Also maybe you'll find this funny, but we actually have two Levi introjects, but one of us is 5 years old and doesn't identify with his source. He goes by Lee and likes Fluttershy and Minecraft. He's chill lol, but it's just funny that he's technically a Levi introject, but also not much Levi is left other than looks and a kinda similar name. This disorder is fucking weird istfg lol
Ayyyy Levi Introject havers unite!! lol We also have like 4 Dazai Introjects from BSD and one of them is 5 and like a little nonverbal cat boy from a comic our partner made. He’s technically a Dazai but he’s very much not like the original source too. Brain be weird huh? Lol

Hello, if you guys wouldn't mind, how do you organize clusters or subsystems? we can't find much information on this, it would mean a lot, thanks.

Our brain just puts us all into categories I guess based on likeness and trauma memories. I think is the best way to put it. Subsystems are when an alter has alters. We just call them clusters cuz we aren’t sure who the host alter of some of our subsystems are (who did everyone split from)

I don’t know very much about DID, so I apologize if this is a rude or intrusive question- How do you all decide on system/cluster names? I always see really cool descriptors used but don’t know where they come from
I’m not rly sure tbh it just depends on what feels right. The Masquerade Cluster name came to be because all the alters in that subsys used to be the people who front the most in our childhood and they always felt like they had to pretend to be a certain way or they were created to mask a certain way so they felt like actors in a way. Astronomical came from the host’s name being Astro and the fact that their part of the innerworld exists on an asteroid in open space. Home Cluster…I think it has something to do with the fact that they’re Introjects of parts of our physical body and they have an intrinsic tie to our home life from childhood? Maybe? Idk. Hope that makes sense. Thank u for the question.

Since we have the privilege of being safe and encouraged, by our community both online and irl, to present authentically without judgement, ridicule, or hate speech/crimes against us we do let our alters w accents front as they are. Also some of us just can’t talk without an accent. It just happens naturally. Some of our alters, especially our teenagers, have a more valley girl accent. Others sound more Canadian. And it just flows naturally. Just make sure you’re safe and supported when you let more vulnerable parts front.

hi! just curious, as a person who does not have DID, when do your alters present themselves? can you change that at will? /lh
We present very overtly now a days because we are in a safe environment irl. So ppl switch in and out depending on certain triggers or the time of day because we all have jobs assigned to us to do and we have alarms that go off to tell us what we’re supposed to do every day so we don’t forget. So the alarms can trigger switches as well. We live w our partner who also has DID so if they switch we tend to also switch cuz certain alters are dating one another so they like to front together.
