I had to sell both kidneys to do it, but I had them build me an M-1 in a satin LynchBurst about two years ago. I'm almost afraid to play it because it's so beautiful. Unbelievable fit and finish. If you can swing it financially, it's an amazing musical investment.
Affording a custom shop is so far from reality for me. I count myself extremely lucky to have bought my dream guitar in 1999, a '94 KH2. Still my dream guitar all these years later.
Does anyone know how they put graphics on guitars such as the ones seen on Signature Models? Such as Kirk Hammett's guitars (particularly the KH-3 Spider, Karloff Mummy, and White Zombie guitars), Will Adler's Warbird, and George Lynch's Kamikaze? Would love to know for my own projects...
I'll second the "what a series of videos" comments-my jaw literally dropped! I was about to buy a vintage natural USA ESP Eclipse, but the the Russian Invasion happened, which, trust me, is a lot more violent than the British one 🤣 Lost my business, the guitar price went up 40%. At least there's not a huge line of folks to buy that guitar haha!
Great video man. Let me tell you, I have always admired ESP but the necks never moved with me. Maybe its all from my bro in high school who had an ESP 7 string that just didn't feel right to me. But to be honest I'm a Jackson and Carvin guy.
I swear since they both got masks and long hair it's almost like they're twins except one has a British accent and the other has an American accent lol.
Custom shop my arse. The Japanese ESP custom shop is a real custom shop, they will build you anything as long as you pay a small fortune for it. The US pseudo- "custom shop" doesn´t even allow you to get certain specs on your builds. For example, the Horizon model is only available with a hard tail here, while the Japanese, proper custom shop lets you choose whatever type of fixed or tremolo bridge unit you want. Same with pickups and many other specs.
Tone wood absolutely makes a difference in tonality. I don't know who started this it doesn't matter but they arent very smart nor is their ear any good
Wood doesn’t mean anything in guitar tone. I am so tired of non pro people acting like it’s that big of a deal….😂 just kidding. Someone immediately got triggered though and was ready to jump. 😅

how much did it run you
@@dresixx92102ha!😱🤣
@@dresixx92102enough to sell both kidneys. Just looked it up and they're like at least $3500.
How much did it cost and how long did it take them to make it? I am seriously considering doing this

Those gold splatters are straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dagen this was amazing man ,yup ESP is the bomb already configured mine a few times 😆 I Will make one mine some day soon 😀
What a series of videos! Very interesting and very special for those loving guitars.
Glad you enjoyed them Antonio, thank you for watching! 🤘
Ok that black an gold splatter is a dirty boi
There is only one original ESP
and that’s ESP 🇯🇵 since 1975
My fav esp is the full body eclipse..theres so sick
"Trickles down to the Japanese stuff." My good sir, you have it the wrong way around.
ESP was started in Japan in 1975. USA 2013... I think he had it right.
Really love those gold and blood splatters they have right now
Gold splatter is DOPE
Will esp custom shop be able to do a baritone 6 string ?
ESP are my other favorite guitars out there for me it is Schecter and ESP love both guitar companies and guitars! thanks for the video!
A truly awesome brand! 🔥
@@PMTVUK yes they are!
What kind of satin finish does esp usa use anyone known does it rub out to a shine over time like other satin finishes do?
50 Cent approves the Candy Shop. :) Phenomenal work at ESP USA Studio.
How does one go about acquiring one of these in the UK?
Heyy, my LTD-MH1000 has exactly that paintjob on it. 23:19

Beautiful guitars , I have an early 80s , ESP Japan from48th St customs NYC , the best !
American esp is just a guitar, while the Japanese made its a piece of art and masterpiece 🤘
Hey my friend works there awesome place great friendly people who really care and go above and beyond to do our guitars
Is it still possible today to order a black Explorer MX 2 model, exactly the same as those used by James Hetfield in the early 90s?
no thats only in Japan

Does esp do nitro finish?
Nope. Nitro is far inferior to polys. You'll never seen a modern ESP turn yellow and crack within 5 years.
Dagan custom when?
😱👀
Nice to hear Gary Holt Mentioned

Genuinely surprised to see how small the facility is
Some customers have to wait for upto 2 year's for their USA custom. Hand made not many are built each year. Don't need a large factory
The price… impossible for me
I swear since they both got masks and long hair it's almost like they're twins except one has a British accent and the other has an American accent lol.
I’m gonna have them design me a guitar based on the nevan from dmc3
My ESP USA M-II Custom Shop guitar is year 2000/2001?
IMO these new ESP USA are different and lesser? No longer hand built, not like the early 2000's.
Custom shop my arse.

Such awesome guitars. Just sucks they are so far out of reach for the average Joe to ever afford. But they are beautiful none the less.
I wonder why this video is so terrible. Love ESP but couldn't watch more than a couple minutes of it. Peace out.
Yall hiring? 😂
Noice!!
19:00 Dagan reveals his true self again.
ESP is the shit!
Oh yeah! 🤘
Nothing compared to the finishes that Japan does, this is... ok...
Tone wood absolutely makes a difference in tonality. I don't know who started this it doesn't matter but they arent very smart nor is their ear any good
An american made ESP is as weird as an american made Ibanez. Just doesn’t feel real.
I love how masks are more important than safety glasses. 🤣
Why are they wearing masks?
It's CALIFORNIA. They haven't figured out Covid's been over for more than a year now.
Take the damn masks off!
Good grief with the masks
LOL....essentially GLP design, ripoffs! Fucking unreal...

Tone wood is a myth.
