Great work! I am more of a rock drummer but as a brazilian guy, the only advice I can make about samba it’s to search about “telecoteco”. It’s a fundamental thing for the rimshot patternn, the basic concept. You are doing great anyway. Cheers!
thanks for putting a name to it. i watched Edu Ribeiro's videos on samba, and i get why people want to play an easier rimshot pattern. the telecoteco is hard XD
@@Dyingwood. There is a great video about samba called “Como o samba era tocado antigamente- mestre Tata”. “How samba was played in the old times” .That’s pure brazilian gold. Cheers!

Would've liked to see you improvise more with your left hand, to help your viewers understand that these patterns aren't set in stone but are the rough outlines that so many "Latin" percussive traditions revolve around.

not improvising but i just learned these groove. a lot of them are in tommy igoes groove essentials book. thats where akk the tracks are from!
