After 2 long marriages and not understanding I met someone who finally brought me to my understanding. I wasnt able to put my feelings into words but Seger does. My whole world has changed because I do now have someone who is on my side. I want to thank him for allowing me the privilege of loving him and becoming the woman who'd been inside of me for too many years. I mist up each time I hear this song and I see your face and smile

I saw him in concert way back when. Have tickets to see him now the shows have been postponed which deeply saddens me. Bob Segers music was very much a part of my life and words i so related to. I truly hope he gets better and reschedules his shows. Till then he is a hero of a kind in my mind!! You're the best bob! Your songs and music are amazing and point on.

Hey I worked in a Goodyear plant for some three decade's with a guy a few year's older than me that came from one of the Ford plant's..... Our plant was small like 600 employees and he said the plant he'd worked at used bicycles to traverse the plant floor(s)..... Quiet interesting to me.....

I love that Bob Seger has never allowed fame, money, and arrogance to take over his persona, he's stayed true to who he truly is to his core, just a really down to earth kind of guy who doesn't think he's better than anybody else. He's just a nice dude who knows how to write really meaningful songs and delivers them with a soulful, raspy, rock n roll voice that soothes our souls or gets us dancing. He's gotten us thru some really hard times, and he's celebrated with us thru some really great times with his music. I've been a fan since 1976 and I've made sure my kids are fans to, thanks for the great music and memories Bob.
You get to the point in your life where you start to see things as they really are. Circumstances , lessons learned , people...sigh...I totally get this song.

Yup...When my friends were listening to Donny Osmand I was listening to Seger, of course I had some Cocker and Joplin in there however Bob Seger has been and remained my ultimate favorite artist. My first album, on vinyl of course was Back in 72, released in 73. I have owned every single album since, yes c.d.s as well as vinyl went out but it's BACK......Incredible artist who's shoes could never be filled, pure raw, undeniable talent. Man I am so happy I am a product of this era.......

I too grew up listening to one of rock N roll's best. The 1 & only BOB SEGER. Every single record BOB SEGER has made is Brilliantly written, I can not think of one song by Bob Seger that I do not like. I do have my favorites though but still again I like ALL of his music. Bob Segers music is some of the BEST music I have ever heard. I've been a Bob Seger fan for most of my life and I will be until the day I die.
These words of Seger's " Understanding " were actually quoted by a Newscaster Kevin Newman on a CANADIAN news channel as the man and words that inspired him. And Hey Bob , that is kicking Ass ! To be quoted by one of our top Newscaster's !

5 albums of Bob Seger and I wear my EarPods and rock out and cruise on the Harley. Am going to introduce your singer to them! Did you know that Bob Seger also rides a Harley to his concerts and parks it on the back stage. He moved last year from Detroit, Michigan and he brought his world renoun saxophone player Alto Reed who was Bob Seger’s best friend. They had left Bob’s Michigan mansion and they moved to Naples, FL!! He unfortunately lost Alto Reed, his best friend and #1 saxophone player to colon cancer in 2020! Bob has decided to continue touring and doing his music. I get daily posts from his group and they update me on everything going on with Bob. Hope you get to see him soon. Just saw Bob in Saginaw MI on 1-3-19 , Enjoyed his music in my teen yrs, then when I had kid's they were raised on his music . He is fantastic you can feel in his performance that he cares for his audience. It was GREAT, GREAT,GREAT!!!!.
I have always known Bob Seger's name but never really listened to his music. Living in England and later South Africa he is not so known outside America.
But I am now impressed having appreciated the wonderful songs he writes, the fabulous melodies and very importantly the lyrics which always tell a story and have meaning.
