I have a question, the drop shadow and emboss is just for the mockup right? If the client wants to get the foil business card then do we need to add the foil texture to the logo or do we just give them a black coloured logo and then they will tell the printer to make it gold foiled?
Yes this is for mockup if you need so mention the gold foil area and tell the printer to make it gold foiled. Thanks

I am using Adobe Illustrator for creating Business card artwork & using Adobe Photoshop for creating 3d mockup...
Yes this is special printing on Specific areas like Loin is Gold Foil.
Nice design, but how do you translate it to a hard copy? Looking emboss and being emboss are two different things.

It certainly is possible, I do this for a living.
You would have to create one foil die and one emboss die
Please share your email i will send you editable files then you will share this file to printing vendor. he will work on foil & embossing die and. Thanks

All you would need to do is, create two files. The foil die would be a black filled image with no details, the foil colour is selected at the foil stamping press. The emboss die has the full image with all it’s details. You can send these two files to a company in you area that produces quarter inch magnesium dies. Or simply send the (two separate files) directly to the Foil & Emboss Company.

How come your logo doesn't become all pixelated when you paste it in Photoshop?
Because it's vector file...
But like.. how do you print it ?
Design your card and sent card files to printer and mention the gold foil area.... Printer will do it. Thanks
