Thank you so much for all your hard work swatching and comparing, I always love your OPI videos and find them incredibly helpful! I am so disappointed that the shimmer in I Can Never Hut Up isn't more prominent because that could have been AMAZING! And thank you for comparing Spear to Amazon... Amazoff because now I know I need Spear (also that name... one of the reasons I love OPI).
shortnailswatcher I find it to be present but not as strongly as let's say orlys spring 2016 beautifully bizarre... I kinda like it because it's more subtle

great color-- true lavender-- but junk formula. a lot of bloggers said that and I got it anyway. thin, runny, floods cuticles, streaky....... got the polish from ulta so not a fake either.
I wanted to buy this collection online, but decided to check out my favorite local beauty supply. They had the entire line and I bought it on Feb 1st for 47 + taxes (51 total). Great price for a beautiful collection... Can't wait to start wearing it!
My favorite nail supply store usually doesn't carry new Opi collections early and don't always have all shades available (they sell out fast)... This time they had it and I got lucky because I was early
I'm a blue-a-holic, so I picked up the blue shimmer polish. Right now I am wearing it over A Grape Affair and it is fabulous. I want to get the green, the gray, and the brown neutral.

I generally don't get to Marshalls or TJ MAXX often. It's about 1.5-2 hours away. But we ventured out last weekend. And TJ had some OPI from the Hello Kitty collection. So was looking for one I missed out on. As I was looking I discovered that the names weren't the same. I remember a few years ago there was a bunch of polishes there that had weird names. But hadn't noticed that recently. But there they were all different. That being said my stores haven't had nearly the amount of polish in the last year and a half or so. Kind of sad! But thanks again Phoebe!

My Super Trop-i-cal-i-fiji-istic had the same typo. I love that you include dupes for these collections. I'm someone who is drawn to certain colors and this helps me decide if I really "need" some of them? lol.

'do you sea what i sea' looks to be very similar to 'i sea you wear opi', which i just happen to putting on my nails right meow! i don't remember which collection it was from. maybe a summer brights from a couple years ago. but, anywho.. i love your review and dupes! this is the first i've seen of this collection. i feel like i have a lot of very similar colors to these colors, so i may or may not purchase. i do like the orange, the grey and the purple. thanks so much for your work :-) it helps greatly and is always fun to watch

Watching this I was really excited till the dupes portion lol. I ordered the whole collection cuz it just took me to dream land. So now I'm stuck with the whole collection regardless if I have a polish that's a dupe lol. But No Tan Lines got me really excited lol.

Thanks Phoebe! So you say this is their spring AND summer collection? I'm new to polish so I haven't seen a whole year yet. There are 3 Ulta exclusive polishes in this collection, still available as of this morning. There is an orange, a mint green, and an orchid purple called "Nails of Paradise."
OH lol this is why I should watch the whole video before commenting. I look forward to seeing those!

Hi, back in the late 1970's up to 1981 Avon had a color of nail polish, it was called plum perfait the color was a creamy milky tan with a hint of plum, do you have or know of a color that might compare to this polish, I looked for many years trying to fine this color, any brand, the color looks great on any skin color,

La La poolside service wore much darker than I expected from the bottle. it's also a more gray toned shade. from what I can tell mermaids tears is much lighter and bit more green toned. i don't know if this helped at all! but hopefully it did lol
Thanks! Now that you say that I found Poolside Service wore darker than the bottle too. Mermaid's Tears is much lighter than Poolside Service. I suppose that Is That a Spear In Your Pocket? is somewhere between the two. It's a very 'dupeable' collection though, none that really jump out at me, except that one (I'm a sucker for that sort of colour).
I might buy "Is that a spear in your pocket" just for the name lol. Did you see LeChat is releasing a holographic ("Spectra") collection? I hope they release it in their minis.

Polly want a lacquer looks like the perfect balanced lilac! Do you know how it compares to Sally Hansen insta-dri in Leapin' Lilac? I'm hoping it's a hair more red because the SH one is just a hair too blue.

I feel like I don't need any of these. :( I'm really not an OPI fan, and I try not to buy it new since they are not a cruelty-free brand, but I already have (or have had and destashed) at least one of the dupes for each of these colors. I'd be interested in seeing dupes from other mainstream brands, but that video could go on for days. haha!

not that i could find. zoya heather is the most similar in my collection(i swatched it in last swatchfest) but its considerably lighter

Jennifer Wheeler she's a bad muffuletta is a lot darker and redder. This red is lighter and has more orange in it.
Do you have China Glaze Exotic Encounters?? I feel like it could be a dupe for Is that a spear in your pocket.
I saw another review that showed it was a dupe for Amazon, Amazoff actually. She noted that Amazon, Amazoff really stains and she hoped Spear would not.
Jenn W Thanks girl! I guess I will be purchasing this one then. I love it and am glad I have nothing like it!! I didn't get Amazon Amazoff. Everyone was saying how bad it stains. I am one of those weirdos that wear dark polishes like that through the summer and don't want stained toes.
