Hello Friend, what an amazing restoration ! This US Strat has regained its original beauty grace to your astounding skill ! Not to mention any tiny detail like the label beneath the pickguard. Any of your videos are great moments of delight, thank you for enjoying everyone, see you soon !
That is TRUE recyclying! You threw out the pick guard and the knobs and that is it. (For good reason.) Now that guitar is ready for another 50+ years of enjoyment. Nice job on the screws and all the metal parts. Amazing work!
Asyl, this is aweome. I especially appreciate how you left the headstock slightly scarred in memory of the guitars prior experience as a testing ground for a blowtorch. You are the man.
Wonderful restoration but even better choices of riffs to demonstrate it with! I thought riffs in other videos sounded Rodan-like and hearing slint on this one confirms to me that I enjoy your playing as much as your repair/restoration!
Gorgeous restoration - so happy that you decided to go back to its aged natural finish look... such lovely wood grain - always feel bad to see it covered up with paint - especially after all of what this one went thru... Great job !
That was beautiful, great restoration job! It hacks me off to no end that someone would let a USA made Fender Strat get that decrepit, but your restoration saved it! Hopefully the next person who owns it will appreciate it all the more.
I agree, it gave it so much character. The guitar was actually pretty cool all burnt up, with a matching melted neck. You can still see the fender logo fine I think it would've been cool to keep it all burnt up but obviously that's going to hurt the resale...I'm sure his intention was to sell it after restoring it. Just looks very basic after the restore. But on the bright side there's virtually no trace it was ever burned up. Personally, I would've kept it in its burned state. It tells a story and gives the guitar alot of character...
@@diddydoo5299 Right? Some pretty bad ass character. It’s really no different than an extremely relic’ed guitar but with very uncommon wear. I bet if Fender made a “Melted Strat” as a custom shop limited run they would sell out instantly for thousands a piece. 🤣
In 1921, Myra Brooks Welch wrote a poem called “The Touch of the Master’s Hand”. The poem tells the story of an old and battered violin that was to be auctioned but the highest bid the auctioneer could get for the instrument was a mere $3. That is, until a master violinist stepped forward and played the violin. It sounded so beautiful in his hands that it eventually sold in the auction for $3,000. You are the master today. You salvaged a rare, 60th anniversary Stratocaster that had been abused, neglected, and set on fire. You turned a tragedy into a treasure. Congratulations!
I love your channel and your work. One comment I would make: I'd love to know the names of the products you are using and English captions would much appreciated. Keep up the incredible restoration work!!!
On the end of the guitar where you put in dowels where the strap buttons had broken off, if you have that situation again, I would suggest putting the body in a vise and routing a groove and then install a piece of matching wood. Great work overall!
Beautiful job and craftsmanship. Wish you would have gotten rid of the orange peel effect in the paint. More wet sanding and spraying the clear coat indoors were needed.
I'm not a Fender fan by any means. But the burn scars on this guitar before you started looked cool. But! You did make look brand new!! Standing Ovation to you. Keep up the great work!
Is very interesting than in 2006, the American Deluxe Strat bodies were made in Mexico. The little round holes in neck pocket and under pickguard are specific for the cnc in mexican Fender factory.
I winced at the sight of that American made beauty in such sad shape! But as always, you resurrected it and made it breathe and walk and run again, as I knew you would. Great work as always! 私は、そのアメリカ人が美しさをこのような悲しい形で見せて顔をしかめました!しかし、いつものように、あなたはそれを復活させ、あなたが知っていたように、それを呼吸して歩き、再び走らせました。いつものように素晴らしい仕事!
If possible, could you use microphone for the sound test segment instead of using the iPhone built in microphone? This will immediately increase the watching experience. And for the restoration part - extreme professionalism, as always! Thank you for your videos.
El relic natural aveces puede verse hermoso, pero hecho a proposito y no por un profesional se ve desastroso. La restauracion es simplemente hermosa. Me deleito en estos videos. Un magnifico trabajo.
Your work is amazing. These videos are not only informative and interesting but also very relaxing. I love watching old beat up instruments be transformed into something new and beautiful.
great work! when extracting the bridge anchors, have you tried dropping in a small screw in to the hole and then tightening in the original bridge post thats how i usually pull out those threaded inserts on gibsons, its done in seconds and doesnt leave any bruises.
It's really messed up that someone would abuse a US made 60th anniversary model like that.😵 Another outstanding restoration my friend!👍👍

This is the second restoration video you’ve played Slint riffs! Well done
Awesome restoration and I was pleasantly surprised to see you play some Birds in Row at the end.

If you asked me if it would be possible to restore it I would say to much damage but WOW very cool skills well done
完成後の演奏コーナーも楽しみです、スリント、シェラック良いですね。

Stratocaster is such a timelessly elegant beautiful machine. This Phenix rose from the ashes
Asyl, this is aweome. I especially appreciate how you left the headstock slightly scarred in memory of the guitars prior experience as a testing ground for a blowtorch. You are the man.
At first I was thinking fix the headstock. Then when it all came together it is perfect.
Love the Slint riff! And an awesome renovation as well
You did such an incredible job restoring this guitar, and then you went and played Slint and Birds In Row! Incredible!
He probably burnt it in the first place😂
Love the natural wood look. Great job! 👍
Ficou nova e com som muito bonito.
Damn nice to hear some Mineral in that demo
Wonderful restoration but even better choices of riffs to demonstrate it with! I thought riffs in other videos sounded Rodan-like and hearing slint on this one confirms to me that I enjoy your playing as much as your repair/restoration!
fantastic detailed restoration job. beautiful guitar now

Probably a teenager.
It's a 2006 American Deluxe.
Amazing work and your attention to detail is bar none. I'm truly impressed. Keep on keeping on
Wow I never thought a tortoise shell pickgaurd would look so cool partially melted like that!

It’s tree burl, not tortoise shell

Νο, damaged guitars don't look cool to me. A skilful restoration like this here is cool.
@@theo9952 what "is cool" is up to interpretation. To each their own.
Watching the whole process is incredibly mesmerizing and satisfying until the guy starts playing.
Loved it when you started playing Botch lol. Great video!!

Great work on this guitar. You made it beautiful again and the wood was really nice. You did an awesome job on the restoration of this guitar. 🤩👍
the burnt pickguard was kinda cool tho, maybe it could be scalvaged? Great video btw. New comfort channel hehehe
WOW nice work on that one you brang it back from the dead.
So glad I found this channel, I can tell you love these guitar by the care and effort you put in to them. Beautiful work my friend.

The name and time of the solvent used is displayed in the summary section of the latest video. Please take a look if you like.
You did an awesome job restoring this gem man. So glad you decided to give a more natural aged finish look.. Preserve all the beautiful wood grain.
the guitars gods be pleased and it plays very nicely
On the end of the guitar where you put in dowels where the strap buttons had broken off, if you have that situation again, I would suggest putting the body in a vise and routing a groove and then install a piece of matching wood. Great work overall!
And you played Slint! That was very unexpected. The guitar looks great.
“Slint” What is the meaning of slint???
I do not understand why anyone would choose to abuse a classic Strat like this. Your restoration is beautiful. We’ll done!
It's not a classic its an ash lite from 2006 ish
Maybe he was playing some Jimi Hendrix
funny. I don't understand why anyone would want to restore a testament to rock and roll like a burnt guitar !!!
@@danrleiluiz1997 someone being too intense while cosplaying jimi hendrix
So they can "restore" it for youtube views.
That is a horrible way to treat a 60th Anniversary guitar. Nice job, man!
I'm SO glad you rewired that mess. You have great skill!
What a gorgeous refurb! But the Slint at the end is the real treat.
That Strat should be called “The Phoenix.” It arose from the ashes. Excellent work!
corny ahh niqqa
Slint and Shellac at the end... cherry on top. Great work!
Really looks nice now
wow it turned out nice i like how the burnt part scraps right off another guitar id be happy to own
Wow! You worked some magic on this guitar. Great job
Amazing video!!!!
Beautiful job and craftsmanship. Wish you would have gotten rid of the orange peel effect in the paint. More wet sanding and spraying the clear coat indoors were needed.
Hi,
I really love Your Work! I look at the Strat and wonder about the story behind...
Keep on Your good work, thanx for showing!
I'm not a Fender fan by any means. But the burn scars on this guitar before you started looked cool. But! You did make look brand new!! Standing Ovation to you. Keep up the great work!
Ouch!!😢.. Beautiful gorgeous guitar now 😮
My favorite video of yours so far. Nice job!!
ギター喜んでますよ.素晴らしい。
Pretty good paint finish for outside in the wind ..
But fan of the natural finish to show off the beautiful wood. How much did you sell this for?
i love the restoration, but i dont understand why more people dont like the beat up look
Awesome job but why do the saddles not have the fender name on them?
Sure would be nice to find a 2006 Fender Deluxe Strat like that... Nice job

Outstanding restoration of a badly damaged strat. That ole gal deserved to be treated with the respect to gave her.
Good Job. Humbly request a TRANSLATION of those bottle labels though. Also, how many layers of lacquer/ varnish on the body.
Great work, now it looks so much better and probably plays better too. Well done and great job, well done.
A wonderful restoration once again. Well done.
I mean, great job! Nice to whatch you work. But as it was, burnt, it was just beautiful!!! I am gonna buy a cheap one and try to make it burnt!
An absolutely stunning transformation. First class job here in bringing that guitar back to being beautiful. Great work.
What a way to treat a real Made in America Fender Guitar!
Great work! I really like that you left the marks on the headstock, Adds character and history.
Its very relaxing to watch you working. Pls add more videos, great job!
Love that you decided NOT to paint it…that stain and lacquer finish really makes that alder grain pop. Wonderful job, as usual.
Not to bad of fire damage, I think it would have looks sweet with the burn damage made into like a lava flow. Nice job on it also
Heartening to see a fender strat restored like that, immaculate work.
Nice to see an actual US Fender and not a cheap foreign knock-off.

One of my favorite Strat color combos. Well done.
Best one of yours I've seen to date! It came out so beautiful. Fant
Beautiful job very nice finish on that Stratocaster
I would have loved to see the burned parts preserved, it was so peculiar.
For what reason? Preserved how?
Cause he took a blow torch to it, fire doesn't act like that.
You are a magician... I suppose that in order to refinish a guitar like this we need top $$$ ... Nice work
This might sound random, but I like your soldering. 🙂 I've seen so many bad solder joints.
Some might gasp in horror at this removal of "extreme relic'ing." Great work, and great restoration!
Я ахнул
That's not extreme relicing-it's dumbassery 😂
One of your best restorations yet man keep up the awesome work!
love that we got some Slint riffs in the last two vids...
Congrats not only for the restoration job, but for all the love you gave to that guitar. All that guitar needed Was love.
From Jimi Hendrix back to new! Well done!
Great restauration. But I would have kept the burnt knobs and scratchplate, to preserve the guitar’s history.
How can anybody distroy such a beautiful instrument. Unbelievable. You did a good job. Thank you. I learned a lot.
indeed,
It could have been accidental

I always come for the restoration but stay for the riffs. Love the botch at the end
Some of your better work! Nice job.
Nice job, but a USA pickguard should have been used because one of the screws is not in the right position. (above middle pickup)

Like how you left the burn marks on the headstock & didn't go deeper with that piece of the resto,... those scars tell a story.
