Last Trip to the sale barn for 2024

The market has picked up some so hauling these kids and lambs to the Norwood Missouri sale. They didn't bring what I had hoped but that's the market.

Thanks for sharing, your videos are very informative. When taking large lots of sheep and goats to the sale do you have to have health certificate papers on them? Just curious, I do where I am when crossing state lines.

Do you mind sharing your profit from the sale? I’m not sure my math was right on those lambs that came through the ring at $2.70 a pound. That’s 12,970 x $2.70 right??? You just made a killing if that’s what it was

Yes, but you have expenses in them.

Im in PA and I just got $1.05 for my 90 lbs lambs and $2.50 for the 50lbs lambs. I still don't understand why anyone would want to butcher a lamb that small, there isn't much meat...but that's what the market wants:) Do you notice the same thing with the weights?
