If Mahindra can't improve on this they are going to lose out to their competitors definitely as most of Indians always looking for value for money products.

I too had a similar experience with Mahindra, wanted to buy XUV300, W6,AMT but then situation pushed me to Urban Toyota, Premium AT which was fully loaded with features and bought the vehicle next day itself..XUV300, W6,AMT hardly had any features, yes I do agree that the engine specs of both are different, but reducing features with increasing prices doesn't make sense...as this owner repeatedly mentioned I was looking forward for a Mahindra...I think will try after a couple of years later,hope they improve..and my luck 😀.. Great review this one... I too have a similar mindset with TATAs as his friend whom he mentioned...whatever said,the body looks of TATAs specifically of Harrier and Safari are ultimate and few colors are really attractive...

I also went to buy XUV 300 w6 and it was almost final, but when I enquired about accessories (touch screen and camera), they told me u have bring accessories urself. Moreover the salesman was apathetic and I felt they didn't want to sell cars. They talked very politely but approach towards the customer wasn't very good. In the meantime Hyundai Venue was launched and I went to showroom just to see the Vehicle and I had no intention of booking. The Hyundai guy brief me about the vehicle very sensibly and they present their product very smartly, and within half an hour I booked venue and it is fine car. Still my first love is XUV 300.. Trust me guys that day was a Sunday and I had no intention of booking venue, but still I booked it. See the difference of approach towards customer...
i had very bad experience with hyundai dealerships in the past..recently cancelled the venue booking as well.. i think the attitude of hyundai dealership varies from city to city and dealer to dealer...going by ur story of good experience...good luck...

When I saw the delivery date of ScorpioN i.e. Dec. 23, I cancelled it and Purchased Tata Harrier on 5th October. Harrier is beautiful in designing. Driving feel - Amazing... Spacious, Commanding, superbly build...you feel safe in the car... Everything is perfect....
If you found that Mahindra give late delivery that's y you come to TATA so this is not done You have to Trust them then definitely you become Satisfied

Same thing happened with me... I went to Mahindra Showroom to check XUV 300. Dealership told that car is not available and test drive vehicle went for service 😑 for 10 days. Then went to Tata showroom and booked Punch Aventure AMT on the same day. But due to waiting period of 2 months I shifted to Tata Altroz XZA+ DCA petrol. Got the car in 10 days. Very happy with Tata.

It's kind of a cycle. When harrier and safari were launched, XUV 500 was outdated in comparison. Then XUV 700 is launched and tata cars are outdated. The cycle will continue.

I am a new Safari owner myself. Mine is an XZA. It’s is an excellent machine and very good performance. However, the time it was delivered to me, it was in a horrible condition - dented, scratched, a screw sticking out, door tabs broken, very, very dirty, etc. and it took me 5 months to get things right. I’m very happy with the machine but extremely shocked by the customer service provided.

Same issue with my in law. Went for XUV700 and waiting period was over 1 year. Then for early delivery you have to buy some nonsense accessories and all that black market hustle. So he just moved on to MG Hector. Also he went for Harrier but it's only available in Diesel and his preference was petrol so he finalized Hector.
if you want xuv 700 i can help you get that…..actually i booked 2 cars by mistake on the price of second day, i got mine and can give 2nd one to you at current price.

Same issue with my in law. Went for XUV700 and waiting period was over 1 year. Then for early delivery you have to buy some nonsense accessories and all that black market hustle. So he just moved on to MG Hector. Also he went for Harrier but it's only available in Diesel and his preference was petrol so he finalized Hector.
if you want xuv 700 i can help you get that…..actually i booked 2 cars by mistake on the price of second day, i got mine and can give 2nd one to you at current price.
