      Thanks for the support! I really wanted to add some sound clips but I couldn’t get anything recorded that sounded as good as in person lol

    Hey man I have these same mufflers on my 08 Vic and I love them, I had my first set for 3 years before the hanger bracket rotted off and Magnaflow warrantied them and that was a year ago. Last week they did the same thing. I’ll see if I can have them warrantied again but I’m wondering if you had the same issue?

      Thanks for the support! I actually sold the car but did not have any issues prior with the mufflers. Best of luck!

    Good video, whats the Part numbers for the Magna Flow mufflers? I'm considering doing the same exhaust setup. Not a Flowmaster fan on the. Vic.

    Can we get some in car videos, some rev videos, etc? Just bought a low mileage marquis and going to switch it over to duals and considering magnaflows vs super turbos. I do not want it loud as it will be my daily.

      I actually do not own the car anymore but I can tell you that in my opinion, the magnaflows were very very minimal increase in volume.

    Does this harm the car?

    • @RatchetMotors
      @RatchetMotors  3 роки тому +1

      If installed correctly, this should not harm the car. The only really noticeable difference will be volume/sound with minimal (if any) changes in performance. The mufflers replaced are very close to the end of the exhaust so should have minimal effect on exhaust flow or sensor readings. Good Luck!

    You can hardly hear it, that's why I don't like doing these like that. You never hear a damn thing unless you remove the cats.

      I completely agree, I was honestly a little disappointed in the result based on the effort put in haha

      @@RatchetMotors I've tried a few different variations with these crown vics and the Town cars and I have to say, I think the full 3 inch straight back sounds the best. It's crazy loud but I love it. Something about the 3-inch pipe ads that bass that you're looking for but you could but a flowmaster on there and turn it down a notch I'm sure that would sound great too. Some say you lose a little bit of horsepower with the 3-in but I think by the sound quality it more than makes up for it. I mean if you're not running a race track and just using it as your daily driver not really a big deal for a few horsepower lol.

      @@JohnSmith-xx1lx Yes, John, that 3-inch-diameter pipe is gonna cost you -- NOT at the top end, where it's rarely of any benefit -- but at the low and mid-ranges, where your rig spends most of it's time.
      You say it's "crazy loud" -- but it's not.
      What it IS, is ILLEGAL loud -- therefore it's also STUPID loud -- because only stupid people intentionally make un-necessary noise.
