Jimny’s capabilities are well known, but it is also known for being a single driver car and first car for women (i have been part of the Jimny subreddit and other forums since past several years). I sat in it with my CMO and our shoulders were scraping against each other. For all practical purposes my Thar is way better, which i finally went for especially considering the launch price of Jimny. Have driven both, personally felt more comfortable in Thar at high speeds (highways going to be majority if driving down south) and Thar feels more premium. Jimny is easier to drive in the city but people tend to make way for you if you are driving a Thar. 😉 the only problem with Thar now is its association with Chapris, Jimny has some more respect.
Good Power to weight ratio of Jimny makes it a perfect off roader and it is good commuter as well.

own gypsy since 1993 and then later wide axcel model mg410 for 10 years. i personally test drive gymny but found it same gypsy chassis and body.if run in 4h it react same gypsy .while turning its wheel lock suddenly.rear doors are small.runs on high rpm.good for gypsy lovers as new and improve vehicle.

Maruti was always a trusted brand by the public. It's the most VFM brand. It read the Indian market well. It's only some You Tubers who desperately try to find faults with it. Moreover it's a brand trusted by Indian Army which moves in areas where these You Tubers can't dream of going !

Nice video and practical discussion. I am extremely happy with my Zeta MT. On Highway, I am getting 15.8 km/l mileage mostly within 70-80 speed limit on NH48 highway. On weekend, I fulfilled my dream of having a gypsy since my college life. On mild off-road situation, even in 2WD mode, with traction turned off, it can perform very well. On stiff climb on hills, if the roads are extremely bad , 4L works well at slow speed.
The only thing I do not like A-stop feature. By default it should be OFF.
One of the best review so far, I am a follower of both levelnext & dds.

मुझे आपका पंच लद्दाख़ वाला सीरीज मुझे बहुत अच्छा लगा था, क्योंकि लद्दाख़ जैसे रास्ते में एक 2 व्हील फ्रंट 🚘 व्हील ड्राइव कार के साथ एक सोफ्ट आफरोडिंग एक आम कार लवर को आकर्षित करता है।
मेरी पहली कार ओल्टो स्पिन 2004-05 मोडेल वाली थी जिसे बेचने के पहले यह एक लाख कि मी चल चुकु थी।
उसके बाद, सेन्ट्रो, सेलेरियो भी था, अभी स्वीफ्ट चला रहा हूँ।
अब लगभग सभी फोर और सीक्स लेन में स्पीड लिमिट लगा और कैमरा लगा हुआ है
प्रेक्टिकल ड्राइव वाले विडियो जरूर बनाये, और यूट्यूब मे प्ले लिस्ट भी बनाये। वेब सीरीज टाइप देखने वाला एक्सपीरियंस होता है।

Bhai highly underpowered lagi mujhe to. Drove 3100 kms (zanskar, spiti and leh circuit).
HIGHLY UNDERPOWERED plus NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED for people with a height of 5'10" plus.

I have recently purchased Jimny Alpha MT on 15th feb in Shimla and already a proud owner of Gypsy King.
Jimny is going to be my main car to go around be it on or off the road
This car is amazingly more quiet than others, music quality is way better and I hardly feel the need to get it upgraded in any manner or so.
I have a small patch of almost a Km long at my apple orchard in which I sometimes do need to engage 4WD in gypsy but first time when I took the Jimny it went uphill like a knife on butter, literally smooth as heck without making you feel the effort.
This car defines PRACTICALITY 👍

Someone actually explained what I wanted to say to any all the people to why I bought jimny... I bought it when it was expensive , in first month .... only reason to shift from thar petrol At to suzuki jimny At was it's suspension, peace of mind, mileage, and how beautiful it did off roaading when I took the test drive ... thanks to the company they gave me this experience... very happy with the vehicle... and want maruti to stop making jimny any more in india.... so that indians realize their mistake... maruti made it compact because indian roads on mountains and city are not wide enough... hats off to maruti ... and No disappointment for buying top model At At 17 lac.
Have driven 8k km ... 3k offroad and 5k on road....
