Seriously my favorite type of video from you. It is so cool how you change the design while you are talking about it.
I think the problem with car designs these days is that they aim at egos, that is why they sacrifice beauty for that in-your-face look.

Part of the glare is that shiny plastic protector on the screen
i wish they made it a hard top instead of a soft top. I loved the F82 M4 convertible for that fact, looked stunning when retracting the roof
It was definitely a cool touch but over the last decade, hard tops have become mostly obsolete. Most of them had the "bubble" look and didn't look natural. The soft tops are now better for rough weather, lighter, and easier to design, install, and maintain. Would have liked to see a hard top but I definitely get why they didn't bother

The hood crease into the headlight is delicious and maybe the side bumper intake end lines, which you made more virticle, could have been lined up with the hood crease.
This time I think that biggest problem with gage cluster and infotainment was plastic foil over it, contrast and color would be much better, and there would be much less glare.

I test drove the 2024 m4 coupe the other day. Absolutely amazing. So powerful and love the engine sound.

24 M4 design is awesome looking. Picking up one tomorrow, coming from a 2020 r8 and 2019 600lt. Still love the m4 design.
The M3 front end looks really good, except for the lower vents.
Someone has to make an after market cap for the large computer screen that is called a dash now.

People just don't like change. This new grille doesn't look bad at all. If people still don't like it, 90% of them are lying because they want to fit in. To be fair, I think it doesn't really work on the IX and is questionable on the regular 4 series coupe. It looks great with the proportions of the gran coupe, but it also looks great on the M cars. That's likely because it's not just tacked on, and it was developed and sculpted to work with the car. Haters gonna hate but looks better than most cars on the road

I got used to the new kidney look of BMW so much, that i prefer it to the former 3 and 4 series model now. Im actually kind of disappointed that this look is just available for the M versions.
I bought one in September. Convertible like this one incl. XDrive. It's a Fu****g smoke show. No regrets.
This car still has the plastic film on the dashboard screen, which prompts two questions:
1. Have you ever driven a car with iDrive 8 without the film to confirm there is glare? I have (with roof open and all windows down) - there is no glare.
2. Is this car even done its break-in period? If not, you really shouldn't be pushing it past 4000-4500 rpm until it is.
There is nothing wrong with the grill….. looks so much better than standard 3 series, it’s and M car it has to be different
If you want to design cars apply for a job or start your own company.
The reason you have glare on the screens is because you have the plastic film on. Take that off and problem solved. 🤦🏼♂️

You’re a lot more than 2000 feet closer to the sun there. Try 6000.
Mazda tailights
The fortunate color minimizes the twin front tumors. Wake me when that seemingly endless goofiness passes. Plus that radar panel has got to get hidden… it’s scary. I’ll never adjust to dashboard monitors… they are not compatible with a convertible 😓
It was never the grille, it was everything around the grille.

After this model I'd rather buying the new Mercedes SL
M4 owner here, Initially, I looked at an SL. The problem is that it's been priced so high that it's just not in the same segment anymore. I paid 133k (CAD) plus tax for my M4 cab with almost all of the options. The SL55 isn't nearly as fast or as engaging as the M4 and it STARTS at $185k CAD. The 63 is what you need to compete and those are pushing $250k with options. That's supercar territory. The Mercedes that competes with this in terms of price is the E53 cab. Great car as well, and you can pick one up for around the same as the M4
@@samrosen9823the e53 cab is another gorgeous model from Mercedes. I admit I can't afford neither the M4 nor the sl63 but in my dreams, as I said, I'd pick the last one. Not an huge fan of the last gen of BMW M3/M4, they look weird in my opinion.
@@gigi-of2tu Definitely a respectable opinion. For a GT car, I would probably go with the Lexus LC500. In a lot of ways, it's arguably better and it costs about half of what the SL63 costs, making it obsolete to lots of people. Great car, but for 250k I'll take a used Huracan or 458 personally
