Very informative, I need one for my work. But you REALLY earned the “Like” from me with the classic throwback reference from Dumb and Dumber you threw in. “Big gulps huh… see ya later!” Epic. Not sure how many viewers will catch that.

Dude this was a great review. You had me rolling when you said “I’m not a fan of heights, shaky ladders, working without a spotter or working sober” LOL. Me personally combine not being sober with heights and shaky ladders and I become my own spotter. So far so good.

Peter said... "I'm going to fall and die!". If just one of those telescopic extensions should give out, that might just happen. I do like the ladder's concept. I just hope the maker has a great QC department.

I know a lot of you are liking this review but it's a dangerous review. You should not have a ladder ever upright as possible. That's how serious and catastrophic accidents happen. Also this reviewer does not seem to have much of a construction background at all based off of the way he is extending the ladder. Maybe watch a few more reviews to get a better feel for these types of ladders.

100% agree, I would imagine the company put a weight limit on it taking the ladders “flex” issue into account. Going up a almost completely vertical ladder sketches me out more than doing double rope transfers 300 ft up.

@@savegabe8635 i was not asking if it were weaker or stronger. I was asking if it would have been easier. And by your point, it should be easier. Its lighter therefore easier to extend out. Unless there is a built in mech that doesnt allow that. Thats why i was asking.

You dont want ladders going straight up as verticle as possible because of balance. Youre more likely to fall over the other way if something were to happen.

I am not sure all telescoping ladders have similar designs or construction but if you own a telescoping ladder, get rid of it. They seem pretty safe and there are many good reviews on here and Amazon but this thing is extremely dangerous. The plastic seals that prevent the ladder from collapsing in on itself become detached and block the pins from engaging that lock the ladder runs in place. I am an older man and the fall would have killed me. Fortunately, I caught myself and hung on until my son could rescue me with another ladder. I know this ladder is very popular on Amazon but they are a death trap! Get rid of it. Once again, these are extremely dangerous. I have contacted the US Federal Product Safety Commission to issue a recall.

It's crazy that there are so many positive reviews. I had a customer tell me I didn't need a ladder because she had one (I left my ladder at another job and it would've taken me another hour to get there and back) and when I got there she wanted me to use this thing. I refused to climb more than six or seven feet on it. That was the sketchiest I've ever felt on a ladder ever.

You must not think that highly of yourself if your life isn't worth the price of a normal ladder. They make plenty of options that extend up to 15 feet and can still be stored in a small area like this one. My Werner multi position 14 ft ladder is shorter than this when you collapse it all the way. A regular ladder also has stationary rungs. Don't trust your life with whatever tiny, plastic or aluminum mechanism that is used to keep a telescoping ladder from collapsing.
