Just found this, great tutorial. Followed the steps and getting the embossed effect but the colors are not silver, they remained black. What am I missing?
@@BLTV_Photoshop starting with a black font and when I was done the font was still black but the embossed effect was there, so close to getting the look I want! May have missed the step at 6:17 mark of setting Brightness to 60% when setting hexadecimal to 999999. The other spot I had an issue was at the 11:00 mark when you set the middle diamond on gradient to 34% and change the color brightness to 88%. I am able to change the location but not the color, that is locked in Photoshop 2024.
Another great tutorial. I tried to do it in gold to fit better to the thin golden line on your template. I have problems with the color of the text down below my logo - it is too "yellow-white". As a beginner I don't realize which part I should change that the color will be darker like on the logo.
Hi, I have a question, I have been thinking this for long now but I can't do it. How do you make text above lighter colour and below darker colour so it looks cool. (e.g above light red, below dark red) and sorry for bad English
The best tutorial I've seen in my life .. What quality of explanation ... I'm new in the channel.. Congratulations for your great work !! Is it possible that you also upload a SPOT UV effect tutorial? Regards :D
My background is blue, I followed all the steps in the video but the color was not gray but rather a light blue. I don't know what I was doing wrong. The only difference is that in channels the options appear: RBG, Red, Green and Blue...
if your metallic foil is light blue, you can desaturate its color with a layer mask and pressing Ctrl + Shift + U or add a Black & White adjustment layer and clip it to the layer mask.
I can't believe how lucky I am to have found your channel. THANK YOU MARTY!!

Steps are the same.

Can we have the same result if the bacgeoue is in front not in perspective or tilt ?
Yes, the effect will work irrespective of its perspective.
Thank you
