I was stationed in Japan for three years and would routinely visit the Shibuya Craft House and now own two guitars out of there. God I love ESP. I have an early serial number ESP USA Eclipse and the US made guitars are amazing. I had to part with a guitar to fund my wedding reception and it was between my Gibson LP Custom and my ESP and guess which one bit the dust.. that's right. The Gibson and my ESP axes filled that void no problem. ESP ALL DAY
Stratking01 That sounds very interesting! Would you be willing to share your experiences on UA-cam about it?
I ordered a custom guitar that is being built here, and I can't wait to get it. It's like waiting for christmas for almost a year. It's going to be raaad!
Those Are The most beautiful guitars i have ever seen
Best respect to all ESP japanese guitar master-hands!
Dream job right there! These guys are true world masters of the craft!
I think my heart actually stopped a couple of times during this video.
2 more years for 50 anniversary, it'll be special
I have an EC-50 from 2006, made in Indonesia. It sounds so tight and full. I choose that every time to record music
Fantastic Japanese art.
proud owner of a japanese esp horizon 3 standard, pearl white. best guitar i've ever played, i mean, to me its better than gibsons, period
I recently bought an E-ii mystique blk fr. The e-ii's are the best kept secret out there. It should be named ESP mystique standard. It's pro level at an easier price. Killer pick ups for all kinds of tones. The ebony fretboard is flawless. All black hardware gives it a stealthy look. Just an overall bitchin' rocking very well made guitar.
Billy Shears What exactly is an eii? where does it line up with the other esp lines like Ltd and USA?
Shivjeet....what they now call E-ii was the old ESP standard. They are made in Japan and are high quality. The difference is they are 'mass produced', where the ESP's are hand made....thus the difference in cost. I made a few videos about this guitar with a couple different amps. Check out my channel to view
Billy Shears I completely agree with you about the E-II's being the best kept secret. However, I think the bigger secret is they are made the same as the USA and custom stuff but Shhhh 🤐 don't tell anyone 😉
some fine art is going on right there!!! keep up with the good work guys!
Incredible job _ Fabulous :D and the iron cross even if I own one I have the same happiness to see it every time _
I am amazed. Such wonderful artistry!
Pure art and technology
Very beatifull video and the guitars are amazing. Bonito video y las guitarras son preciosas algunas autenticas obras de arte
Esp puts gibson to shame every time:)
The 11 dislikes probably are from Gibson employees XD
My vintage ESP M-1 from the 1980's may have come from this factory
Pure art. Just awesome..
1:06 Metallica poster on the wall
i cry because i will never be perfect as the japanese...they are gods!
fucking weeaboo
Yes they sure do there quality is way above gibsons now
ESP should focus on their LTD line for 2016 and offer different finishes for the MH and M series as well as whatever else they feel would be cool. They will have my money once they introduce an M1000 with a brown desert burst finish with a flame top.
Gibson and Fender CEOs don't like this
ESP is the only guitar I am willing to pay over 1000$ all the rest doesn't cost more than that.
wow
I wander what would someone has to study, in order to make these cool things for a leaving? Carpentry maybe? Industrial design, perhaps? I wish i could do this for a living. Seems so inspirational.
1:52 / 4:25 Look at that beautiful Iron Cross
worker t shirts are pretty sick 😁
WOW !!!!
Awesome
this backsound make me cry
ESP Is The Best !!! But it cost a lot of $$$$$$$$ ! Got an LTD !!! Still love it :)
1:48 coating a ESP [003] aiji model :DD
I wander what you can study to make this for a living.
E S P ! ! !

I wander what should somebody study in order to do this for a living? Carpentry maybe? Industrial disign, perhaps? Anyone knows?
Can you show a Video of the Ltd factory in Indonesia?
Isn't the LTD made in Korea?

Yea that's weird an epiphone bag at 2:12
3:42 is fucking awesome
What's the song?
why is there a 80s charvelon the wall/
lol does anyone know why there is an epiphone bag at 2:12?
maybe a customer send their ESP back to the shop for repair in an epiphone bag, who knows?
This is a very old story. But it is related to an ABSOLUTELY NOT MADE UP adventure that an ESP worker had in the early 90's. The daughter of the ESP chief, Kotori chan, was kidnapped by an evil employee of Epiphone that wanted to steal from her "the secret to make good guitars". So they sent one of their worker, Mr. Kawashima, in China, to take her back home. He battled with dragons, armed soliders, communist fanatics, ghouls, and, finally in the dungeon of Wei castle, he submitted the evil emperor of Epiphone and freed the young beautiful Kotori.
But he wanted a thing to remember this adventure for his future childrens, so he chopped off the head of the evil Epiphone emperor and putted the head into an Epiphone bag. And this bag stays in the ESP factory until today, as a warning and a proof, that ESP rules Epiphone's ass.
The End
Ace Alvarez probably to wipe up any shit on the floor
Bob Outélama brilliant
Must be their door mat. .
3:12 music name??
Japanese hand craft at its best! Too bad special woods are no longer an option...
Brian Head Welch brought me here.
最中意arrow系列
Go back to the old Forest style headstock shape please :( The new one that's mainly on the FRX looks pretty ugly....
cooo
what? they didnt smelt their own steel and have someone chisel frets out of it? cheap! plus where are the no finish guitars, straight off the cnc machine where you gotta work the splinters off with your skin, thats a real guitar, one without pickups where you stick a bunch of wires on the string and stick the other ends into an electrical socket, now youre fired up and ready to rock!
I wander what would someone has to study, in order to make these cool things for a leaving? Carpentry maybe? Industrial design, perhaps? I wish i could do this for a living. Seems so inspirational.
They have a school over there for it.
I wander what you can study to make this for a living.
+rickmangler really :0
+rickmangler Will from Wills easy guitar on you tube (he's the owner of Gelvin guitars) made an amazing video series on it (you can buy it on the gelvin website),it shows absolutely everything,it costs but you won't be disappointed. Darkluthier did a cool youtube build too.
I assume you live in America where trade schools like luthier schools are basically extinct. In Japan, ESP has guitar craft academies and that's mainly where they hire their luthiers and craftsman from. Although the ESP-owned Musician's Institute in Hollywood has a guitar craft academy as well.
