I'm non-binary, I consider trans to be an umbrella term. If you, an alter, feel like your own fully formed person, you are a fully formed person. If you, a fully formed person, experience dysphoria and are more comfortable with he/him pronouns and feel like trans is an identity that suits you - you're trans. 💞 I recognize my perspective as very queer and too progressive for some but eh. You identifying as something respectfully doesn't harm us as a whole. Live you life 🏳️‍⚧️

I'm so happy to see I'm not the only trans, non-binary person to think like this. 😭💚
Thank you for taking the time to write this comment.

@@ShikisaiMaki hey, idk if it's appropriate to ask you on here but I saw that u listed french pronouns, my native language is french but ive been separated from the culture by living in the us all my life and I've always wanted to find a french non-binary person to ask them this question: how do non-binary ppl tend to navigate their pronouns in french since there's no inherent genderless equivalent to they/them? Ik there's neopronouns that can be universal but how abt they/them? Merci Maki! Dsl si cette question te dérange, je suis juste hyper curieuse haha :)

    • @ShikisaiMaki

@@nitgnatI'm very happy to answer! :)
There are a lot of neo-pronouns in French! One is even in Le Robert dictionary now! It's "iel". You can find it online too!
There is also the variant ielle and other neo-pronouns such as ille, ael, yel, y, ol, ul, yol...
I personally don't use "iel" because I'm gender neutral/neutrois it just doesn't fit for me, people will mishear it as "elle" often too which would make me dysphoric. My gender expression/aesthetics are very similar to Pixie (Jillian, mostly? Though it was mostly pre-transition, but the masculinized version of the rainbow/pastel looks is what I'm aiming for!) I like "y" though! "Yol "is kinda cool too.
      I hope that helps! ^_^

hi jerrick its nice to meet you (and hi system!). in regards your discussion about opening/reading those notebooks from the very dark area of the system's trauma (around 11:20) i would please consider whether thats an appropriate and healthy thing to put yourself, the system and your audience through. please dont put pressure to do certain things on camera or push yourself to limits that are unsafe 💚 i feel like internet culture promotes a lot of oversharing and there are ways that can be healthy and unhealthy.

Just stop. Stop with the whole hi system! Nonsense. Everybody wants to not judge which is why people like her are allowed to take advantage of the mental health cash grab circuit. If you have done any extensive research in the disorder before the past 10 years, before it was super quirky and cute, you will get a better understanding of what the disorder is like. I guarantee you this girl does not have multiple personalities.

as a trans person, i’d just remember the severe trauma trans people face because they’re trans and that it’s something we can’t escape! trans people who look trans are very specifically targeted. even though i pass i still struggle a lot with discrimination. it’s okay to relate and share how you identify but in person please mind peoples unique trauma and difficulties (i’m sure you already do 💖). i haven’t had a doctor or been able to feel safe going to a hospital for years because of being trans. in past inpatient stays i was abused and put under severe isolation unlike what they’re meant to do with patients. ik some ppl with less trauma will give a pass without thinking about these things. all that being said, as somebody with bpd that deals with heavy dissociation i relate to where you’re coming from. i understand you have a lot of ur own traumas too. sending lots of love 🖤✨ hope this helps

I understand where you're coming from but it sounds like you're gatekeeping the trans label based on how much trauma people have related to their gender identity, I hope that wasn't what you were going for but it's just important to be careful how you phrase these things. Being trans doesn't cause trauma, transphobia causes trauma, and therefore how much trauma a trans person faces for being trans is dependent on how much transphobia they are put through in their lives, so a trans person could have no trauma related to their identity or they could have a lot, like you do because you're in a situation that is much less accepting than you deserve. Being mindful of other trans peoples different experiences with transphobia is important but it's got nothing to do with whether or not a person can/should call themselves trans.

Jerrick seems like such a chill dude, even when talking about really shitty and trauamtic things. He's the kind of person I would have loved to known and hung out with when I was a highschooler, and also now. In general he's just so different than Jillian, and they're both such wonderful people with completely different but still really comforting vibes. I'm glad Jerrick felt comfortable introducing himself!
Jerrick, your outfit is fucking dope, and you look hella masc. Idk how other transmasc/masculine non-binary people feel, but I don't see any reason you wouldn't be able to call yourself trans/non-binary etc. Whatever makes you comfortable, man. I 100% vibe with the discomfort and self-image issues, and SA trauma makes that so much more complicated. As one traumatized transmasc ace he/him to another, really glad to meet you. :)

I am a transgender man and I have absolutely no problem. DID is such a complex thing to deal with, your brain is literally split between different identities. My dysphoria is atleast one constant state of mind that can be cured with a specific treatment. (HRT, surgery) For them, it’s constant changing, and constant dysphoria with whatever the current identity is with so many changes. Sounds like an absolute nightmare to deal with.

@@dannydyerschocolatehumuncl2418 gender is confusing, and has barely anything related to presentation. It varies from people to people, but you know "girl" and "boy"? they're basically just stereotypes that used to be assigned to people's bodies based (mostly) on genitalia. It can range from colors, interests, style, personality, anything, but doesn't have to be all of it at once
my experience with gender is the most complex I think, I call myself a baddie twink, which basically, I relate to girl baddies, but in a twink way (i'm transmasculine, simultaneously agender, and have apparently some very specific fluidity)
so ig the way I assign my own gender is by what id like to be called and considered, rather than what I relate to

And UGH, yes, the whole trend of "fake disorder cringe" is one of the most frustrating and regressive things on the internet atm. It's literally bullying people for talking about their disorder, it's always going to do more harm than good. Even if someone was fakinng their disorder (which is not something you can prove as a stranger on the internet) imo its less harmful to just ignore them than to throw them any accusations of faking. I will NEVER understand the mentality of "fakeclaiming" and I'm so sorry you guys have to go through all that. Many kids n minors are on the internet and use spaces like Tiktok, Tumblr, Twitter, etc as spaces to talk about their experiences and should be allowed to do so without getting bullied and threatened and having to "prove" they have a diagnosis to be valid. It's infuriating and I'm glad when I see content creators talking about it. Again I'm sorry you've been through that toxicity though, and I'm glad that your experiences on other platforms have been less volatile.

Hello!! Just wanted to inform you that you mentioned that Jill was “born into the body” and that is, a misconception and not how DID works
There is no part born into the body, you just start off developing as a child with normal separation of parts, and then those parts fail to connect.
So basically, a good metaphor for that is a plate that has been shattered- after it’s broken, what part would be “the original”? There wouldn’t be one. I’m sorry if this explanation isn’t the best, but the idea of an “original” or a “core” is incorrect, if you want I can send you sources about that as well!! I hope you have a good day

As a trans core of a system (I relate to the body the most, etc.) You can identify as trans if you want to. It's not hurting anybody, nor is it hurting yourself or your system. It is helping you grow as an altar and as someone in the system. I feel like taking that part of you away is very damaging to yourself. So if you feel like you are, or if you are, please feel free to identify that way. There is nothing wrong with identifying that way, especially as an altar. Stay safe!!

Id love to see more videos from you/ see your closet :)
I've been subscribed for quite a few years and used to watch regularly, I found Jillian's videos and bright pastel vibe comforting and they gave me the confidence to start exploring my personal style more and embrace bright colours but it's been a while since I've watched. I'm now starting to explore grunge/emo style more (I was an emo baby then went in completely the other direction and now I'm kinda realizing I don't have to just stick to one?) in addition to this so I'd love to see how Jerreks take on fashion differs from Jills :)

you know, i think transmasc might be the descriptor you're looking for. if you're still struggling with making a distinction between trans man and nb, i mean. it's a really handy umbrella term that covers probably all of the afab masc aligned bases

as someone who lives in boston and has issues with ADD making me want to eat everything carby in sight, i will now be referring to that particular problem as Boston Pizza Pissorder thank u
also it’s lovely to formally meet u !! & regarding the trans terminology, as a genderfluid afab person, “trans” is an umbrella term and just means you don’t 100% identify with the gender you were assigned at birth 100% of the time. your body was assigned female, and you don’t identify with that, so imo you’re free to call yourself trans :)

Pixie I am leaving this comment with no disrespect I promise . I have disassociative personality disorder I was diagnosed with it two years ago most doctors don't even believe in it. The reason I'm leaving us comment is because having disassociative personality disorder has never been fun for me I have four beautiful children and I'm not going to go into why I have disassociative personality disorder but I will just say that something happened when I was 8 years old to fracture my mind and it's painful when I have to hide in the bedroom because my children don't understand why mommy is a little girl sometimes the only person that understands is my husband I sincerely hope that you are not using this very painful for many people disorder to gain more followers or relate to people that have this disorder because if you don't really have a fractured personality disorder then you will never understand the pain all of us go through and if you don't really have it it's cruel to make light of this disorder for people that really do have this disorder in order for you to gain followers or to explain why you are the way you are just because you are a very unique person does not mean that your personality is fractured I hope and pray that you read this comment and please understand the people that actually have this disorder are tortured because of this every day

This is the link to the video that Pixie made first revealing on youtube that they have DID, they talk about how they got their diagnosis and show papers in the video that confirm their diagnosis. If they are faking DID I doubt they would really put all this time and effort into making up “fake” evidence and making these videos. Also please understand that I do not mean for this reply to be rude or hateful towards you, and I really hope it doesn’t come off that way.

It's not rude and I don't think of it as being rude if she has dissociative personality disorder then I honestly respect her for being so active and being able to function so well she must have a lot of people that love her in order to do that because for people that have this disorder it takes a lot for us to function I don't think you're rude at all I actually thank you for your rebuttal because I don't know her personally and like I said I promise I'm not trying to come off as being disrespectful I wish I knew her better she seems like a wonderful person no ill will to anyone that I know or don't know

Been following your twitter for a bit but it’s nice to officially meet you! I’d like to see more of you if you feel like making more videos, maybe something about how you navigate getting more dark-alternative(since I also consider jill’s fashion to be alternative but like emo/punk etc) clothing and whatnot when y’all are living fast fashion free or how you deal with not looking like you even if it feels like just a cosplay for now i think it does help doing little things that feel more like you when you can’t do a lot especially as part of a system i think? but i do relate to that even as a singlet (and i’ve been learning a lot about did through y’all as well!)

@@Voldycat 1. As I said in a different post if you are to go back and look at the research and data collected about this disorder up until 5 to 10 years ago before it became trendy quirky and cute then you will get a much better understanding of what this disorder looks like, sounds like, feels like, and stems from.
      2. Pixie does not exhibit any of those categories of what this disorder is and I have been following her since before she left for college, so for years. This is a new quirk.
      3. Making videos like this allows for her to rake in sympathy and a collective hug from people who are too afraid to judge others when judging and shaming others is exactly what society needs so that it can deter people like her from co-oping a legitimate segment of society.

thanks for making this intro video, Jerrick! It was so interesting to learn about you and your story. I have OSDD AND happen to be transmasc NB so I can say its TOTALLY possible. I'm the host of the system so I was able to handle the trans stuff before handling the OSDD stuff but its SO interesting now looking back and seeing how they interact with and inform eachother- and still are! There's a lot we haven't worked on yet fully but life's a journey like that. Despite being cis the body looks kind of "masculine" because of PCOS so interestingly the more femme of us (who would technically be cis) get shouldered with the most body dysmophia/dysphoria type stuff. The feeling of like, "doing a cosplay of yourself" is one we have DEFINITELY experienced before so you're not alone in that! And it's super cool to see that *we're* not alone in that either :3c

Something about how Jerrick "holds" their eyes and facial expressions really brings me back to 14-16yrs with my Goth friends, one (a cis-female who was just discovering she was Bi) had quite a "masculine" way to her, a bit abrasive and also mellow. She was into System of a Down and things like that. More of a metal head than a Goth like I was. That friend had facial expressions just like this, and I just thought that would be validating to hear. In other words you're such a "real" part and person that you made me feel like I was at highschool again.
Absolutely amazing that you can watch movies that Jill can't. That's absolutely amazing.

its really nice to properly meet you jerr 🖤 im not a system (?? i feel like a million fragments so idk if that ''counts'' but whatever), but im autistic and bpd and ptsd and all that shit, so a lot of what you're talking about is a mood. also nonbinary, and to me my definition of trans is 'anything that is not solely and exclusively your agab', so being afab but not female, absolutely trans if thats how you identify (which you clearly do, and fuck anyone who says you aren't)
id love to see more content from you, if you wanted to make anything! my style fluctuates between both yours and jills, so seeing both on a channel i love so much would be a really cool thing
