- My 2003 P71 Crown Vic revving the exhaust and playing around. Engine mods: Original 4.6 pi v8, Professional Products aluminum Typhoon intake manifold, Steeda 1/2" intake spacer, C&L RPM upper intake plenum, BBK 70mm throttle body, Helex Power Tower throttle body spacer[for 01-04 mustang gt] ported to remove restrictive inner swirl to match TB opening & the plenum, K&N cold air intake, Accel ignition coil packs, Summit Racing bracket racer underdrive pulleys, Superchips performance programmer 1725 w/raised & firm shift points, and 2.5" custom cat-back dual exhaust w/h-pipe into Magnflow mufflers[pretty mellow, no drone]. 3.5" JBA polished exhaust tips. Fitch Fuel catalist. Home-made PCV oil separator.

Whelp... Years later, this video sold me on some Magnaflows.
Some decent camera quality for 11 years ago. Love the sound of this car.
My dad and I were just derping around and said he'd film me farting around in the car. Was unplanned, unedited, and done hastily to not get in trouble. The car is gone now, but I still have those Magnaflows in my garage.

@@sean5comet which magnaflow mufflers are they? i have a 2009 p71 that my brother put a 4v 4.6L in, its drive by wire so we used a 2008 gt500 twin 62mm throttle body on it with an 03 marauder intake port matched to the throttle body. i have stock 4v manifolds but am wanting to remove all the 2" pipe and replace it from the manafolds back with 2.5" minimum. I love the sound of the car in the video, i want a good v8 sound with minimal or without the drone if possible.
@@JustinJacobs73 2.5" oval case mufflers, there standard stright through design that has a tube with perforated holes in it surrounded by a packed material. I eventually cut the tailpipe section and put dumps on it before the rear axle.
Do you still have the magnaflow exhaust system? I could be interested in buying some for my P71
There's something sweet about these 4.6's that makes them sound so freakin sweet. It might just be the intake manifold.
Guns Cars and Digits its the ohc.. The intake leaks unless replaced.. Plastic on aluminum.. They will rev to 7k and dohc with forged internals are crazy..
@@PureCountryof91 I hit 6.4K rpm lol in a stock p71 09’ 7k isn’t that hard lol that’s like 40-60 hp just about 300 and you’ll hit it without upgraded internals should be fine for years

I have owned a P71 for 5 years now and just bought another one. Don't let the ricers talk down about Vics. They may be the size of a small room on wheels but I have blown the doors off of many turbo charged rice rockets. They are just jealous that they have to put a bunch of extra work into their car to make it sound like it has a powerful engine.
i've been after one of these for soooooo long that i finally bought one!! 99, tinted windows, push bar, double spotlights..ooooo i love it. i might throw some magnaflows on it though. :)

My first car was a 94 vic wasnt a police interceptor but i loved it! i will get another one someday.
That car 1:43 having scooted up a notched at 2:21 reminds me of the old Marauder commercial when it parked in the garage and the other cars slowly scooted away.

I have a murdered out 2011 CPVI and I love watchin this video even though I literally have the same damn car minus all those mods, I have some flowmaster mufflers on mine. These things make the best damn sound when you're revving em up.
An I the only person who likes the looks of bigger tips and exit at the corner of the bumper on crown vics because all the videos I've seen have been straight out the back

why do people hate on crown vics? i mean you can get them for dirt cheap in great condition most police interceptors are all highway miles and what people don't understand is that they are basically an older mustang gt 4 door.

I just got a Crown Vic and i actually like it and thank god you can run the hell out of the miles with out still having problems, I want to get Some Flow masters installed ! just don't know if i should for the 97 Vic... Any Suggestions on what i should upgrade?

Definitely agree on that one, although my last P71 (Bone stock 2003 aprox. 115k miles) ran a 15.8 in the quarter. I betcha yours would do real good.

Not necessarily, you could go to the police station and they have them for sale starting at $200 but you'd have to do mods yourself.

such a shame a v8 isn't anything reasonable in the Netherlands because of high fuel prices and V8's are very high charged in road-tax beacause of C02 emisson and weight. I love that car. I own a Ford puma 1.7L. pretty fast car but not a v8 sound...

+yousef rghebi I have a 96 SS. Yea they're faster than a crown Vic (pos). All that shit he did to that ford and the thing still ain't faster than my SS. All mine has is an intake, chip, and tornado. Pushing 315-325 horse, 345ish lb ft. I've raced so many crown Vic's. It's really fun to see em think they got you but you ain't even on the floor then boom you pull right away. Always go with the chevy

@SupraTuned, you have a valid point on the whole power to weght ration especially with this particular car, this is one HUGE boat, i should now i own one, but the V8 is anything bu t dead. older designs like pushrod engines are a thing of the past, but many manucaturerers that are producing the new SOHC and DOHC are mean monsters even with small displacement. I owned a BMW 540i With only a 4.4L displacement with hemi head design DOHC V8 and this was a fucking BEAST man,
