Compact, lightweight and easy to store. Great for campers whose trailers don’t have ladders attached to inspect their roof.

Thanks, they had one at my last job. Yeah, pay attention when collapsing. They bite!

Great for your camper!!! I was thinking to minimize the "stack" of un-used steps at the bottom you could run run up a couple of steps at a time. Just a thought.

I had the same thought,,if you put it up 2 at a time it would probably even out

Have one, use it in tight spots. like going into my 1000 gallon spring feed tank to work on the pump.

Looks pretty handy. Those hooks for the top would also make it work as a roof ladder. You hook them on the ridge of the roof and you can walk up it.

Can you bunch the rungs at the top, rather than the bottom to make it easier to climb. Good video.

Yes but it makes it way more difficult to do

Was the finger placement warning coming from experience?😊

I’ve seen this used in a Dairy Plant for welders to get through a manhole at the top of a tank 3’ below a ceiling.

I've got an original 12' Tele-steps. I like/hate it, still has its coating of silicone oil! Yes, wear gloves or everything else gets oiled. Handy when you don't need to drag out the big ladder, and mine are a true finger masher with the locks placed to self retract (under the rungs). I like where these locks are, and doesn't take up a lot of space. Can't imagine climbing an 18 footer, though.

Im an electrician and my speciality is lighting. I do not care for that telescopic type of ladder. Im a Werner guy they make solid ladders.

Do not get it dirty, any mud jams up the mechanics.

Doesn't take long for it to get a spec of dust before it begins to jam.

I used a similar ladder by another manufacturer. These types of ladders have a limited number of uses. It was great when it worked but when the day comes it will not extend and lock. Too many moving parts have consequences.

I climbed on my first one of those Wednesday, did not like it...mainly first step or two...way to big if not fully extended, perfer little gaint compared to this...just my opinion. Im an insurance adjuster. It is nice for storage.

This would have been nice to have when I was in highschool. Could have made sneaking out of the second story window a lot easier. Just fold it up and hid it under the bed. Instead, I would climb (fall) down off the roof.

Does it make more sense to extend the thicker part first instead of the top of the ladder? Seems like it would make it sturdier.

This would be ideal to use for hunting and climbing tree's etc. Is it noisy?

there is another model that has spacers between each section so you can't smash your fingers.

Couldn't you extend it from the bottom, so the bunched up wrungs are at the top (yaknow the "not a step" wrung)?

    • @dansproshop
      @dansproshop  10 місяців тому

I thought the same thing, but once it get so high you can’t reach the rings from the ground to extend it anymore
