@@linkybird98 yes the 80’s where boxed especially the late 80’s TC I had a 87 had it almost 20yrs and could never get the right feel in that’s TC I would stick with 80 thru 84 not boxed at all
Had to be a Cartier. That was the top trim. I owned an 89 Cartier & currently have a mint 87 Stars/Stripes. Not a daily though. It's a garage queen. To rare
Me too! I’ve always thought the digital dash and what it has to offer is more appealing and special than the analog setup. I do find the analog setup attractive. I just love the town cars!
Always found it strange that 80’s Town Cars still had a mechanical odometer on the digital dash BUT YET the Continental had a digital odometer on it’s digital dash.
Haha they waited until the 1990 Town Car debut to incorporate that change. Ford knew that it’s customers weren’t that inclined to dramatic changes. Also the 80-89 town car was such a success it was cost effective to leave it the way it was until the design didn’t make sense with the times.
It’s not terrible to replace what doesn’t work. Luckily it’s all separate pieces so it’s not that bad to do. I’ve replaced the gas gauge and the message center before.
I had a 1989 in platinum I believe. Beautiful car. I love that body style of Lincoln.
The 80s box cars are wonderful vehicles!! I loved the 86 and 87 I owned. The styling is eye catching!!
I owned a 89 signature series just like this one.. white with the blue dash and carpeting. My first car.

My favorite dashboard design ever.
I really enjoy this style of dashboard too! The digital dash is a nice touch!
Dont worry, engine and trans are now rebuilt, about to go back in this week, then it will be buttoned up and back on the road
What year TC do you have?

I like the modern cluster in the classic 1980’s Town Car.

This have a cd player?
It didn’t come with one from the factory. I wish it did have. The JBL radio has a great sound output!
Did you ever try and park your Lincoln in between to cars and then backing it out with out your front end hitting the car next to you?
Thats never happened to me before. Thankfully!
I like it
Thanks kuzzzz!!
Dirty car?? Nothing to clean up
Lol I did keep her clean!
I hate the electronic dash it is so fucking expensive if it goes out.
