I knew he was gonna make the worst decision for almost every scenario when he picked a fucking leaflet over the map

im like 99% certain this choice is literally just implemented at the start to get the player used to the choice system and the devs thought that 99% of players would choose the map over the leaflet. but of course x is in that 1% who choose the leaflet. he such a pepega

@@vqlid417 I mean in these dumbass games, which he has played plenty of before, a choice like "map" feels way too obvious to work, thats why he went leaflet because with how these games are there was honestly a better probability of what he was thinking to be true. Map could have been like "character: i dont know how to read a map or where we are on it teehee" while a leaflet could be like "character: wow we just passed this landmark so we are here and it has pictures and stuff so go forward lol".

It will never be as good as Until Dawn that game is the OG.
They knocked it out of the park with UD. The games since have all each had most of it done fine and maybe 1 or 2 aspects done great. But UD felt like it nailed almost everything.
And personally I like the whole mine incident and Wendigos and everything way more than any of the other threats.

I am a huge fan of all supermassive products but the quarry is by far the best experience I've had with them.

I would say though both games have similarities with the complex storyline, the cast of teenage characters and the remote environment where they are stranded but besides that I think supermassive hit it out of the park with until dawn.
@@remtius8676 disagree, they tried to explain the monsters in this one while UD was just scary monsters from an old curse. Also the cast of UD was better, especially with the subplot of the brother who felt guilty for his sisters death and shit. I feel like the story and character are the most important in these games and they are barely better than little hope.
Whenever these tell tale like games come out I always need to watch X’s perspective otherwise I’d be malding over every mistake I know he made

It's the same studio trying over and over to recreate something like Until Dawn, right? Until Dawn for me had something special, wasn't perfect but everything put together made the game so well designed and immersive throughout the entire thing.

@@Versace_sheets I never said that they're bad, but the studio lost the charm they had when they made Until Dawn. Man of Medan, Little Hope and House of Ashes are all great games with great storylines, but personally the characters aren't interesting and seem lifeless in movement and voice acting, also the environmental setting and enemy choice (and the backstory) of Until Dawn is incredible.

i kept waiting for the quick action events to get progressively more difficult as the game went on, be it shorter reaction time allowances or coming at you in faster succession. never happened. very disappointing cutscene game

People frustrated in the comments about his decision "fails" should expect imperfection beforehand. Its what makes this the juicer run this is real canon content
It's not the point its imperfection, it's the point its deliberate. XQC even says "We should trust this guy" during the whole car scene and then he goes against it for "Content" (In his words). Deliberately making EVERY character into an asshole and making the wrong choices just because he thinks its content (Meaning he'd play the game differently off-screen).
I'm not a Juicer for fake content. If that's how he would play the game then sure but making bad choices for content is hella fake

He does try on those quick time events though and he tries to plan out when to do them or just let it ride out. It's a very different experience like xqc vs someordinary gamers resident evil playthroughs. It's like watching a Completly different game haha
