Love the big real wheel drive Fords, I had a 1989 triple Burgundy Grand Marquis. First new car I had. Drove it from Buckingham Pa to Somerville NJ everyday, it was like sitting in my Livingroom.
Gorgeous car Bill these back memories. In the 80s these TC s kicked Cadillacs rear esp the FWD downsized models. These were excellent riding and very dependable vehicles.
Beautiful car. I remember sitting in a Stars and Stripes one when new at a dealer. Good to see the JBL stereo...if you deal in more of these era Town Cars, lookout for ones with the very rare factory CD player, which began in 1987 (with the JBL stereo introduction in these cars). It was the first car to have a CD player from the factory. It sat below the dash in an enclosure, not unlike the separate 8 track players some cars had years before. Also, lookout for cars with the very cool automatic dimming rearview mirror, which Lincoln began offering in their cars in 1983, with the variable distance control and the mechanical style automatic movement of the mirror physically. Our 1988 Mark VII LSC had it... The engine is not the 225hp high output 5.0...it's the regular 150hp one, although if the car has dual exhaust, it should be 165hp.
These ride much better than the rwd Cadillacs. Not even close.
You are correct!
Beautiful Town Car!
Thanks!
I actually own a Sales Brochure and framed magazine ad with this exact car in them. Really neat
NICE!!!

Wow, thanks for that information! This is the first actual Stars and Stripes I have ever seen!
What a beautiful Lincoln, that interior is so plush. Too bad the steering wheel looks so cheap and plasticky 😮
You know I always thought they could have stepped up their game on the wheel. Thanks!
NOW LIVE ON BAT!!! bringatrailer.com/listing/1987-lincoln-town-car-11/
The motor is a 302 not a 305. The 305 is a GM motor.
I certainly know a Ford is a 302, did I misspeak and say 305?? Did you like anything else about the video?
