I see from your reporting that Twilight Blue metallic was offered in the Special Edition Lincoln. My 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis LS 50th Anniversary Edition is also in that Twilight Blue metallic color with full carriage blue roof. The outstanding feature of this Mercury is the gold anodized exterior trim as well as the trunk mounted luggage rack, also in gold anodized. The contrast between the gold and dark blue is stunning as well as the white pinstriping on the sides as well as the hood. Also the chrome rocker panels and stainless steel vent shades add to the dressed up style of the car. It only had 67,000.0 miles when purchased in January of 2022 and now has 79,000.0 miles. It also sports Mercury mud guards and aluminum turbine wheels. Thanks for the video Tony.
I have never seen those long coach lamps before, they are beautiful! I understand about the radio, I'd have to put in a stock one also! You can probably use the floor mats from the wrecked Lincoln plus some other things. We're gonna have a good time working on this one! Thanks for your videos Tony!
It’s amazing after 35 years That car still works as good as it did when it was new, it will do everything that you want, and it has something that a lot of new cars do not have, but this car has always had it, and always will, and that is CLASS, just because somebody has a lot of money, or a vehicle cost a lot of money, does not always mean it has class/good taste, this vehicle does, and come to think of it, so does Tony
Have you ever owned a continental mark six, with the circle window my father had a 1981 Brown and champagne it's two tone and he also had a 1984 blue signature town car with the valore interior he would only buy signature series, with the digital dash, I just want to say I love the channel. It just brings back so many memories. I've owned four lincolns myself. If it wasn't for my dad, I never would have fallen in love with these cars. They are the definition of a luxury and comfort. Nothing rides like these cars. I found out about you, from the youtube channel, rare classic cars. Thank you very much for what you do.I'm a 1981 baby you bring back a lot of memories to my childhood. I spent a lot of time in lincolns because my mom and dad. They both had an affinity for Lincoln. The last Lincoln they had was a 2004 Lincoln town car silver with a silver top ultimate Before they stop driving, they're still with me. My mom and dad, but they don't drive Anymore So thank you for this awesome content. I'm in the process right now, of getting myself a lincoln, as a daily driver And my dream is to get a 80s.Lincoln, as my forever car, town car, continental, mark six . Doesn't matter, but I want it from the eighties, anyway my immediate? family From 1984, til 2015 my family owned nothing but lincolns. But the first one was a very beautiful blue lincoln town car, digital dash, blue interior. The car seemed to just float. Anyway, thank you. Can't wait to the next episode. Sorry about the long message. I got into it because this is just such a happy time. I don't remember any of those cars ever really breaking down except the 88 , 89 continentals, we used to own the v6 models. Those had head gasket issues issues. But yeah, you take care town car is king
I have never owned a Mark VI myself. Those cars were somewhat problematic as well. I prefer the 86-89, but really 89 is my favorite. It sounds like your family taught you well. Thank you for the kind words, and thank you so much for watching and commenting. Much appreciated.
Hi Tony - enjoyed the show and tell. You've made a fine purchase for your needs and we'll enjoy seeing the dyi videos you make. 👍🏼 I agree with you - stuck on badges give me the ick. "Don't do it dog." 😂
My 88 tc has those exact same tips I had to get a dual exhaust on the car I had it done many years ago but anways congrats on finding a beautiful daily driver
@tonyscarcare5657 if it comes on, and the height sensor doesn't see a change after a certain time, then it shuts off to save the compressor. Sounds to me, you have a big leak, but I could be wrong.
Yep. I will do the math to see what it would have stickerd for. I have enough window stickers, including one with the base price of the Special Edition, to get it accurate.
I have an idea those are electroluminescent coach lamps. EL plastic strips can be bought online, they are a little short lived. LED wouldn't give an even lighting, usually. Suddenly, it's 1960! :)
OMG, watching this Makes me miss my 89 TC bad😢. This car is very nice and it wouldn't take much to get this into near showroom condition. I wish I could detail it for you.
Excellent Video Mr. Tony and what a nice car just as it stands. Seems like it drives really nice and the engine/undercarriage looks very clean. It is amazing to us how much you know about these cars and how to fix all these items. Your skills are amazing and we will patiently await the next video. Please have a great week. Roseann & Dan
Thank you once again, D & R! The car definitely needs a LOT of little things, but hopefully, people will watch the repair videos if I ever get time to do them.
Really nice car, Tony! It's not a piece of crap. It's a sharp looking car. There is no need to make excuses to anyone about the odd blemish, and so what if it needs some repairs. It's obviously in good hands with you and your expertise. Like you said, you got this car to drive and enjoy without undue worry. I'd be nervous as hell driving your other Lincoln.😧 Im looking forward to all the videos of the repairs/upgrades on this car. 🙂🇨🇦
@tonyscarcare5657 Absolutely. It would drive me batty not having things work properly. Also, for me, what I can't stand is squeaks or rattles in a vehicle. I have a 2013 Ford Edge with about 90,500 km and not nary a squeak or rattle. Im the original owner, bought it while it was in transit from Ford to the dealership. They built vehicles better back then than the junk today. I driver trained in a 1977 Chrysler New Yorker, and my parents also had a 1981 Town Car. It was a butter cream exterior(darker than the Adobe) and chocolate brown interior. I remember the carpet being so thick it was like shag carpet. Lol.
Even with all the minor flaws this Town Car has it’s still absolutely gorgeous. I think a big luxury car looks so classy in white and that blue roof and interior really sets it off. I’m with you on anything stuck onto my cars. The dealer I always use puts a stick on nameplate on the back of all their cars. I always ask them to have it removed. I don’t mind advertising their dealership with a license plate frame but no stickers on the paint for me.
@@tonyscarcare5657 It indeed does. You are the same way I am about my Oldsmobiles. You want to get things right. You have spares like I do and you want everything functioning and nice. I see nothing wrong with that as I understand. The little things make for great video. It will be interesting to see what is changed with time.
I love how this one has the full vinyl roof, same goes for the LTD Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis, that half vinyl roof was okayish, but I always preferred a hardtop or that super luxurious looking full vinyl roof!!
The electroluminescent coach lamps were from ASC… no bulbs, no LEDs… They’re 120-volt… with an inline inverter which drops the power back down to 12V. The inverter is an inter-connecting harness which utilizes the existing wiring which operate the coach lamps on normal models, so equipped. They originated on the - 1982-84 Olds Ninety Eight Regency Brougham sedan - 1985 Olds Delta 88 Royale Brougham LS sedan - 1984-86 LTD Crown Victoria (Brougham Roof Option only, on 4-dr models) - 1987-90 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Brougham LS 4-dr sedan - 1983-93 RWD Chrysler New Yorker/ New Yorker Fifth Avenues used the same lamp assemblies, just different trim bezels. They’re almost impossible to find today… and if you find them, people ask a king’s ransome.
I knew that ASC made them along with the top. Of course, they're not mentioned in any of the Ford dealer shop manuals. It seems to me that anything they were putting on the GM and Chrysler vehicles of the time was crap so I'm not surprised they are problematic. They should have definitely stayed with Ford lighting.
@@tonyscarcare5657 the illuminated entry lock cylinders were a dropping-voltage LED design. The electroluminescent lamps were beautiful. I put them on two of my Town Cars with the Carriage Roof option, back in the 90’s.. they definitely gave the car’s appearance a real presence at night… and looked swanky seeing them through the outside rearview mirrors.. I’ve put 1 on my 91 Colony Park LS… still looking for the passenger’s side… I’ll find one eventually.. I think it’ll make the wagon look swanky at night.. 😎
I would have bought the car. There was an unfortunately weathered red white 89 near me for sale recently they had just neglected it it had to have sat outside for years untouched. I never thought that red and white was a particular edition, because the Town Car competing with the Brougham… and red Cadillacs with white tops are common place. So this video is, without fail, another educational video! I’m slightly surprised these cars didn’t have full gold ornamentation. Maybe that was 90 up.
@@tonyscarcare5657 that gold is hit and miss anyway, I’ve noticed some cars it oxidizes bad. My mentor was a boomer car guy - true blue professional a perfectionist. He had a friend who in the “gold emblem” era, had a method of flashing common Mylar for dealerships. He had a two tone teal with black midsection early 90s Sierra it had full gold emblems. Guy could do aftermarket Cadillac gaudy to no end. Apparently he spent a lot of time at Walter Reeks Buicks Olds and Searway FLM. Guy could “gold” plate anything. Made a fortune doing it.
I have to say, I wouldn't buy one with the gold. I always felt that Ford did it just fine the way it was. I remember people going around to dealers and doing that. Thank God it was a short-lived fad.
Probably only one black signature series, special edition, the reason you have not seen it, it’s being stored in the vault at Fort Knox? you would think they would’ve produced a few more black signature series special edition. I guess black cars are more common today, back then it was probably mostly funeral homes that ordered black cars?
I have a black one spotted, Dave. You should buy it if we can get them down on the price. It needs too much for what they're asking for it. No moonroof!
TYVM for replying to my comment on the part 1 video. I apologize because I've been confusing your channel with Tony's Fords & Mustangs channel. Been subbed to both channels for quite awhile & of course both channels are excellent.
Beautiful car i love it. I've always loved the body style they are so classy. I'm not to crazy about the jelly bean style town cars. I miss my town car i would love to own another one again. They just speak elegance and class
Thanks, buddy! I'm with you. I really don't care to own any town car after 89. I do know the 4.6 is a great engine, and the cars were extremely high mileage vehicles, but they just don't have the looks. I would consider a 95-97 in the right trim, color, and options. I would not consider a 90-94 or 98-02! 03-11 weren't bad.
My memories of working on those when they were new (warranty stuff at dealership) were these things: #1 Oil leak due to rear of intake manifold gasket leaking fooling the naive to think it was a rear main seal. They were cork originally and loved to get sucked in by the PCV system. #2 AOD direct clutch burnout... Why? Don't know but maybe because we're in a snow belt. #3 Occasional 8.8 rear axle howling. Nonetheless a lot of those were sold. They're valuable now but at the time I could not believe how much they dropped in value after initial sale. Give it 2 years back in '89('91) and they were selling for 1/2 of the MSRP. Cool memories though. Hence me watching this with a passion. Thanks.
We've never had any of those issues. Maybe they were all fixed under recall. I did loan one of mine to a friend once, and it came back with now overdrive. That's the only issue out of many. My parents' 85 had 348k on it when they sold it. You can buy 10 year old Navigators now for a fraction of the new price.
@@tonyscarcare5657 The only recalls I remember on those were the fuel line clips ...87SXX where XX means I don't remember what the number was. TBH, the internet is a terrible resource for history. It was a big deal then but not now. Fuel line retention clips...applied to nearly every Ford FI system. You see the tethered clips around the circle-spring connectors on your engine's fuel lines?...they were a recall part addition...not OEM. Silly crap like that gets lost in the muck. I don't remember any other recalls for those Town cars. It paid 0.6Hr to do, I think. Sorry to babble on. Stopping.
Southern vehicles generally never have any rust. They don't use calcium chloride on the roads despite some years have more freezing rain and snow than the Northeast! I definitely wouldn't call this junk, just a well used, well maintained vehicle. A shame about the interior, as leather needs lots of moisture to keep it from cracking. It needs to be fed! A nice project car to repair, to bring it back to being original. Old car brochures online does not have the Special Edition cars brochure, so I couldn't find any information on this particular model. It also doesn't list dual exhaust as a stand alone option either; I'm under the impression that it was only available in the towing package, so I'm probably mistaken. Best of luck with this vehicle!
Those were the standard wheel on Signature Series and Cartier. The wire spokes like on this car are definitely my favorite. I even have New Old Stock ones.
Tony unlike you I bought my 97 town car signature series with only 51,000 miles on it and according to the Carfax, that’s the original mileage. I pointed out all the things wrong with it but it’s a honest car. It’s rust free. It’s so clean underneath. It looks like a two year old car. The only rust is on the driveshaft and you can brush that off, but they’re small things because the car was painted and not painted right things were taped off properly or taken off like they should’ve been that’s driving me crazy But the leather seats are in good shape. AC works good automatic patrol works good. I don’t have a power antenna, the power trunk release power truck pull down works. The one thing I gotta work on now is the horn it did not work and I had airbag light on so by a clock spring I put a clock spring and nothing changed. The horn relay was bad so when I put a new relay in the horn blows won’t stop blowing so there’s a short somewhere, but anyhow I’ll work on that with a good time. Your town car looks beautiful. I’m glad you found a good one.
25:02 those pipes hanging down like that bother me. The car MUST BE as built from the factory, but I understand this is going to be a "driver car" not a future museum car, so I guess it doesn't matter, but if I got behind this car, I'd assume it had fallen into "bad hands" and not an "OEM" purist car any longer. Great update.
The original exhaust on these cars did drop down below to bumper. That's why they don't bother me at all. The new exhaust on my other car doesn't stick down far enough. I worry about it burning the chrome off the bumper.
To be fair, this Town Car has 140K miles on it. I think it looks pretty darn good for the mileage. Was especially impressed with how nice it looked underneath! As always, the devil is in the details! Where did those goofy stick on plaques come from? I guess I would have assumed they came with the car. The exhaust tips look just fine, I would have guessed they were stock as well. Sure want to watch you repair that sun roof and wadded up paper inside, will you have to pull down the headliner? You will attend to the details one at a time, and love doing it. This car will be a great daily driver for sure. It would seem like the wrecked Town Car will have many of the parts needed for this car, give the seats a good leather treatment and they will be fine. I have often wondered about those "Marti reports", I hear them mentioned all the time. Where does "Marti" get all this information from? To be fair, the report said your car was "equipped with the following...", it didn't say whether they were "options" or standard equipment for the trim level.
Marti is licensed by Ford Motor Company and has all of their production files. The headliner does not have to come down to repair the moonroof. It is all serviced from the top. Thank you very much for watching and commenting. Much appreciated.
Did 89's have a CB hand radio option? I ask as I saw on the power antenna it looks to have that black bulbous piece of plastic on the metal mast. I was under the impression for cars of the 80's that had the CB option, the antenna had that cylindrical black piece for the CB to pick up their specific frequencies.
Tony, how R your going to fix the front seat. It’s all cracked look’s worn. Makes the interior look 👀 nasty & not appealing for such a nice ride. Lol 😂 other than the front seat I love ❤️ your new ride! 😊
Hi Tony, i would love to see you working with this Town car till it is mint again, so this is going to bee a lot of work for you but i like to se the videos.👍👍
I am anxious to see the video on fixing the silver panel on the rear of the car. The black is pealing really bad on my 89 towncar and I am at a loss as to what to fix it.
Tony, do you (or can you make) have a video on troubleshooting the illuminated keyhole? My passenger side works but the driver does not. Thank you in advance.
I do plan to add illuminated entry to my Country Squire if I ever get to it. I hate to tell you, but it's probably burned out and would require a new lock set. There is no bulb to be charged. I do hope to be talking about it, so stay tuned and thank you for watching!
These videos are drawing too much attention to the 80-89 body driving up interest and the prices. I have been trying to buy one of these for a few years. I am wanting an 1989 bx I like the front "one year only" orange lights. I want a triple burgundy car, digital dash, crushed velour interior, alloy wheels, so no wire wheels for me. It must have the under seat lights. Great videos, but too much attention being drawn to this body style and running the prices up.
I know, but as you see, we have bought three in just over a month for very reasonable prices. They are all over Facebook Market Place. I know someone else looking for a triple Burgundy one as well, and I'm just not seeing them. The under seat lights are on all Signature Series and Cartier cars. They are not on the black base model even with the comfort/convenience group. I have some and plan to add them. I figure the wiring is there.
I am so curious, I have a 1989 "special edition" that doesnt say it on Marti report. But there is advertising saying its special edition. I have the Garnet red with red piped/white leather interior and white carriage top. Do you know whats up with that?
I talked about that in this very video. I'm told your car and the silver frost with black top were actually spring/summer editions. I'm not sure how people started calling them special editions. The one in the video is actually coded in the VIN as a special edition.
I have to wonder about those reports when it says "HO SEFI engine" The engines were the same across the whole line. The only thing that made more power was dual exhaust. I am rather doubtful that it was SEFI...though I may not remember as well as others but I am pretty sure it was bank-fired(4 injectors at a time...no sequencing at all) and was not SEFI. The actual HO 302 may have had but what was different about the LSC and Mustang stuff is that it had forged pistons and a 351W cam(different firing order). I am sure that the engine is not the HO 302 even though that "F" code seems to say so. That is not true, I think.
If anybody thinks that car is a piece of crap they're nerves it's in damn good shape some better shape than my '86 Mercury Grand Marquis with 117,000 mi on it it's got weird rust none of it's through yet but it's got weird rust on top of the windshield few spots on the doors in the trunk lid is rotten but I still love that car because it was my great grandmother's and it needs a vinyl top
Here's a couple of videos on it. 👇 ua-cam.com/video/W-VFWnaKqi8/v-deo.htmlsi=ZQSNcfTGKbGJW9o4 ua-cam.com/video/QXEzPwTXDcA/v-deo.htmlsi=MEL2pHy11T4opjs9
I think you and other Lincoln owners are wrong. What you should have learned from your parents accident isn't that you need to stop driving but the total opposite. You just found your parents 2 Lincoln's that had low mileage and who ever owned them did not drive them but saved them for the next guy which was you. So the real message is that you need to drive them and enjoy them not save them for the next guy. I own a 1980 Chrysler Newport and no I don't drive it every day it's not my daily driver but I do drive it and it is way more rarer then your Lincoln because they weren't popular and most people don't like them. What can I say I do. So enjoy them and drive them.
@tonyscarcare5657 is there a certain place i could got the try to search my father 87. I did car fax but it has no records after he baught it. Like a ghost car. He had it for t years. No records of him trading it either which is crazy
I have to Lincoln Town cars two 1996 one is white and the other tan one has on only 21000 miles on it my mom bought it brand new and the other has 55000 both signature series I am truly a fan of the 4.6 I also had a 1996 mercury Grand Marq I sold it to a friend qith485000. Miles on it and it's still running the trans is now getting week
@tonyscarcare5657 but very old school of the 302s and all the other Ford engines 390 I am so thankful I found your channel with all the stuff going on into today's world watching your channel soothes my soul thank you Tony and continue with all you do and just over look the negativity from idiots lol.

- 1982-84 Olds Ninety Eight Regency Brougham sedan
- 1985 Olds Delta 88 Royale Brougham LS sedan
- 1984-86 LTD Crown Victoria (Brougham Roof Option only, on 4-dr models)
- 1987-90 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Brougham LS 4-dr sedan
- 1983-93 RWD Chrysler New Yorker/ New Yorker Fifth Avenues used the same lamp assemblies, just different trim bezels.
It may be something similar to what they were doing with the illuminated entry halo.
Actually, I did know that about the illuminated entry. I have NOS ones and forgot they have resistors on them.
yes i agree - some crazy person put that radio in there - that needs to go quick -
Higher mileage Tony but a lovely car. I am sure, as you replace a few things, it will present perfectly. Definitely a keeper. 👍
Thanks, Mark!
Oh, Tony, driving you nuts is such a very short trip. LOL 😆.
Nice car though.
🤣😂🤣😂
Looking forward to your repair videos. What a great car!
Thank you!
❤ beautiful. Yes been waiting 😂
Those wire wheels and blue roof set this car off!!
I 100% agree with you!
These cars didn't come with the gold, but I've seen people do it to the Twilight Blue ones.
Thank you!
Well its a Tony project! Nice daily driver, glad to see it went to a good home. Best of luck with the new ride.
Thank you!
Dallying one right now😂 3 hrs ago posted and ive been sliding around all day😂😂😂
It takes forever and a day to get a Marti report back.
The report came fairly quickly, but it doesn't seem like I'm ever gonna get that statistics report.
@tonyscarcare5657 i ordered a elite report for my 67 XL convertible took 5 months to get it
That's crazy!
Looks like a great summer daily driver
I have the brochure as well. I'd think if it came with the towing package that it would be listed on the Marti Report. It's all hard to understand.
yeah we had some teasers
My favorite rims are the deep dish machined rims.
The Lacy Spokes?
@tonyscarcare5657 i had to look it up. Lol Turbine spoke
Those were the standard wheel on Signature Series and Cartier. The wire spokes like on this car are definitely my favorite. I even have New Old Stock ones.
Thank you for your videos. They hit home.
Thank you. Hopefully I find time to get all of these projects done eventually.
It was originally bought about a mile up the road from the Honda dealership where I work.
That's crazy!
Sweet saved another always wondered on how to aquire a build sheet
Martiautoworks.com
25:02 those pipes hanging down like that bother me. The car MUST BE as built from the factory, but I understand this is going to be a "driver car" not a future museum car, so I guess it doesn't matter, but if I got behind this car, I'd assume it had fallen into "bad hands" and not an "OEM" purist car any longer. Great update.
The original exhaust on these cars did drop down below to bumper. That's why they don't bother me at all. The new exhaust on my other car doesn't stick down far enough. I worry about it burning the chrome off the bumper.
Tony Twilight Blue Edition spiceal Edition Lincoln singure series beautiful. Hood from the Lincoln in the accident trunk
🤗THANKS TONY FOR THE 🐝 ON THIS ONE 😅🧐💚💚💚
🤣😂🤣😂
I believe the coach lights are electroluminescent.
That is what I've been told in previous video comments. I'm not sure what I'll do. I doubt if I can find one.
@@tonyscarcare5657 I would not panic until I checked to see if it is getting power, etc. It may be a simple problem.
I know they have a reputation for not working. They were terrible on the Cadillac Broughams.
It’s a beautiful example. Enjoy it.
Thank you!
obsess with those coach lights - im gonna find some and put them on my civic - i don't care what people will think
These are crap. You better get some that take a regular bulb.
No, I believe 83 or 84 was the last year for the factory CB.
I have a 1988 same color same top but no leather cloth
Any videos you want to do on this car, I will watch. This goes for any other car.
Thank you! My repair videos don't get a lot of views, but I know they do help a lot of people.
Tony, how R your going to fix the front seat. It’s all cracked look’s worn. Makes the interior look 👀 nasty & not appealing for such a nice ride. Lol 😂 other than the front seat I love ❤️ your new ride! 😊
I mentioned that I would like to find seats. I will not spend the money to have them restored.
Hi Tony, i would love to see you working with this Town car till it is mint again, so this is going to bee a lot of work for you but i like to se the videos.👍👍
Thank you! It seems that I lose subscribers with some of my repair videos, sadly. I feel like I should do them because so many people need them.
I am anxious to see the video on fixing the silver panel on the rear of the car. The black is pealing really bad on my 89 towncar and I am at a loss as to what to fix it.
I'm trying to get someone to reproduce the decal.
Were the ACS conversions on the roof done at Wixon or were they sent somewhere after assembly
That, I'm not sure.
I think it's very nice , there's 35 and 36 year old cars in far worse shape
Yeah, I know, Jeff. You just know how I have to have everything working properly.
@@tonyscarcare5657 no argument and you'll get to your standard , however you've got a good starting point . There's always flaws to overcome .
@ I enjoy your enthusiasm around these first generation panthers.
Thank you!
Tony I have OEM blue floor mats in excellent condition if you're interested ? I have them in Pennsylvania ...thanks
I am interested. My email is thefordfreak@yahoo.com
Please send me some pics and a price. Thank you!
It is definitely not the HO.
cool
If anybody thinks that car is a piece of crap they're nerves it's in damn good shape some better shape than my '86 Mercury Grand Marquis with 117,000 mi on it it's got weird rust none of it's through yet but it's got weird rust on top of the windshield few spots on the doors in the trunk lid is rotten but I still love that car because it was my great grandmother's and it needs a vinyl top
Thank you! I'll get it all lined out.
You should buy my lincoln
Do you have any lincolns for sale?
No, I'm sorry, I don't at this time. I will be selling a 79 Continental Collector Series sedan fully loaded soon.

Do u fix and sell
No, I don't plan to sell.
@tonyscarcare5657 is there a certain place i could got the try to search my father 87. I did car fax but it has no records after he baught it. Like a ghost car. He had it for t years. No records of him trading it either which is crazy
I'm sorry, if there's no state records, I don't believe it can be found.
You bought a good car I would have got it
Hey Tony
So would you drop a new engine in one or trans if well good forbid .Because those 302 you can't beat them
There's no need for an engine or transmission. This car is just broken in good. It will need a timing chain and gears around 160-170k.
@tonyscarcare5657 yes I understand that but if it did would do it since the body is straight
@tonyscarcare5657 I am still thinking about that Thunderbird I found
How do you get those reports ?

Yes they do
I have to Lincoln Town cars two 1996 one is white and the other tan one has on only 21000 miles on it my mom bought it brand new and the other has 55000 both signature series I am truly a fan of the 4.6 I also had a 1996 mercury Grand Marq I sold it to a friend qith485000. Miles on it and it's still running the trans is now getting week
There was definitely nothing wrong with a 4.6.
