It takes time and effort to write up pattern instructions. If you like it, and want it, pay for it. If you truly can't afford it, make notes as you watch, and do your own maths, and then you'll have a free quilt pattern.

You should be a little more appreciative that she put this free tutorial out for us. There really isn’t any need for a written pattern for this. You just use 10” squares to do the magic 8 hst method. Pick two different prints you want to go together in your block and then lay everything out. So it’s just making hst blocks and laying them out a certain way. You don’t even have to use 10” squares, you could even use 7” or 8” pieces. I hope this helps.
