🇩🇪 AUGSBURG | 4K | CHRISTKINDLESMARKT | A walking tour through the traditional christmas market

Christmas markets are the hallmark of German cities' holiday season. Because of the pandemic, the last Christmas market held in Augsburg was in 2019, which increased the expectation and pent-up demand of the population for such an event.
In standard German (Hochdeutsch) they are called Weihnachtsmarkt, however, there are regional variants such as Striezelmarkt (Dresden), Christkindlmarkt (Bavaria and Austria), and Christkindlesmarkt (Schwaben and Franken).
Several stalls sell Christmas decorations, winter clothes, and typical food for this time of the year, like gingerbread hearts and mulled wine.
