Wow! I didn’t think they had auctions that sold that many horses at a time. And to me they just seem so expensive! People spending almost 10K for a horse they don’t even really know! When I was a kid my grandma bought me a pony for $150 & she ended up being just a gem. I trained her like a dog bcuz that was all I knew. But training her like a dog was really excellent training. I was only 10 but then I listened to my girlfriends who did know how to train horses. She was western, english, she drove, did barrels, trails ( & got a first place in her first trail class while showing against 43 horses with many competing for championships), & she jumped & loved it. She had an adorable personality & was like a big live stuffed animal. She was the best thing in my childhood. People were always trying to buy her off of me which I didn’t understand. I kept her until she died & absolutely loved her. I looked at all those horses there & felt sorry for them even though I knew they were moving on to something supposedly better. They don’t have a family herd or any familiar friends & they’re just somewhere, alone & being sold. It’s saddening.
All the pretty horses ~ I'm glad that Ohio isn't putting on a shameful auction---although I'm no longer a big fan of the Amish and all their horrid puppy mills. Loved just seeing them and with your comments.
It makes my heart cry to see so many beautiful horses treated without dignity. Being sold and shuffled around …. So sad. These amazing animals deserve to be loved and respected.
I think most of them are not in that bad condition like other auctions and It's natural to being sold bcz some people makes money for living by raising and selling horses.
Shae, the buckskins always make my heart leap - those with light colored bodies, dark mane, tail and long stockings. Wow, some of the prices were princely, weren't they?!! Thanks for taking us along! Wahoo! 🤠🐴❣
I just love Friesian horses, but I loved that Friesian Gypsy!❤❤. A lot of beautiful horses, but as I often say, I have never seen an ugly horse!!❤❤. Thanks for sharing, take care!😊
I really liked the friesian/gypsy mix. That was a nice cross! I couldn't help but love that cute little bay mule that wanted to help you film. Big strawberry roan (4yo) was nice too! Just love em all 💖💕!!!
Auction and Free Spirit Equestrian makes me click so fast! 😅 Gorgeous horses - and the beautiful one in the loose pen really kept me thinking, too. Of course I can totally understand your thought processes. Thank you for pointing out and explaining so well for us!
This reminds me of my childhood fantasy of having a giant barn full of unusual colorful horses! I'd go to the sale just to enjoy looking. Thanks for doing the tour for us!!
OMG…OMG!!! Raised and trained horses mostly Arabian and Quarter hoses…that Bay Quarter horse at 19:46 to me is a once in a lifetime ❤ at 1st sight!!! Had a Registered Quarter horse stallion that looked so much similar…have watched a lot of your videos…but this horse to me takes the cake!!! Yours is the best equine channel…love your gentle spirit with your horses! Thank you for what you do and how you approach your operation…truly your calling!
So many beautiful horses and i was surprised at the low prices that many of them were going for. Well, if i ever get a horse I'll be sure to take your class so I know what to look for at an auction. My head spins just seeing all of them on a video. ♥️🐎
I must say the prices seem really reasonable compared to how much we pay in the U.K.🇬🇧 It’s a testimony to the horses owners that they behave so well in the auction itself , what with all the nose and commotion going on! Loved lots of the horses that you showed us.❤ Thank you 🙏
So many beautiful horses it must be so hard to resist buying but you have a great attitude towards choosing the right horse, and one day you’ll find Kyles roan :)
Having been to only one horse auction in my life, and decided never again, I get so torn watching these. It feels like a used car sale, the horses just commodities, not living, breathing sentient creatures with feelings.I know you can't save them all, but it breaks my heart. I think I will have to watch your home videos instead, I find these auctions so sad. Yet most of your subscribers enjoy them, and I understand that. All the best, especially to Belle and Esmeralda, from Australia.
Same for me, although at this auction the horses looked alright. Sadly many Amish people give horses to auction or slaughter when they no longer have a use for them (aka being overworked). Many are scarred and completely broken.
Shae, you are kind to tske your followers (of which i am one) to see the auction horses before selling. I do learn so much from you. After 25+years my husband has said that we will find a bigger place for a couple of horses My husband has had a rough time for the past 20 years. His biggest surgery was 2 & 1/2years ago and it is almost healed abdominal hernia removal of muscle, mesh & any thing that didnt look right. My doctor said that if i could ride it the back would be fine. Thank you again for taking the time to take me with you See you in the next video. I'm in love with Belle, she is so big and beautiful. But i have had most all mares, but stuck on having a gelding.Looking forward to you next videos. I am watching you work with Belle and Esmeralda. Too cute. Thanks. Cathy Soldan❤
Shae there was a lot of beautiful horses at that auction!!! I hope you find a red roan horse or a blue roan horse for Kyle he seems to really want one!!! He thought Belle's foal was a roan!!!🐴🐎💞💞😍😍
I love to see so many beautiful horses but I learn so much from you at the same time! I appreciate how you teach on things to observe and look for! Thanks!
Glad you made this video, I enjoy watching your auction videos (and your others as well), they're very informative. Lots of beautiful horses there- I love the chocolate brown with the blonde mane and tail and the fresians and some of the paints. Heck, I love horses period - have since I can remember, it used to baffle my mom, she always said she didn't know where it came from. I told her as a kid I was born that way, that it was in my blood .... I rode and trained when I was young but it's been a long time since I've been in a place where horses could be part of my life. I can't put into words how much I miss them. I really enjoy these auction videos, seeing the horses offered for sale, listening to and watching your evaluations of the horses. I wouldn't want to go to a horse auction on my own, I think I would be overwhelmed and want to bring them all home..... I can't go to the humane society for that reason - I end up in tears... I would need to have someone like you with me who's practical and experienced with the auction scene..... Thank you for your videos, I'm glad I stumbled onto them.
Hi Shea, thanks for sharing 👍🏻 some super nice horses. There was a roan with a black face outside being ridden. That was definitely my favorite. I hope all is well at the farm and with Belle and her foal. Greetings from Utah.
I love your videos they are so fun and I have learned so much from them! You are so cheerful and happy all the time and you are an amazing horse trainer! You truly and an amazing person! Have an amazing day and weekend!
Oh thank you Sir. I cried, n cried in thanksgiving for you and with you. I had an experience myself years ago, and you brought me back there. So, thank you.
I love watching your auction videos! It shocks me how cheap the horses are there compared to the UK. Even the most basic, nothing special horses are being sold for over £10k (about $13k) since covid.
I might get a lot of hate, but from my experience, I have come across countless horses trained by the Amish that have so many emotional issues and were trained with a heavy hand. I also noticed that in this video, and many other videos of auction that they ride pretty heavy on the horses back. Just observation not hating but just not thrilled at the stuff I have seen and experience with the horses trained by the Amish
Was nice to see good looking horses as opposed to the ones that the amish people beat to a frazzel & half starve half to death. I saw some beauties Much luv to u Carry on Thx 4 sharing
The black and white paints are always the ones I would hope to be able to bid on, my fav, but there sure was alot of gorgeous horses there. Thanks Shae for bringing us with you once again, living my auction life through you, lol.
these auctions always look like so much fun but also must be exhausting! shopping in general can wear me out pretty fast so making a whole day of this, looking into each horse with so many options and decisions and variables... i'd be worn out at the end of the day! still, so much fun, though!
I always love going to the auctions. They do have some beautiful horses. You're right you got to stand in grounds of what you want. You are just an awesome woman. I love your life the horses. And I'll be going to the next auction with you. God bless.
I do enjoy going to the auctions with you. So many beautiful horses that I’d want to buy. One of the tobiano paints you showed was my type and so stunningly beautiful (B&W). So, thank you for taking me there.
Thank you so much for doing these videos with the auctions. Although I'm not new to horses and horseback riding I'm still what I consider a beginner who needs a mentor. And watching your videos what you look for what you show us at the auctions is very very helpful. So thank you so much Shae I appreciate it.
So many stunning horses in this one... that odd blue roan, some of the pintos and buckskins I think would be my faves but sure can't pick just one LOL Glad you enjoyed yourself :-)
I’m glad I found your channel this horse auction was so interesting. First time I’ve realized that the Amish are into breeding, training, and selling horses but it does make sense that they do.
WOW!! ❤❤❤ girl I was taught to ride Hunter on an 18 hands Thoroughbred/Clydesdale cross. And she was so amazing. Gosh I miss her😢 her name was Tippy Toes she was a Bay and gosh so beautiful. I don't know how you could make a choice with all those beauties❤❤. So so many and I want to cry for the sickly ones😢. Take care God Bless 🙏🏼♥️
What a smorgasbord of horse's! And prices all up and down. Even when the horse's are in good shape, it tears at your heart seeing thier faces and demeanor in that environment. For sure Kyle needs that Roan horse one day. . . what a great gift for him and who better than you to find one for him.
Thanks for taking us along on your journey! I loved that grey appaloosa that went through the ring but it's really hard picking a favorite even with only what you showed so I can't imagine seeing all of them and having to choose. Hopefully it was a nice outing for you and it seems like you at least got to see and meet a lot of interesting horses and other four legged critters! Can't wait to see what's next for you as you continue bonding with the foal and building your relationship with Mushu and Belle!
As always, I love the auction trips! There were several horses that I would have had alot of interest in. A couple of Pintos, and a couple of handsome bays. The big roan that you took a look at for kyle. Thanks for taking us along. I wish though that you would have lingered a little longer on some the prettiest horses😊. The horses outside in the pen made me very sad. Poor things. I always think they are probably headed for slaughter. I hope not.😔
I love the auctions. There are so many different colors, and shapes of them. I love draft horses. I do watch a channel where this couple goes to auctions and only buys draft horses. They don't sell any of them. They are at their "forever" home. All of the horses you have a beautiful! My favorite is Belle and Esmerelda.
That one with the two kids riding it outside was fabulous! There were so many gorgeous horses there. It was nice to see what they sold for. I'd be in big trouble if I went to a horse auction. I'd be so overwhelmed. ❤

So many Auction horses are so very sad as they thought they were at a forever home but don't know what their future holds...I pray all go to a loving ❤ forever home...and will be forevermore to the end of their lives...I would love to have a horse again but I want one especially for me...thank you for sharing 😊 😀....
In sweden/scandinavia are we celebraiting /yup spelld wrong/ an holiday that the sun is the highest of the year , and i got to ride an horse for the first time in like 4-5 years, it was so amazing and u must be blessd riding like every day and have them around

The belgians are beautiful! I am a sucker for blue eyes. But the appy/draft is gorgeous. I love seeing the babies. I hope they have gotten good homes.
Right? So beautiful.
i hope every single sold horse went to a good kind owner and safe healthy place to live

Yes! 💖💖💖
I love the auctions! All the horses are so beautiful. ❤
Always enjoy you taking us to the auctions. Thanks.😊
Thanks for taking time out to go to an auction for us Shae! So many beautiful horses and foals. I'm only 5'3½" but I prefer tall horses and drafts.
The black and white paints are always the ones I would hope to be able to bid on, my fav, but there sure was alot of gorgeous horses there. Thanks Shae for bringing us with you once again, living my auction life through you, lol.
Love that you share these videos, I'm housebound ATM but I can still see the horses I love.

So many really beautiful homes there it would be overwhelming to try to bid on one! Thanks for taking us along

So many stunning horses in this one... that odd blue roan, some of the pintos and buckskins I think would be my faves but sure can't pick just one LOL Glad you enjoyed yourself :-)
I absolutely LOVE all your videos! I was so excited to see there was a new auction vid up! Love you and your work, and of course all the horses! ❤❤❤
That pinta-loosa was my fav along with the Appaloosas!❤️
I used to have a snow cap POA I loved him but my family split and I had to say bye.😞
Thank you for sharing your videos at the horse auctions. It’s a lot of fun seeing see many beautiful horses and are your knowledge on them.
That’s the kind of auctions I miss going to. Thank you for sharing this one with us! I’d definitely go with ya next time 😁 and get🍦
Yes!!!!
AHHHHH! That chocolate palomino that lady was riding! Oh my heart!!!!
I’m glad I found your channel this horse auction was so interesting. First time I’ve realized that the Amish are into breeding, training, and selling horses but it does make sense that they do.
A STUNNING little appaloosa pony at 3:50
I loved the Palomino Haflinger I believe that’s what the breed was
It’s in the time slot 14:39 - 14:51
I will be excited for Kyle when he gets the horse of his dreams.
I love how you try your best with all the places you go. Love you. ❤
Thanks for being us along 💝
I’m loving that black and white draft with the 2 young boys riding! OMG beautiful
That pintaloosa❤ and that blue eyed roan Belgian cross ❤
The very last dark dapple gray was stunning.
Love going along to the sale you give us a chance to see what's there , thanks for sharing
So many beautiful horses!!

SO MANY WONDERFUL LOOKING HORSES. DEFENITLY
A DREAM FOR HORSE PEOPLE, PEOPLE WHO LOVE HORSES,WORK WITH HORSES /WANT A HORSE.
3:20 I thought it was cute that this one has a 'boop' button on its nose. So many beautiful horses, though. Thank you for sharing.
That one with the two kids riding it outside was fabulous! There were so many gorgeous horses there. It was nice to see what they sold for. I'd be in big trouble if I went to a horse auction. I'd be so overwhelmed. ❤
That horse was one of my favourites too...🐴
Saddest part to me is that most of the horses are obviously very well loved and cared for and then there's just ones that...aren't.
I love going to the auctions, and sometimes you do see some horrible stuff, but I wish I could go every week!
The gypsy/fresian stole my heart. The little cresent moon marking ❤❤❤
Lots of beautiful horses! 🥰
14:59 with the two boys! Fabulous!!! It's funny how we all have preferences...my definite "nope!" is pink skin anywhere on a horse. I worry about sunburn and I just don't like the way it looks. I love paints and dapples. 🥰
You’ve inspired me to actually “verbalize” my private dream- to own two Peruvian Paso’s- 💭 . Love your channel!! So happy for ya’ll!
Omg yay!!!!
Thanks for this video and all the info you gave. The majority of the horses were beautiful 😍
I love the big chunky ones especially the coloureds..you definitely need a good eye..and a strong will!
Welcome to Ohio Shae!! Hope you had a good trip!
Thank you for taking us along. I enjoyed your coverage of the various elements of the auction.
That blue eyed white(appy?) Was BEAUTIFUL!!💜💜
So many Auction horses are so very sad as they thought they were at a forever home but don't know what their future holds...I pray all go to a loving ❤ forever home...and will be forevermore to the end of their lives...I would love to have a horse again but I want one especially for me...thank you for sharing 😊 😀....
I was so excited when I saw this! I love your auction videos and seeing the beautiful horses! 🐴
Thank you for sharing this! I liked most of them especially the pinto earlier in the video. Of course I loved the beautiful palominos.❤
Right? So pretty.
Thank you for taking us with you. Some beautiful babies. I was partial to that big dapple Grey. Wow
In sweden/scandinavia are we celebraiting /yup spelld wrong/ an holiday that the sun is the highest of the year , and i got to ride an horse for the first time in like 4-5 years, it was so amazing and u must be blessd riding like every day and have them around

And the huge one with the brindle colours
