That Turn on the Northern Lights has got to be the best color in this collection. I see myself wearing that one quite a bit this fall.

Saved some dough skipping Greenland and Geysirs but upgraded to the Infinite Shine formula based on what you said - so thanks so much. I love dark and muted shades so the dupe section is absolutely indispensable.

Thank you for comparing "One Heckla" to "Warm and Toasty Turtleneck"! One Heckla spoke to me and now I know why- Warm and Toasty Turtleneck is one of my favourite colours ever! 😅 now I wonder... do I have to have One Heckla...? I guess I can justify having both 😅 and Turn on the Northern Lights as well... and Less is Norse... 😍

Thank you for the comparison part at the end. It saves me so much money! I had my eye on I'll Have a Gin and Tectonic but I already have Barking Up the Wrong Sequoia so, phew! I've also been wanting a dusty blue like Less is Norse, but Color Club Take a Hike, is cheaper so that part of the video always helps me out. Of course I'm going to have to get Turn On the Northern Lights though. OMG that one is stunning. I'll have to update my must have list.

I only buy the Infinite Shine polishes by OPI. Doing the three steps definitely helps the color last. I love it!

Califragilisticness yeah it's seems pretty sheer. people compare it to clarins 230 which is also really sheer but that doesn't take away from how amazing it is over all. my boyfriend bought me a bottle and I die 4 it. it's amazing. but I never wear it cuz it's too special 😂😂 but yeah that's the reason I've always wanted fantasy fire! but it's hard to find. so I'm glad they made this

Yayyy, have been looking forward to your review! Thank you for this :). I bought Reykjavik Has All the Hot Spots and like it. It's ok for me in two coats, and I don't have anything like it in my collection. I definitely want to pick up Turn on the Northern Lights. The collection is pretty, but not so much wowed by the other polishes.

I just noticed today there are three additional shades listed in this collection on Ulta's website - N - Iceland (dusty pink), The Taupe Of The Iceberg (beige), and Rebel Without A Moss (green). I haven't heard anything about these - Ulta exclusives maybe?! Would love for you to check them out! I'm curious about possible dupes for them. Also saw on Ulta's website the Essie Fall collection!! I'm a little underwhelmed by most of the colors, but really hope you do a review (and comparisons!!) on it!!
I like One Heckla of a Color and Aurora Berry Ali's
Could you do a swatch video comparing 1-2 different colors where you swatch the exact same color in each of the OPI formulas? This would give a full comparison between the two formulas. Maybe even do a wear test to see which chips faster?

I think I will definitely pick up Turn on the Northern Lights, Less is Norse and One Heckler Color. One question though: Did Ulta release three limited edition polishes for this collection? Hi Phoebe! I'm really excited about this collection! Usually opi collections for me are quite boring, reds and pinks etc but these look really up my street especially the purples, greys and that stunning blue!
I've tried the infinite shines before and I found the topcoat tended to drag off the polish underneath, did you get this? I tried to let it dry for a while but I still got the dragging...maybe there's a knack to it?

I had the same issue with the infinite shine topcoat. It also didn't seem to dry very fast (perhaps I'm spoiled by Seche Vite). I've decided to use this topcoat only when I want my polish to 'smear', i.e. gradients.
I'd be curious to see ilnp ruby sky compared to opi turn on the northern lights - I know they have a little different base color but from the swatches the final effect does seem similar to me
Can you PLEASE compare Turn on the Northern Lights to OPI INK, Russian Navy and Cosmo With a Twist?
OPI Infinite Shine is £11.63 in UK. It's $14.95. And I'll get most colours in this collection anyway. You are lucky! XD

I have China Glaze History of the World (as shown in Phoebe's video) and Zoya Kelly - I pulled those out to compare. . . Kelly is a similarly deep color, but much more gray than blue.
I ordered Turn On The Northern Lights because I was so disappointed by CG Sleeping Under The Stars. The others are okay but I'm just not willing to pay that price for them.

Hi Phoebe, I'm wondering if you can suggest a blue gray that is like a slate blue - I prefer OPI but really just want a mid-toned blue gray. The closest I have is Less is Norse but is not quite what I'm looking for. Thank you!
What do you think of infinite shine top coat? Would you recommend it after some time trying?
Of course Polish Pick doesn't ship to Canada... :( I've been starting to get into OPI polishes lately and now there's going to be a price increase! Never buying OPI full price unless the colour and formula are worth it. I'll save my money for indies. A few of those polishes look lovely though.

Tanzil Khan I can remember when opi polish was $6.50 to buy in a salon (early 90s) LoL!!! Companies always do this through the years,if I remember correctly, opi used to do it by 50 cent increments.
Does any of the dark polishes stain?? Especially Turn on the northern lights??
Brooke Amber I bought Turn on the Northern Lights a couple weeks ago. It didn't stain my nails at all. I do wear base coat though. And I would be careful not to get it on your cuticle when removing it too.

This collection is definitely more up my ally than the previous collection, I tend to lean more towards these colours than the reds,pinks and corals. I'd just like to ask about the IS topcoat, I struggle with it, it takes colour off the polish underneath despite plenty drying time and always looks streaky depite trying to use thicker coats and 'floating' the brush, anyone got any tips? Or have I just got a bad bottle? Ps great swatches as always, thank you.
I feel opi really needs to pump up their nail polish to justify the pricing. It's a nice collection..
