It's a t10-ddm just a different name they are all the exactly the same scooter ...some companies just change the color or the accessories ..what you are really buying from the different vendors are the warranties and customisations to the controller and motor
"Customization to the controller and motor" does not mean "exactly the same". These are actually large differences. Battery brand used is also a big one. (Yet I went cheap and bought the D6+ with off-brand 18650 batteries)
If you would like better acceleration. Go into the p settings by pressing the power and the mode buttons at the same time. Then short press the power button until you get to “p12” then press the mode button to change the value. Should be a value of 1 through 5. When I switched my turbowheel lighting to a value of 5 it’s acceleration was impressive and almost to much to handle at first. Wants to rip out of your hands if not carful and now practically does standing burnouts. Also if yours is the same as mine it should have the ability to activate cruise control if you go to “p17” and switch the value from 0 to 1 which should turn it on. At least that’s how mine works. I enjoy your videos! Congrats on the scooter! 🛴
I just got a scooter and didn't know what the p was. So thanks for explaining it. The only scooter I ever rode was a razor scooter 20 years ago. They took alot of exercise to go far. Now the scooter takes little to no effort to go miles.
My 10x had the 'notchy' steering you describe. The steering head has been overtightened. Loosen the large notched nut on the top of the steering head. That will eliminate the lumpy steering.
I've got about 800 miles on my Zero 10x, just north of you in SLC. Noticed a little wobble at high speeds with factory provided handlebars. After switching to a wider handlebar with less rise I haven't noticed any wobbles. Just upgraded my brakes to hydraulic. Check FalconPEV. Around $125 and not very hard to install. Also going to install thumb throttle, wide road tires and rear air suspension to get ready for next season.
i think the apollo pro is still the better deal, they did a flash sale recently i almost bought 1 but im still hoping for black friday. price dropped down to 1699 with no usa tax(187$) + 100$ in accesories and upgrade. it has 22ah and LG batteries with 2year warranty. just my opinion. i was hoping your next scooter was the apollo pro cause you beat the heck out of your scooters so we can have a good review, but i guess this is close enough.
Received an Eagle One yesterday. The right brake doesn’t work out of the box. It has no pressure at all so I’m assuming the hydraulic brake needs to be bled or have mineral oil added. I let Varla know about the issue, sent video. They acknowledged the issue and did NOTHING to try and make it right. Said, “thanks for your understanding” which I guess is a nice way of saying piss off. People need to know their support is terrible and I would assume the warranty is worthless and they have similar tactic for any problems you may have. Keep in mind this is brand new out of the box and reported to them the morning after the scooter arrived.
It's still t10dual so it's same as zero 10x. Also if you also have nutt hydraulic brakes then you have 100% the same thing what I have. I really advise you to get rugged clamp it makes the steering part much better

That's really cool they give you pads. Get us a 500 mile review if you decide to keep it which sounds like you're going to. Great review and you are really clear and thorough
I've got the Apollo Pro and I don't have any issues with turning needing extra umph turning off of center. You mentioned the acceleration not being very fast (And maybe it's just me) but you can modify the acceleration to be faster/slower in the throttle menus if you hadn't done so already
Thanks for the review. I ordered mine last week and it arrives today. Cannot wait to unbox and go for a ride. Bringing the electric scooter fanbase to the South East. Miami 305.
Get rugged clamp asap. They could be as hard to find as tubes for mantis. I did 100miles in zero 10x (60v) and clamp #1 cracked, clamp #2 creaks and bolts are bent already
The steering issue you're describing sounds like a defect. Possibly the head bearings are over-tight. The feeling you described should be considered a safety hazard, not a feature. If you can feel it while riding and it's hindering you from initiating a turn, I'd call it serious and the manufacturer should remedy the matter urgently. I know this video was posted a while ago but I'd love to hear about how that head bearing issue turned out.
I love the eagle one. When I made all the upgrades that ginger on wheels did. It’s become a way better scooter. It took me a little to get used to far as stock handling. I kinda hated it at first. But the upgrades just made it an all around better experience.
the steering resistance is bugging the hell out of me since the first day i got it, so the next day, i have readjusted it to loose up the steering and added Steering Damper kit on it, make it feel more comfortable. oh, also, I just upgraded both to Hydraulic Brakes, with 140MM original Disc is good enough power to stop, 160 feels like way too much, so after all test and swaping parts out, I will recommend Hydraulic brakes with 140MM disc is good for zero 10X, since zero 10X only have about 70 LBS.

The Varla Eagle One, Grace SpeedDual and the Zero 10X are identical scooters from the same factory. Cheaper is great along with the free stuff but what can outweigh this is service, parts and warranty which are likely to be costly over the long term if you pick the wrong one.
Wobbles are usually caused by "harmonics" in thenchassis/suspension. If the wobble shows up around a certain speed and fades or disappears again at speeds a little higher, it's definitely something in suspension. I don't recall all the details. Sport bike mechanics will know details.

So I'm looking into scooters for a commuter in the small town I live in for a new job coming up. I don't own one, but have been on motorcycles for years and ride motocross. What you're referencing when the wheel feels "locked" over a certain speed is nothing to do with design. I'm assuming most scooter riders are probably coming off of bicycles and have little experience with two wheels at high speeds. Gyroscopic stability increases with speed and each wheel is it's own gyroscope. At speeds just under 30mph you cant turn the wheel in the direction you want to turn, you actually have to turn the opposite direction of the turn by pushing the handlebar. It's called counter-steering. Basically, from what it looks like, a lot of these super high-speed scooters are going to have more "motorcycle" like dynamics rather than "scooter" or "bicycle" dynamics. I'd encourage anyone looking at one of these to research counter-steering and high speed motorcycle control before purchasing one. Wear gear and stay safe!

Quick question, when you do a range test can you how far it can go on eco/dual motor and Turbo/dual motor ... I am very interested in buying this scooter, but will still hold out until your review comes out.
Its likely the suspension geometry. When the suspension compresses the axle moves forward and you get a "trolley wheel" effect. Can lessen or remove the effect by lowering and flattening the swingarm angle

Quick question, when you do a range test can you how far it can go on eco/dual motor and Turbo/dual motor ... I am very interested in buying this scooter, but will still hold out until your review comes out.
17- 20 miles with both motors on and set to max speed/acceleration
40 miles at 15mph in eco mode
The shimmy at speed may be from the shocks?
Its likely the suspension geometry. When the suspension compresses the axle moves forward and you get a "trolley wheel" effect. Can lessen or remove the effect by lowering and flattening the swingarm angle
What's the tire width? 10 x 2.5 or 10 x 3.0 ????
since it appears to be a 10x or apollo pro variant they are 10 x 2.6, some of those say its a 10 x 3 but they aren't.
So the ones for $700 are junk?
Just because you are on a scooter, does that mean speed limits don't apply to you? 40 mph in a 25 mph zone?
Stfu bootlicker
lol fuck no the cops gonna whoop your ass if he catches you... its common sense to ride 25 mph if the speed limit 25 dont be that guy

Do you need license plates for these scooters that go over 20 mph?
