I'm glad to see you're getting in on this set. They both definitely have the "Magic Square Legs" (unfold a million panels from the legs to make the back half of the vehicle), but I think the transformation is pretty easy once you do it a few times. And they DEFINITELY nailed that G1 cartoon look.
I didn't think you were going to do these. I got both so far and had to suffer by finding someone else to help with the transformation. I'm glad you caved. This set is going to be awesome! I love your videos, and I'm glad I can come to you for Blastoff, Vortex, and Onslaught. I'm very excited! That skit at the end was funny AF!
I LOVE the Ocular Max Version of the Combaticons, Especially Brawl. However, that Toon Look by Magic, is just Something else. Brawl and Swindle look as if they literally just walked off the Screen and onto my Table. Looking forward to Completing the set. As much as the Combined look might look perfect, I don't think it will replace my Zeta.
He looks fantastic. I know 3rd party transformers tend to be a bit involved, especially when you get into anything that's of MP scale and quality, but Swindle here looks busier than a bee cranked out on angel dust, mostly in the legs. Still, a very good figure.
Nice review. Looks like a fun transformation and some clever bits. However, this is way too plain, I’m very glad I got the MMC… but I’m also much more of a toy/IDW looks. (Without the Assultus add on kit I would’ve skipped him too.) Glad you enjoyed and do look forward to seeing the rest of the set.
I think your comment made me question my opinions on generations replacing molded detail witj paint...and also admittedly my g1 esque artstyle i use to draw my stuff
Was almost nervous about getting these because I didn’t think I would have you video’s available for transformation. Lol. Thanks for caving Emgo!! You are the transformation tutorial king!!!
I caved and got the legends scale set, and I've been impressed with them all so far. Aside from the whole "combine mode body is just a frame with onslaught shoved inside" bit which I personally don't mind, I can't wait for you to take a look at the rest of the team, if you plan to. Onslaught's transformation and Vortex's mass shifting is very fun
Man this guy looks so spectacular in both robot and vehicle mode that you could just... not even care about it as a combiner, its worthwhile on its own merits
The poses you can get on these two are insane. I had my Heavy Gunner/Brawl doing a handstand the other day. Swindle’s hands won’t let him do that, but he’s still just great for posing. Cannot wait for the full set.
So it transforms EXACTLY like the legends scale version they made, upscaled it and made it out of better materials and added new hardware ( ratchets). Interesting.
That sounds familiar... *Flashback ripple* "Part of the first wave of 2014 Prime: Beast Hunters Deluxe Class toys, Bumblebee is an enlarged knockoff copy of his Beast Hunters Cyberverse toy, though with minor detail differences to be more accurate as a Deluxe and the replacement of ball joints with more robust universal joints. As such, his parts count, complexity and articulation are all significantly lower than in previous Deluxes."
I love your videos, my guy. Been watching since early High School and I'm still watching now. You are my go to guy to see if there is a figure I want. Keep up the good work, Emgo
I love the vids man I get it that you want to save time I’m not hating or anything it’s just I prefer watching the whole transformation no matter how involved it is there is an exception alien attach macron that video would be at least three hours long of you fiddling with it man that thing looked like a nightmare keep up the great work emgo and remember you dont stop playing because you grow old you grow old because you stop playing be geek and be proud my friend
Bruticus is my fave combiner, and Swindle my fave combiner group member, and only the fact I have the MMC set already is keeping me from jumping on this...even though as I say that I'm halfway to talking myself into getting this figure just to have a standalone Swindle and leave the MMC figure in the combined mode.
That’s my same issue rn I just recently started collecting the MMC set right before I found out about the Magic Square set being released and I’m torn as to what to do
@@cptdinothunder6728 I've had them in combined mode for like 2 years now, and I really love how the MMC Bruticus looks, but this Swindle is pretty nice looking. We'll see, Bruticus is the only combiner I'd even consider going in on another expensive 3P set for...
I hope you'll check out the mecha Invasion Devastator as it seems to be the figure to usurp the jinbao Devastator. Also dream Star Toys recently released the first part of their own Devastator which actually doesn't look like a nightmare to transform starting with their scrapper
Honestly i miss old third party: extremely unique and stylized. New is cool n all but EVERYONE goes for the same thing. Great figure still. The smootheness pleases me
How tall is it in leg mode? I'm curious how it compares to Zeta. Also aesthetically how does it look next to XTB figures? Would you rather have this or Ocular Max figures next to them?

*He’s so G1 Cartoon accurate: I think he’s giving an *Uncanny Valley* effect!* 😅
The way his logo’s eyes fade into the waist headlights at 0:15 really got me
CINEMA
Maybe you'll catch it in the JTI, but there's a little flap at the neck that will fill up the little gap.

Wow
.those ratchets 😮. Very metallic.
I am so glad you’re doing this set. It’s not a review until Emgo does it
7:42 Whoa...he's actually a little smaller than I thought. Knowing that this Bruticus is gonna be much bigger than that other one!

YES! I love this set. So happy to see you reviewing these.
Delicious!!
Big combiner. Wow. Cant wait to see that!
Anyone else see the name Munitioner on a Swindle and do a doubletake thinking they were back in 2013?
Totally.. as I have that set. Beautiful set may I add.

Since I already have the MMC set and they're in combined mode I'm very tempted to get this just to have a stand-alone Swindle figure.
The poses you can get on these two are insane. I had my Heavy Gunner/Brawl doing a handstand the other day. Swindle’s hands won’t let him do that, but he’s still just great for posing. Cannot wait for the full set.

That's pretty much what Magic Square does for their Masterpiece-scale figures.
Apart from the 4 wheels on the legs it definitely hits the G1 look ... I'll be interested to see how the others turn out
I knew you would cave on this one emgo. Absolute toony gorgeousness.
I love your videos, my guy. Been watching since early High School and I'm still watching now. You are my go to guy to see if there is a figure I want. Keep up the good work, Emgo

I have the legends size ones. I like me some pocket sized combatacons
It crazy, the small ones have the same articulation and transformation. Amazing engineering

MS Swindle is good, but their Brawl is *incredible*

Hopefully they repaint this into Rollbar soon
i have brawl and i absolutely love him, im getting swindle probably by january, looking forward to seeing you complete the set!
This is truly awesome
You don't need to split the back in order to remove the big guns. I know because I've seen Optimus Legends's video on it.
If swindle gets swindled by a swindler after swindling'em who got swindled?
🤣 loved it and he is awesome
So this time its a bread. Is this going to be some kind of puzzle?
MS destroys all the competitors
not related directly to the video,
but just curious, will you ever review the MS 02 optimus v2?

Damn!
cool
I’m surprised you’re going for this set
Guy literally sold out his teammates.
I understand its trying to look cartoon accurate but the cartoon design was optimized for animation, not detail. The figure looks plain.
Keep your hand on your wallet!😁
YOOOO
I'm sorry, no matter what version of Swindle I see, I just hear Fred Willard. I like Transformers Animated, but he was obviously the stand out.
I don't like it. Large flat areas with nothing happening. it's a child's drawing. Unfinished.
Big dog, its made to look like an 80s cartoon
That's fair, I love it though. It's not for everyone
7:54 did you watch the video? lol
Cope because I think you hate the 1980s
Rage bait
