I love this collection! Fall is usually my favorite season for polish :) I think it's good that they're doing close colors to cult favorite polishes, gives people a chance to stock up on ones similar to those if they missed them. Great video as always Phoebe!

I like how the underlying music in your vids is really pleasant but not distracting, you thoroughly show both polish in the bottle and swatched and you are really good at describing colors. I love indie polish brands like Picture Polish and would love to see live swatches from that brand. Just wanna put that out there (I'm aware that polishes don't hang on trees) :)

thanks for sharing the dupes! i had my spreadsheet open next to me and was searching for the ones you had dupes for LOL i feel like i have similar colors to most of this collection (including some of the dupes you mentioned)... however, It's a Piazza Cake reminds me most of Ginger Bells from a few years ago... i don't think they're dupes, but i think that would be the one i would pick up out of this collection... if i went by names, i would pick up most of these (my hubby is half-Italian on his mom's side)... and maybe the cannoli one because that's his favorite dessert! xoxo

I just got back from studying abroad in Florence, Italy for 3 weeks this past weekend where I visited Venice just last week. I have a strange feeling a lot of these will end up in my collection just because :) Just hearing some of these names I got so reminiscent already! Great review!

I might like this collection...but I do know that Gilato On My Mind is similar to Essie's Blossom Dandy. Idk...my all time favorite fall collection by OPI was the Nordic Collection. But great video & swatches. I really liked it lol.

Really nice video. I'm hoping to pick up purple palazzo pants, a great opera tunity, tiramisu for two and it's a piazza cake. I feel like I have dupes in other brands for the rest. You look really lovely, hope the pregnancy is treating you well :)

Venice and California Dreaming are probably my least favorite collections from OPI in recent years. I just don’t get all the light neutrals.. Paris? Maybe? But Venice?! I wanted to see blues and aquas (the water), gold and generally more opulence and richness for this one. Made me super sad to see Venice so misrepresented by OPI. Love the inclusion of the black - it truly is the color Venice’s gondolas are painted in! 🖤🎠🍝 🇮🇹

Oh Phoebe, lovely review as always! Wom OPI sure loves their reds, all 200,000 of them. I love reds too but eeeevveryyy fall/winter collection they seem to release have 3 or more reds. Having said all that I'd probably pick up a few because I love reds and have many dupe of dupes and I have no self control ^___^ Btw, will you be putting up more polish on your Storenvy soon?? That one red OPI amor on the Grand Canal is a beautiful red but it does not top my Coca Cola Red from OPI
Purple palazzo pants is similar to Lucky Lavender and Pandamonium pink. Depends on the lighting. Opi repeats itself way too often lately:(

Oh I love the Opera-tunity one...not usually the biggest fan of nudes but that is gorgeous. One of the only ones that really grabbed me.

"Amore at the Grand Canal" looks very similar to the red that appeared on the "50 Shades of Grey" collection (dont remember the name of the red in particular)

i feel like it is crazy that all these fall and halloween collections are coming out now but i guess that is just the way retail works. i shouldn't be surprised i use to work in retail and july marked the end of sandals and the beginning of boots... yeah... crazy... anyway there are a lot of neutral colors i feel like. i like the purple and the shimmery red one is pretty too. i have heard great things of my bf scales walls so that one is also on my list perhaps that is similar. where did you get these to review so early that's pretty exciting to have them so early. i have just started seeing things about the cg fall and halloween collections and i really want to see reviews on those. :) love you thanks for the review have a great night.

So interested in hearing about your music background and if you play by ear or buy the arrangements to the music you play for the background. Would you consider maybe doing a video on that? I'm a polish hoarder too but an even bigger music lover!
karbari hey there :) I'll just give you a quick run-down on the music side of my channel. I do get asked questions about the music, but probably not often enough to justify a whole video about my process- but you seem sincerely interested. I was classically trained so everything I'm playing is from sight, not from ear. I don't buy the arrangements though because that would get too expensive for me so if I can't find a free copy online, I will see if I can find a tutorial on youtube and then transpose it to sheet music myself using musescore, which is a free downloadable software if you're interested. Everything is usually fluffed to my own style preferences though whether I've found sheet music or not. I do compose my own music as well, but i've found that most ppl enjoy when they recognize the melodies in my videos so for now I mostly stick to covers. As for my recording process- I don't really have the time to play things through more than once before recording however, because I record at home and have to take advantage of when the kids are being quiet so my performances aren't as tidy as I'd like, but I have to give and take as a mom :) I record from my piano- to the app garage band on the ipad, and then upload all my recordings through soundcloud so the quality takes another dive going through a number of mediums. I wish I could afford to invest much more into the quality of my recording process, but that will probably have to wait... That's pretty much the basics of what goes into the music on my channel :) I record on a digital piano in my living room and while nail polish is a fun hobby, music is one of my main passions in life. I'm so glad you enjoy the music. It's a big part of why I enjoy making my videos and it makes me very happy when my viewers can enjoy the music too and it's not just background noise. If there's ever anything you'd like to hear, I take requests and they usually show up on Saturday Swatchfest videos :) xoxo
First- love the Downtown Abbey theme! Secondly, and maybe you have already covered this- but can you show how you cleanup for your still photos? I seem to have problems getting this step done in the way I want my nails to look. The brush always seems to gunk up! Thanks!

Anne Para Hancock hmm not sure, i sometimes flood my cleanup brush with acetone and just wipe it on my hand a bit before i go in. maybe try a different brush? a lot of people like the concealer brush from e.l.f. It could stand to be a bit thinner, but still pretty good

silvianails i think gelato is lighter and less saturated of a pigment. also the formula is a bit thinner
