Did you order this from varla's website? Did they have a good shipping and customer service? Or should I look to buy it from a third party?
I've put about 150mi on mine and its a blast! Your videos are one of the reasons I picked the Varla.
When my friend got his Varla Eagle One, he rides it every day. The acceleration is more fun and to have the ability to pull away from cars puts a smile on my face.
I got my Eagle one about a month ago and I'm overall super happy with it. Your review really helped me out.
All I can say is that this thing is BIG, but also very fast and fun. I use mine to commute to university and I love it. The large size means that storing it in a classroom is a bit tricky, and I don't know what I'll do when I have to go to a small 30-student classroom. The 80lbs weight is also inconvenient and it means that I always have to rely on elevators to go upstairs. Also I hate the stem clamp, it always loosens up despite me constantly adjusting the clamp itself and the stem adjustment screws, and it doesn't lock the stem firmly. Also it's quite hard to fold the stem.
Other than that I absolutely love it. I can really appreciate how capable it is compared to a smaller commuter scooter with like a 300w motor. With a small scooter, I'm limited to sidewalks, but with the Varla I can go on roads and on rough terrain with ease, as well as jump off curbs with ease and confidence. so ON the road, it is far more practical than a commuter scooter.

Very informative and honest assessment!
Distance and battery life are imperative to me. I would love to have a scooter that has an inner changeable battery so that way I can carry a fully charged battery in a backpack and when the first battery gets low or runs out I can just easily switch. Also, charge time is important which is one big reason for wanting a spare battery
Nice review, I also get the same range when riding eventho there are many hills in my area and I'm a heavy rider, besides that it is an awesome scooter and fun to ride.
Thinking of upgrading to this Varla Eagle one (AKA Apollo Pro or Zero10X) or a Apollo ghost, so I appreciate the review. Currently have a Skywalker 8S, while it is fun the ride is harsh and an ankle smasher. The suspension can't mitigate the concrete solid tyres, and I wish Kaabo made some foam core tyres for it.
NOICE!!!! If I didn't pre-order another scooter in a similar price range, this would be my other choice.

Did you ever get your scooters? There's been a lot of comments lately that Varla has been terrible about meeting shipping deadlines and has shady customer service.

At 40 mph and 14 miles range is pretty good to me I think this is a good buy if you like speed and performance
You won't get 14 miles at 40mph. It doesn't claim "14 miles of range at 40mph" it says that it can go up to 14miles and up to 40mph. Those two things will never happen together.
@@brandonhebert5485 This is what happens when you don't own what you comment about. You DO get 14miles at 40mph. 40miles of RANGE is in single motor mode which does not go 40mph.
So you see, you are completely wrong: you will ABSOLUTELY get 14miles of range at 40mph.

Got a question bro. Ive seen numerous Vala scooter vids. Yours is one of the most effectively informative. My question is it seems that people who did not get the eagle one through promotion purposes(for frer) when they actually purchase through the website the scooters rotors are bent and a few other things. So do you have onfo on legot websites that sells them but has hood customer service?

Bro, I got it today. Adjusted clamps and screws. However, the main rod with handles is still wobbly, is that normal? Not the handles bar, I’m talking about main shaft that goes to the front wheel.
This scooter, is a rebrand from the brand zondoo, this model name is ZO05. This model is SO overprice for what it is !

Varla makes a seat especially for the Eagle One scooter. I purchased one but hopefully you could find one that will fit the Floorboard! Just make sure it will fit the Eagle one! 👍🌟

You should do a comparison video of this n the nanrobot d6+ I have the d6+ and my friend has the varla eagle. He says the d6+ is better and they are spec the same.
Yo you read my mind. It IS addicting i am always wanting to ride mine all the time. 1 hour isnt enough lol. Battery life yes dips so fast vs eco mode a total difference. My main issue right now are the squeakes of the brakes, the small wheels & it not reaching 40mph but then again here in NYC how would you get to 40 with all these short streets and lights.
i am getting about 30 miles in dual mode on my zero10x varla should be similar and i am 110 kilos good scooters for heavy hamsters😎😎😎and on spiked wheeles its great in icy condition and snow i even took it for a ride on vatnajokull glazier here in iceland and damn that was fun my son has zero11x and that is an absolout beast leaves the 10x in the dust or snow these scooters are awesome 10x 11x appollo and varla counterparts all of them are worth every penny

Your most likely on KPH gotta go to the P-settings and change it it MPH. 59kph is 36mph

Varla still hasn’t shipped my “free” gifts and it’s been over 4 weeks.
I just emailed them since the same thing happened to me and then they sent it out.
You should have told what the amp of the controllers are. 2x1000w motors doesn't tell how powerful the scooter is, the controllers do.

I've had my Eagle one for a year and a 1/2. And they can't provide me a new battery. I've been waiting for almost 2 months $450 spent They don't know when. they're going to get it to me. And Im mad now that I don't know. I bought my daughter a pegasas. And realize that they don't even have an option for battery to buy from them For that 1 when that 1 goes bad. So now I want my money back so I can buy a scooter from the legitimate company. The takes care of their customers.
If there are any issues is it easy to fix?
no major issues yet! I always try to post updates on the channel if one of my scooters has an issue that I fix

Built your channel and grow it, eventually companies will notice you and send you products to review, I got one too and it's pretty awesome.
Find a reason for the company to send you one, which benefits them. In this case, RK9 already has a lot of subscribers. Sending him a review item will increase awareness to a lot of people who watch his videos.

My sister has one of those big scooters at top speed of 17 mph. My 7 year old got a taste of it and now wants one. I see this scooter. But I dont think it's good for kids. Hehehe. 40? The 17 was already scary, much more to a kid.
In my opinion, 20+ mph is scary for anyone especially in the city. Small potholes poses a huge risk for imbalance and an easy inconvenience could send you smiling

No vlogger is mentioning whether this scooter is PORTABLE: can it be FOLDED DOWN, and stuffed in the back seat of a car or suv?? Carried short distances??

It's a pretty bulky scooter and quite awkward to get in a car but definitely doable. It is awkward to carry any distance longer than from the car to the garage

I rather go with a tubeless scooter and pay a bit more. Tubes make me vomit. Especially scooter sized ones. $40 for 2 innertubes is nuts. Less reliance on the manufacturer or distributor is better especially considering they all suck to deal with.
So this thing has some sketchy reviews on google how many people that own these have had issues with them I will be pretty pissed if I spend 1600 bucks and it breaks within a month
If you are considering trying to purchase a Varla Eagle One, please be aware that the company appears to be the exact same as Himiway electric bicycles. They share the same warehouse address, many similar pages on their websites like shipping and returns, they share the same undisclosed foreign transaction fees, and now they are starting to share complaints about shipping times and customer service. When I was convinced to buy through channels like this, it was difficult to find customer feedback, however Himiway already has a lot, and none of it is good. Do yourself a favor and don't be enticed by videos like this or the specs and price tag, and just purchase a different scooter from a different company.

@@ENIGMVTIK I did eventually get everything I ordered. The scooter itself took 6 weeks to ship, as opposed to the 4 weeks suggested at order, and then another 5 days for FedEx to deliver. It did not come with free gifts at that time. I had to wait another 2 weeks to receive an extra charger, one of two free gifts when I ordered, which came with a separate order I made for the deck clip. I waited another 2 weeks after that to receive the handlebar bag that was my second free gift, and was sent through a USPS affiliate that did not have tracking and did not seem to care about damaging packages. The low price compared to the specs enticed me with the massive marketing Varla does, but now that I bought one for myself, I've learned that any review that starts off with something along the lines of "Thanks to Varla for sending me this scooter" has already skipped the most frustrating part of the experience. In the end, I may have gotten a monetary deal, but I paid more in time and patience than I expected, and I just hope people who truly wish to purchase with them know what they are getting into.
It is so hard to trust these reviews when they get the scooter for free .. the varla Pegasus is average at best but the customer service of Varla is the absolute worse I've seen ever.
the only reason he talks so much about Varla is because they sent him a free scooter...
that's a Zero 10x branded with another name... no news about this scooter. chinese companies do this all the time to fool people and sell more. this scooter it's been around for more than a year now. the company behind the Zero brand is now branding as Vsett. the Zero brand is over. don't you know that? we all know that.
Lol what is your point? Everybody knows that the platform is unicool t10ddm which is rebranded to apollo pro, zero 10x, turbowheel lighting, speedual 10, etc. Its still a great scooter even though they have the new version vsett 10, which is slightly improved.
Thats why i bought the apollo phantom. Not a clone, but actually an original
@@maxl7827 exactly. We all knew this already. We are the END customer. People who want to sell scooters BUY base scooter models and ADD different specs and/or features to rebrand and market to sell at different price points! But I guess he’s thinks no one else understands this.
