The "building as you go" method is 100% my MO. I am glad there are others out there that are very successful doing projects that way. Too much planning on my part can stall projects or even keep them from happening. I will admit that UA-cam has inspired me and provided many great ideas for some of my projects. For example, my 2x72 inch belt grinder build, a metal melting foundry build, and my current project, a wood fired pizza oven.
    Thanks Jimbo!

Building as you go is one of the ways that prevents me from overthinking/stalemating a project. Just start with the basic build in my head and it always turns out. Nicely done.

Same. I'm here looking around to over analyzing an anwing rebuild after a hurricane. It would have survived just fine if a large live oak branch didn't mess it up, but I still feel as though I might as well just rebuild it better than it was.

the work looks good except you never put a gutter on the end of that metal sheeting to keep the water from going in your neighbor's yard he may not appreciate that why most building codes will not let you build close to the property line.

Great Job, but two things to consider: 1. trusses are too much, you could have put only one in every 8 feet and fill the rest with wood. This would have made your job much cheaper and much easier. (Not as good looking as this though) 2. Are all the rain going to neighbor's property? What do they say about it?

Did you seal the overlaps? I've worked of a few corrugated projects and if you don't seal the overlap moss get's under it and is a pain in arse to get out.

They weigh Less than the metal roofing. I'm spanning 14ft. With the price of steel skyrocketing, I need the most efficient size "rafter"...do ya think 2" x 2" x 16 Gauge (Grade A500) will do the trick? Thanks! (great looking shop!!)
