Ramping Up Regenerative Farming Practice, Experimenting Planting Green Into Hairy Vetch

This is a smaller "Experimental Field" that we are ramping up our Regenerative Farming Practices to the next level. As I describe we will use some other biological-type products from Elevate Ag as the crop grows. It was actually too wet to plant under normal circumstances. We have been very wet but had a window to plant so took it. With all the residue on the surface, it planted very well. Not mud sticking to the tires like it would have done without it.
I'll keep you updated on what we do and how the crop is growing.
So far we have 80 units of Nitrogen on, but I am sure the oats took up some of that since we were delayed planting for a few weeks due to the rain.
We got 1.5 inches of rain on it again the day after planting.
