it your self. You can free to build anything but you will brick your character on first blind playthrough. Following a guide requires you to constantly ask for help or check on their wiki if you first timer. Once you get to the fun part, you will understand the complexity of this game
Wishing you a nice vacation, havent been around on twitch that much these days but i still enjoy your videos. Hope you been good man
Johan and Raulf and Sonya are new "forsaken" masters. Faustus was came from habour of heists, and Dannig and Tujen are from "expedition" team.

I LOVE YOU COHH
I've never played path of exile can someone explain why they'd release such a huge update to the first game with the second one on the way?

I want to start with PoE too but the reviews on steam somehow "destroy" it for me. Did PoE really became that bad regarding loot and elite mobs etc.?

@@fenrerwolf9243 why would you say poe is hard to learn?
