I know these might not perform as well as your actual reviews, but I have found these immensely helpful for when I look back on my collection of incomplete Ebay buys, or unclear instructions! Thank you so much for doing these videos!
This thing was a life saver when it came to clipping in the chest section. I actually never figured out how I locked it in, i just kept trying until it went in.
He's good but he's also got some issues with pegging things in place. The trailer doesn't peg in place with the turret inside and the spoiler doesn't really peg in place at all. Any slight movements and it comes undone. It's also kind of hard to see when trying to peg the spoiler in place so over time, I'm afraid the clear plastic is going to get scuffed quite a bit. Mine's also got some paint issues in that a very small portion of the spoiler wasn't painted as well as the rest of the spoiler. The sword looks like someone played with it before the paint dried so it's got a lot of scuff like marks on it. Also, with how tight the windshield locks into place, I'm afraid of it breaking while prying it out in order to transform him back to car mode.
Mine just came. Instantly realized nite wheel flipped out as I tried to roll him. Fortunately, this is for display purposes and not playing, because the issue repeats itself after a few inches of rolling.
Me to my kid in the future: You see honey, murderers go down to the boiler room of hell, Emgo gets a free 1st class ticket to heaven for these jti videos. This is why I chuck out instructions for the past 3 years.
for the near $80 price point they could have painted the wheels. love your JTI reviews EmGo! they help me avoid instructions. your humor and quirkiness are always on point sir. amongst my favorite reviewers!
ermgo I love your transformer vids so much you've help me figure how to transform my own ones( studio series Dino Mirage and studio series helicopter drift) so I'm subbing
I felt incredibly uncomfortable with the shoulder pegs, windshield attachment to his back- and the enclosure around the wheels on his legs ... several times I was afraid to apply the force required- without damaging or breaking the connector or hinge... THANKS FOR THE VIDEO.
Extremely disapointed in the double hinge under the windscreen on my figure it is way to tight and makes transformation really difficult. QC has been very poor in the last few lines.
Did you figure out a way to get the trailer to close fully? Mine and several others have the issue where i leave a large gap running through the middle
My immediate solution is just to store the gun emplacement loose (ie not plug it into the main slot in the middle of the circle - it seems doing so pushed it up a bit)
Was asked to transform Rodimus for my nephew and am profoundly stumped still after watching this. His chest area will not move back far enough as the black plastic part doesn't fit.
Curious to know how hefty he is, and how the trailer feels compared to ER Prime's. I can't imagine them pulling off this level of engineering on a Leader, that's for sure. Or maybe they could?
I like to try and figure them out first without instructions or watching the videos. Sir if like solving a Rubik's cube. Afterwards I go back to enjoy the video and see if there's a better way to do it.
Neither the legs nor the chest feel like they wanna clip in properly. Definitely not worth the $150aus they ask for it. I think this is the figure that kills my transformers nostalgia.
Connecting the windscreen to the back when transforming back is so irritating and also putting the tab in the black section of the double hinge hand area
Same here. The chest/hood have scratches, windshield won't stay pegged in vehicle mode, the trailer can't stay closed with the turret, the trailer door won't close all the way and the calf panels never tab to stay closes. I new I should've waited but I was afraid I wouldn't find it in stores again. 🙄
@@Chazzsg Mine's the spoiler pegging into the windshield along with the trailer when the turret is in it. Mine's also got some paint issues. My door does close all the way though.

I will NOT, NO WAY NO HOW watch anybody else when it comes to transforming.....pointing out tab placements that slot of time I didn't even see. My last 2 bigger buys I watched your channel to make my decisions on rodimus prime and armada prime
This is one of the worst transformers ever. He never wanted to tab in or transform correctly. Now he never will. I broke him and put him in the trash. I'll wait until I can get the DX9 Carry. This one isn't worth replacing

I came for the same reason JTI is a great concept for direction clarification much appreciated
I still haven’t figured it out 😖
He really is the greatest WFC trilogy figure
Shame he didn’t appear in the animation
I’d argue that, as a whole, Cyclonus is probably the best all around figure to come out of the line, but Rodimus is definitely great as well
He's alright. I wish to God they didn't use that damn clear plastic though. I worry every time I transform him that it's going to Crack or break.

@@carnmarth334 Nice bias you've got there.
Absolute lifesaver! That chest section is a nightmare, not sure I could have done it without your video!
I don't know if any other reviewer has noticed that shoulder-wheel-flip-peg bit. I'm gobsmacked they thought to design that.
I am mind blown by that 🤯 such attention to detail, it’s really the small things that can really be appreciated

I knew I missed a step! Floppy chest when I finished 🤣👍👍
thanks emgo, this helped me solve an alignment problem with the slots on the wheels and tabs on the spoiler
great video, nearly had a heart attack unclipping the back

thank you very much! :)

You helped me big time with this video- thanks!
I'm still not able to get the chest piece to collapse down onto the "hip" area like Emgo is. Mine simply won't go.
Did you figure out a way to get the trailer to close fully? Mine and several others have the issue where i leave a large gap running through the middle

My trailer doesn't lock together, sad. this video really helped with the torso clip thing, had me flummoxed
I just Brought Rodiums today and struggled to transform him so thank you for this
Thanks for the video and your hard work.

Kingdom Rodimus Prime is EXCELLENT. He's Hasbro at it's best.
Curious to know how hefty he is, and how the trailer feels compared to ER Prime's.
I can't imagine them pulling off this level of engineering on a Leader, that's for sure. Or maybe they could?
there's a lot more plastic in rodimus
the best rodimus prime figure for now, and i guess if emgo would be a transformer, he would be rodimus prime.
I only can say EPIC
3:00 that window piece part is too tight for me, i left a stress mark as a result
I got an add for the one game Infinite Galaxy, and the music in it was straight up the optimus prime theme from the bay movies
this is the hardest part of hot rod.
Thanks for this! Rodimus is so fiddly I'd rather see someone do it right before I hamhands him.
I like to try and figure them out first without instructions or watching the videos. Sir if like solving a Rubik's cube. Afterwards I go back to enjoy the video and see if there's a better way to do it.
Thank you so much for this!
Would it be possible to raise the back tires in car mode so they aren't visible when connected to the trailer?
Idk
Just got him but the trailer doesn't connect completely so kinda bummed out about it.
The arms are such a pain to figure out and tab in. Other than that, it’s a good figure.
3:00 You make it look so easy 😭
Neither the legs nor the chest feel like they wanna clip in properly. Definitely not worth the $150aus they ask for it. I think this is the figure that kills my transformers nostalgia.
turn the body lock the arm pretty hard for me? i did the legs part..
Your videos really help, thanks
how did i transform him into car mode
I love the engineering
Does his lower smoke stacks that have the springs in them sit flush in vehicle mode? In some shots they look a bit flared out on the bottom.
they sit flush on my copy
Scottish accent: Your awesome, lad!
Mine has bigger panel gaps than a Tesla !
Connecting the windscreen to the back when transforming back is so irritating and also putting the tab in the black section of the double hinge hand area
BUGG BUNNY
This one gave me fits. Many pegs on my unit will not stay locked. Of course I am one of the people to get a poorly made RP. 🙄

I hope Mascot do the transformation next time
How much plástic have rodimus prime?
There’s a lot of plastic in him
Thanks 4 this
that engineering looks very third party especially the upper body
Great video
Em, I am helping you pay for this redonkulously expensive figure by watching this transform video!

Far superior to the original 86 version.
The funny thing is that as a kid, we looked at the G1 figures as if they were masterpieces lol

I need to clarify he broke during transformation. But he always gave me trouble. I'm never buying Hasbro transformers again.
Odd, Mike tabs perfectly. Yours might’ve been stored somewhere where the temperature messed up the plastic
Nice video but transformer is absolute piece of shit to transform, I broke it in frustration. That will teach me to get a commander class.
