    How I restored my 1967 Ford F100
    My third restoration/restomod project. A 1967 Ford F100 (aka bumpside). Dakota digital gauges, under dash air conditioning unit, a full American autowire harness, Crown Vic front suspension (front clip), 95 Mark viii 4.6 dohc with 4r70w transmission (drivetrain) with Ron Francis wiring harness, four wheel disc brakes, dual exhaust, Ridler wheels 18x8" up front and 20x10" in rear, four link rear suspension with QA1 coil overs on a 8.8" Explorer rear with 3.73 limited slip.
    This was my latest project. It is the last of the three restoration project slideshow videos I put together. It took place over the better part of two years and ended in March of 2020. Figured I would do something with the ton of pictures I took, lol. Hope you enjoyed it and thanks for watching.

    Very cool. Makes me miss the '67 short bed I had and makes me want to go find another! Although I don't miss the lowered twin I-beams I had under mine.

      Thank you Don D. I know exactly what you mean. I sold my first 66 Mustang and always regretted it. That was the reason for my first restoration video. I found another one and had to restore it.

    Nice truck! I wished someone would modify the fenders on one of these in which the fenders and the side of the hood are welded together and a new body line cut on the top of the hood to separate the fender and hood similar to modern trucks.

    4 weeks for body work and engine work, 22 months for wiring and reassembly if it's anything like one of my projects.

    Amazing. Wish I knew an 1/8 about restoration that you do. I have a 78 F-100 4.9L and I was wondering if you can tell me what connectors (female) the temp sensor and oil sensor plug into that go into the firewall. Both are missing connection wires so I can’t tell. Thanks and keep posting how to videos!!

    • @midlifecustoms
      @midlifecustoms  Рік тому +1

      @Bryan McCauley thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately I do not know the connectors. Have you tried to follow the wires out starting from behind the gauge and/or google the wiring schematic for that truck? Hope that helps

    Did you weld the seams or just fill them with something

    • @midlifecustoms
      @midlifecustoms  2 роки тому

      @Jason Smith I believe you are asking about the seams on the bed. If so, after taking it down to bare metal I applied two coats of epoxy primer then seam sealer. Hope that helps.
