I have a FGN Mythic model. It is the finest guitar I've ever touched. There is no fault at all to be found. Watching documentaries about FGN what struck me the most was the level of pride and professionalism the workers have. Even if their task seems simple, they seem to me to put huge effort to ensure perfection. You have a lifelong customer now.
These brilliant people make some of the best guitars in the world. No one makes guitars of this caliber for this kind of money. Hats off to everyone who works here, can't thank them enough.
I am very fortunate to own a guitar produced in this factory and I am constantly reminded of the attention to detail that went into its creation every time I play it. Thank you Fujigen!
Its an older epiphone Les Paul elitist, and its a wonderful guitar. Had to make the tough decision of selling a guitar last year and ended up letting a Gibson Les paul go and the fujigen stayed.... so yeah, they make a good guitar.
EZ Assegai 2 years late but whatevs. They made guitars for a huge amount of companies. More than I could name. Ibanez & Tama, Epiphone, Washburn, and many japanese brands.
I have an Ibanez Prestige from this plant. It IS THE best feeling / playing guitar I own! Stainless frets are incredible. I've been playing for 30 years, I have had MANY , still have 9.... The Prestige is still my number 1
Everything this guy says is eerily true. I have a fujigen Jackson, and its the most resonant guitar i own. Sustain for days. Best craftsmanship i have ever seen on any guitar. Plays and sounds like.... unreal. These people don't disappoint. Thats for sure.
Thank you Fujigen for the commitment, care and craftsmanship with which you made my LS-20 Neo Classic Les Paul. It is an honor to own a product coming from your hands.
I own a 93/94 Fujigen-made Squier Silver Series strat, and it is just a superb guitar to play. Without doubt one of the best guitars Ive owned in over 45 years of playing.
I own two guitars by these guys, a FGN Neo Classic LP and a History LP. Both are incredible guitars and the workmanship is world class. I probably won’t buy a different brand again.
I just purchased a History LP too, and I feel the exact same. I just want more out of this factory. This Les Paul, put my 2001 Gibson custom to shame. Everything I had expected from Gibson, I found with an instrument built in this factory. Proud owner, and will continue to play authentic instruments that feel and play like they were built with love and passion. Pun intended, lmao. I hate Gibson now. 😂
I've had my eye on a History Tele that I played and immediately could feel the quality of. I definitely need to go back to the shop and get it, its easily one of the best guitars I've ever had my hands on.
Just bought my first FGN Odyssey expert today. It’s flawless, I couldn’t find a single fault. Sounds and plays fantastic. I’m baffled at how well it’s built. Unbelievable 👌
I just bought my first FGN LC-10 in white yesterday. I tried out different brands as my goal was to get a Les Paul Custom model in white. I played a Maybach, Gibson and FGN. Maybach and Gibson were great but the FGN just blow me away and I choose it over the other two guitars. Amazing guitar with killer sound, looks, playability and craftmanship. If this brand would have the same prestige as Gibson, they could easily sell their guitars at the same price. I recommend everyone to try them out. The guitar is full with liitel details that are just found at a real supreme instrument. Thanks FGN!
Recently I bought a FGN JMY and it's finally something under Fujigen's own brand. Also I have four Greco/Gracy/Orville guitars which are all made by Fujigen between 70s and 90s. Thank you for your superb work!!
I have 4 JV basses built at Fujigen factory between 1974 and 1982. Each one shows premium quality craftsmanship, and some strikingly so. All keepers, each seemingly better than the average example of the original American instruments from same era. And they are also just cooler.
I just got a NLS10RMPTB in yesterday and I feel like I did these guys dirty for the price I paid. The documentary has a slightly awkward feel but it makes me like them even more - no-nonsense guitar building at the highest level without unnecessary money spent on marketing. Fujigen, named after the tallest mountain Japan to represent the highest quality guitars - these guys set the bar high and sure smashed it.
I have an Ibanez Soundgear Prestige Bass that was made in this factory in April of 2016. It is hands down one of the finest instruments I have ever seen, and the best in my collection. It looks, sounds and plays beautifully. The fit and finish is PERFECT. I love the feel of it in my hands, and the sound of it in my ears. I also have a 1990 Ibanez Soundgear SR800 that was produced in this factory. That bass was a workhorse for 25 years, and still sounds great, just needs new frets.
thanks for sharing the video.... Have a FGN 70s Jazz Bass, a FGN Expert FLX (P90 in Neck position) and recently bought a FGN Expert Odyssey (HSS)... Best Guitars!
I bought an fender aerodyne guitar that was made in Fujigen. It is really amazing. Hard to describe but its a special feeling to hold it. I am sure i can spot it in a blind test.
My Fujigen Jaguar from 1990 is the greatest guitar i have ever known! the neck is unreal! many have told me its the best neck they felt, and best playing jag they have handled! Nothing from the current american fender line comes close to my jag is! Im very blessed and ill never sell it!
I Happily traded my USA Les Paul & Tele for their Japanese versions, both made by Fujigen in 1984/85. It's my personal opinion that these early Fenders & Greco's are better made instruments and more accurate reproductions of the original designs. For me it's the only way to acquire a vintage spec guitar without having to deal with USA custom shops. Truly great stuff.
FGN великолепные гитары. Хорошее дерево, хорошая фурнитура, аккуратная сборка, покраска. Превосходное звучание. Такого качества больше ни у одного производителя серийных гитар нет.
I am just learning of the depth of heritage of the incredibly talented luthier's the Japan has produced. Entirely charmed with all i am learning. I just bought a 1981 tokai ss38 and I am eagerly awaiting its arrival. I would LOVE to see some footage of the fujigen factory and the luthiers doing the work in the 1970s. Does anyone have any links they could share? Greatly appreciated.
I have two aria guitars from this company from the 80's still play like new super well made every bit as good as any of my many guitars fender prs usa models esp epiphone etc i see why thay have good resale
I've got Fujigen-made guitars across 3 different brands, and they're all excellent products, be they Fenders, Ibanez, or their own FGN brand. They've become my go-to guitars over the years, even over my ESP Original Series and American Fenders (not to say that either of those two are bad, I've just been on a weird bolt-on Japanese guitar kick for the few years. I blame my Prestige Talmans).
Domi origato for my fugigen '87 squier strat!! It's white & it plays like a dream, I like nothing better than to kick back with some fine herb & a little tequila oj & plug into my Fender champ 100, I nicknamed "Little beef". My guitar I nicknamed ""White dove", I guarantee it's the best way to say FTW!! lol!!
I'm buying the RG550 Genesis...I'm getting the white one, will be ordering in about a month or so. I have to payoff my POD HD PRO X first...then I'm ordering the 550, I can't wait!!!
I was thinking buying a Yamaha Revstar RSP20CR, but I'm not sure, because it is an expensive guitar, but still not impossible. Now I'm leaning towards FGN.
I own a left-handed fender stratocaster which according to its s/n must be from 1989-90. How could I know for sure that it was manufactured in this factory?
hello i have a stratocaster made in JAPAN serial C can you say me if it was manufactured in your factory on fujigen?I think it was manufactured between 1984 and 1986, what you think about this?
I have a great Fender Japanese Stratocaster, I love it but i am trying to find out what D G F means in the neck pocket? The model is ‘62 re issue. I hope someone can help.regards Nick
Can't speak highly enough of these guitars. picked up a FGN Masterfield p90 (cut down ES 335/330 cross in black with gold hardware) in Lucky Fret London a few months back and haven't stopped playing it, even with custom shop Fender and Gibson guitars in the collection. I knew nothing about the brand when I walked into the shop, I just thought it looked cool and gave it a go. Don't be put off by the shitty acting in the video. If you get the opportunity to play one of these take it. you won't be disappointed.
Anyone have any idea what a fuji classical guitar might be worth? Picked one up in a second hand shop for £40 and the action is so nice its an absolute pleasure to play 🙂
I am not very fan of the fenders made in the USA, although my PBass is a fender but it is Japanese .. incredible that has been built in this factory. Is from the E series, Why FUJIGEN started with the letter E and not with the A, does anyone know anything about the E series?
They are not very supportive to lefties... very small quantity/ styles for lefties I want to custom make an fgn efl-hm and they reject it.... how can such a big factory not able to make.... or do they only care for business/ money worth of making a left handed guitar? On the other hand tokai were alot helpful Fujigen if interested in making me a lefty... contact me

What model do you have? I'm thinking about getting a neo classic strat but I have to order online so I can't get my hands on one. Thanks.
Its an older epiphone Les Paul elitist, and its a wonderful guitar. Had to make the tough decision of selling a guitar last year and ended up letting a Gibson Les paul go and the fujigen stayed.... so yeah, they make a good guitar.
So FGN used to make epiphone? Who else were/are they producing for?
me too I have Ibanez JEM and Strat
EZ Assegai 2 years late but whatevs. They made guitars for a huge amount of companies. More than I could name. Ibanez & Tama, Epiphone, Washburn, and many japanese brands.
This is where my Ibanez GB10 was built,........ I marvel at it every time I pick it up. an incredible instrument, the best neck I've ever felt.

Anything out of this factory is better than Gibson...

Domo arigato.
great guitars :)
hi may i know if is it possible to visit your factory but i am just a normal traveler?
Ciao, ce l'hai ancora? A distanza di mesi ne consiglieresti ancora l'acquisto? Ci sto facendo un serio pensierino per natale 🎸🎸
Why did the price for the Illard in Germany have to rise from €719 to €999?
Same answer to everything today.
"Weil es die schuld Wegen Corona ist"

Отличные гитары выпускают, сам играю на Boundary Iliad, супер🎉
Anyone have any idea what a fuji classical guitar might be worth? Picked one up in a second hand shop for £40 and the action is so nice its an absolute pleasure to play 🙂
Pretty sure they started out making classical guitars before electric guitars, for £40 you have an absolute steal and a possible vintage guitar.
GAMEOAKESY Thanks for the info. Much appreciated 😊

Michael Knight92 I believe E stood for eighties. Rock on!
Did anyone else notice the guy sleeping on the forklift about 6 mins in. He's fired lol
So... When making necks CNC is bad, but when making bodies CNC gives confident high quality?
I just love my '86 FGN squier strat, I run it through a Fender champion 100 amp. CREAMY & DREAMY!!
Is it an e series? I had both a fender and a (sold) Squier I found for $150.
With all the handmade things how can they offer a bass vor ¥88,000?
Ibanez?
Fujigen used to make Ibanez guitars.
Fujigen was original equipment manufacture brand.
Japanese make the best guitar period
I always hear "GUCCI GANG"
when this guy makes a mistake playing hes like FGN GUITAR !!
Everybody is using CNC machines !!!
They are not very supportive to lefties... very small quantity/ styles for lefties

In the meantime, even the cheapest models have become too expensive.

The video would have been better with a professional voice-over instead of those two characters.
I'm just gonna say it (because nobody else has). The actors are hilariously bad. Great guitars, though.
That is the least important aspect of the video. That is why no one else has commented about it other than you.
